I love boats like Sargo and Targa. No nonsense all season boating with safe decks and great seakeeping. No fancy gimmicks, just quality workmanship and smart no nonsense design. Be nice to see a proper 24 or 48 hour reveiw to see what they are like to live about for a day or two.
The Scandinavians and Maineahs have a lot in common! This would absolutely fit right in on the coast of Maine. Perfect! Wicked nice vessel bub! To quote you English chaps, “she’s a propah boat”. Love it!
The Volvos are a pain though, nice with the stern drives to free up interior space but expensive overhauls will be very frequent if the boat is actually used for more than a couple of short trips a year. I would like an allseason boat like this with a Lugger/JohnDeere, something that will do 30,000 hours instead of a 1,000.
What a lovely little boat, I've had a 34 and a 40 ft boat and i think the use of space on that 33 is fantastic. Also when you entered the salon and showed the seating with the table i thought to myself "what and odd way of cutting the cushions" but i had no idea there was an extra cabin and toilet under there, absolutely superb.
A Few Thoughts: The Fins build an incredible boat. The reverse windows... The opening above the Main Area... The simplicity of the closures on the side doors is perfect. Clunky, yet perfect! I abhor 'fake $hit'...! That said, the synthetic teak is what I would go with EVERY time...! I thought it was freshly refurbed, but the fact that it doesn't 'grey out' is genius...! Kudos Sargo. This boat is like the 57' Chevy of boats. She looks like a slow-ass clunker sitting at a red light, but when the light turns green... Pops leaves ya in the dust baby...! She's gotta look sporty cruisin' along at 35 knots...! The table solution... Brilliant. No fancy-schmancy pneumatic/hydraulic/sensored door... You wanna come in? Open the dang door man!!! (It's gorgeous) And then you come to the Main Area, for lack of a better term. This is where you start to lose sight that this is only a 33 friggin' foot boat...! Not some super yacht. Frank Lloyd Wright would be inspired by the 'form follows function' of this vessel. So livable. I know small boats can only do so much in terms of space, especially accommodating a shower. I can't stand the thougth of showering where you're going to poop...! This design solves that. On a 33 footer...!!! And then there's a "Smuggler's Blues quality" 2nd full, complete, stylish, cool as hell cabin tucked away...? Okay......... I've watched eleventy-billion Aquaholic vids, but I've never, EVER, seen a used boat for sale that didn't have the price in the title. Can this one be had for a lark...?!? I brown-bagged it all 2020 just so I could bank roll one of these Finish vessels. Let me check my account... Can it be had for $18.73...? (USD of course)
Don't know if I like this or a Targa better but it is nice to see alternatives. I do like the synteak from a maintenance perspective. Well pesented as always, thanks @Nick. 👍
At 2:00 you can tell it’s supremely well designed. Top right of the shot shows a radiator for the engine bay. Zero condensation when not in use over winter. I have my Amazon 80w tube heater in the engine bay with the saloon floor propped up to allow cable access. Mine is French built - sacre bleu those French don’t do cold weather unless they’re skiing.
Didn't think I'd say this but I like this even more than a Botnia. Never really liked Nordic/Trawler style over Princess/Sunseeker etc until educated by Nicks videos.
The Princess is an expensive mistress who flirts with all your mates, this is the sturdy wife who'll carry you home on her shoulder when you get drunk at the pub.
The 36 Fly looks really good. Same boat, a touch bigger obviously, but with a Flybridge for those who want to cruise to warmer climes. Doubtless an innovation their customers to the south keep asking for.
I know this is an older model and you've kind of refined your style of review. But I'm really taken with this boat. I've recently been looking at the ranger tugs, I wish there was a range mentioned. You remember what the range is on this?
Nice and compact, but looks very functional. What a brilliant way to hide the rear entry to the 2nd cabin. Excellent little unit. What is the price range on this unit?
If that's what you're after, check out Jack's recent review of the Nord Star 31+ (ruclips.net/video/6Ey0XncVDDk/видео.html) or his 2015 review of the Sargo 31 (ruclips.net/video/WS1qae6epJU/видео.html)
Another superb tour by the indomitable Nick Burnham. What a cool little boat. The second cabin sold me. I would try and stay on this until the wife tried to file divorce papers. =)
Great video of a fantastic boat. Thanks! Do you know if that bulky dinette base is an option? Do they make one that drops down to provide another berth?
This one is asking £379,995 and there's another 2018 model in the US that's on sale for $439,000 And they do offer a flybridge version, but only on the Sargo 36
Well, it’s a wonderful, practical boat, but you know that they’re super expensive when no one wants to talk about the price! About the same secondhand as a new Rolls-Royce Wraith? Who on earth buys these new? I just checked and found I used my boat on 9 days last year (OK lockdown made it hard); it really is getting hard to justify the costs.... (BTW, I should have said the used boat is about the same cost as a brand new Rolls-Royce Phantom. Wow! This is crazy stuff....)
I'm really growing to love boats that come from that part of the world. Always cramming a sleeping space or whatever somewhere that the fancier manufacturers may find off brand or in poor taste. Is there anyone in North America making a comparable product that you know of?
I do like how the Scandi boats put the sink in the shower cubicle rather than the loo in there. My first first on seeing a toilet in a cubicle is nobody likes a wet seat 🤣
Tricky to arrange at the moment, but if you haven't already, check out Jack's recent review of the Nord Star 31+ (ruclips.net/video/6Ey0XncVDDk/видео.html) or his 2015 review of the Sargo 31 (ruclips.net/video/WS1qae6epJU/видео.html)
I love your vids on your channel or this. I think you got distracted by the roof, and didn't give us much of a view of the helm and the instruments above it.
2 videos from Nick on the same day!! It’s like Christmas 🎄
Right? What did we do to deserve such a gift? LOL
yes! I love it!!
Such a gift 🎁 🛥
Better than xmas its whoop whoop day. Lol
They all look the same
As a watcher of your Aquaholic channel, being shown the engines right at the beginning has blown my mind 🤯🤯🤯 😜
Nick your videos have kept me going all pandemic long. You're a bright spot in my world.

