    That second cabin surprise makes this boat. I thought it had a very small interior until you revealed that. Amazing review as always. Enjoying every single one of these at the boatshow.

      Would have preferred that the table across the galley did not have a cabinet underneath it so it can be converted into a bed though. You can never have too much sleeping space on a boat.

    As you said Nick, simple engineering. That means less things to go wrong and more time to spend enjoying the boat. Nicely packaged as well. Thanks Nick.

    Very practical a great day boat for mucking about on the water and a place to sleep if you want to. Ideal for the British coast certainly along the south and west. A good galley for knocking up a fry up, can’t beat a bacon and egg sandwich unless you add sausages. Nice to see these smaller boats cause really that’s all you need.

    A mountain lake, shoreline cabin with off-grid utilities would eat up nearly twice the price of this boat. After wasting hours driving to and from that not so secluded retreat with lots of neighbors to help dilute costs, you are stuck at the lake's shore. This boat, on the other hand, is ready to leave the grind of civilization and put you "off grid" the moment you step on board. And this rugged people pleaser can even provide calming hours still tied to the dock. Yup, a boat like this could provide years of four season relaxation. Thanks, Nick, nice tour of a fun boat.

    Hi Nick, damned that's a super practical boat for the money. Love how it's a manual operations boat, no needing computers to work roof etc, everything so simple, a boat to use not just a Marina Queen that's never used. It's a 5👍 from me. Cheers DougT

  • @rtbinc2273
    @rtbinc2273 Год назад +4

    The Botnias and Sargos look a lot alike. The design seem to a Scandinavian thing. I've always really liked them. Sargo has a 45 - I'd love to see that. You're the OG boat reviewer on RUclips and just do more different boats than anyone. It's an Aquaholic day and you could get anything from a paddle board to a super yacht. What I love is that these are not just Aspirational but are achievable. You do so many boats that are really achievable. The Seakeeper on this boat is an A-hah moment. Get a more stable boat and put a Seakeeper on it and maybe I can go boating and not be seasick the whole time.

    If I had an option, I would want an alternate drive, having never been a fan of outdrives, mainly from a maintenance point of view…… I’m not sure any other option would work, maybe V drive or water jets…… I was going to say it was an aquatic Land Rover……. but I would want it to be reliable, so probably an aquatic G Wagon 🥳

    On other boats with small bathrooms they always put the toilet in the shower but having the sink in there instead, I think, is a much better idea. If the shower floor is still wet, you can lean in and use the sink without getting your feet wet. Others are trying but you still do the best tours. Thank you.

    This style of boat is what I would go for if I had the money and wanted a motor boat. Only I would like it to be a pure displacement hull optimized for efficiency and then a single engine, perhaps in the 80-100 hp range. I don't like speed and I really don't like the costs associated with two larger engines and all the fuel...