You are spoiling us today Nick! This is exactly the kind of motorboat I like, not too big and easy to handle single-handed
Nice to see a Sargo on Your channel. These are built 1,5 km from where i live :)
I hope you get discount, lovely boats Sargo love them.

Hi Nick. A fantastic fishing boat. Safe, seaworthy and practical. Fast and comfortable. Great walkthrough video thanks 😊

A practical boat for the weekend adventurer does what it says on the tin
Really practical boat and the split on the cabins is ingenious
I had just finished the Sailing Ship, and here this is.Awesome.What a day.Thank you Nick.I liked both ship, and prefer powered.
Don't know if I like this or a Targa better but it is nice to see alternatives. I do like the synteak from a maintenance perspective. Well pesented as always, thanks @Nick. 👍
7:23 clever, and potential Brig. Thxs Nick 👍
Sounds like we might have mutual friends

Great way to spend a weekend .Thank you Nick. Stay safe out there.
Now this is a boat I really like. Great video, amazing access to engines, 2 good size cabins and 2 x toilets.
There is a black and white one which is the newest I beleive in the same marina I use and it's lovely to look at
Another great looking boat with lots of room and plenty of performance and a boat good till the lake freezes.
Nice one Nick.... quirky practical craft.... time to do the lotto.... 🙂🇬🇧
Very good coverage of the Sargo 33
Fantastic little Botnia rival, with tour by the maestro.
A second sleeping area on a boat of that size is something else. Certainly well thought out.
Love the rear cabin, great boat.
You can tell its a Nordic boat......how many manufacturers install a radiator into the engine bay! Cracking video as always old chap
I noticed that, too. Truly an all weather boat. And very hard to fall off, too.
Another excellent video, Thanks Motor Boat & Yachting! Great Boat, Great Host.
Very cool hidden room!
Wonderful Nick Sir.. Nice to see you..
Kind of Boat I would like to have....great walkthrough as always
Thank you, Nick, for having more than one "job". Later...
BTW - BEST M B & Y feature is the three of you taking boats - GREAT stuff, that.
Just like the Nord Star, a cracking little boat.
Interesting engines first, nice to mix it up a bit.
Real Tonka Boat.
Excellent practical and looks well nailed together... Horses for courses obviously but I like that boat. Great review as always Nick.
This is a very cool little boat :o Like it very much!
Another outstanding video. Please remember to tell us the range. Perhaps fuel capacity and fuel burn per hour at cruising and displacement speeds
Hi Kirstein, the fuel capacity is 800 litres and the cruising range is 240 miles at 25 knots with a 20% fuel reserve
Thanks Nick
Another completely through boat tour.
Tonka toy, nice Minnesota reference!
Excellent boat!
The 36 Fly looks really good. Same boat, a touch bigger obviously, but with a Flybridge for those who want to cruise to warmer climes. Doubtless an innovation their customers to the south keep asking for.

Quite similar to the Botnia Targa series.
Serious boating boats, very practical, all weather, pilot cockpit style.
Another great video and wonderful boat!
Nice and compact, but looks very functional. What a brilliant way to hide the rear entry to the 2nd cabin. Excellent little unit. What is the price range on this unit?

@@MotorBoatYachting Thank you so much
Not to get to personal but is this Chanel your full time job? Video Quality is great and you upload a ton of content. Greetings from Germany
Nick has his own channels (aquaholic, motorholic).

Hey I clicked on RUclips just at the right moment.
Hope you can review these kind of boats in their element: off shore and bad weather.
If that's what you're after, check out Jack's recent review of the Nord Star 31+ (ruclips.net/video/6Ey0XncVDDk/видео.html) or his 2015 review of the Sargo 31 (ruclips.net/video/WS1qae6epJU/видео.html)
@@MotorBoatYachting yes found that! thx. great to see them in real boating elements
Just a stunning boat to me.
That’s my kind of boat, thanks Nick 😁
Morning Nick ,isn't this the same boat that was in Jaws 2 and if so look what happened to that one
You had me at Tonka 😁, like this one, I would be very happy to own and enjoy that one 👍😁
Another superb tour by the indomitable Nick Burnham. What a cool little boat. The second cabin sold me. I would try and stay on this until the wife tried to file divorce papers. =)
Nick you madman! Two in a day?
Some say he can function without sleep...
cool little tug !
Nick, was that a radiator in the engine bay ?
Yes I saw that as well, guessing it's for heating engine bay if your operating in really cold conditions??
Can you plz review the Sargo 36 Explorer model?
Nice boat to do the Great Loop in America.
If you stop sailing this is the motor yacht for you .
Was that an inbuilt radiator I saw in the engine space or an onner ad on.?
Great video of a fantastic boat. Thanks!
Do you know if that bulky dinette base is an option? Do they make one that drops down to provide another berth?
Hi - you can have the fixed storage base or an electric one that drops to form a berth exactly as you described 👍
I love that boat!
What's she going for?
Do they have a flybridge model?
This one is asking £379,995 and there's another 2018 model in the US that's on sale for $439,000
And they do offer a flybridge version, but only on the Sargo 36

Love Sargos
Another great video. What this guy doesn't know about boats isn't worth knowing.
Nick told me in 2 minutes what the Explorer version difference is. You have to hunt for it on the Sargo website.
Amazing use of space. Very very nice. What is its tankage and range?
Cheers!
Fuel capacity is 800 litres, water capacity is 260 litres and you can expect a cruising range of 240 miles at 25 knots with 20% fuel reserve
Is there any Sargo with outboard motors.
Nice boat, do you have the price of the one you viewed?
This one is asking £379,995 and there's another 2018 model in the US that's on sale for $439,000
Hi have a gallon 68 in England any Idea how I can get delivered to fremantle in western Australia
A two month trip visiting many different ports on your way?
Yep I think that's going to be the plan
Have an uncle in England who is so Happy to use my boat
Mybe one day I will get to England
I do like how the Scandi boats put the sink in the shower cubicle rather than the loo in there. My first first on seeing a toilet in a cubicle is nobody likes a wet seat 🤣
Engines not near the end of the video? Mind blown.
Lekker man lekker
What is the exact name of that fake-teak?
Sargo 36 fly. Next please 🙏😊
I’ve never seen a radiator in an engine compartment before
Not even in your car ...?
notrut lol nice one
Smuggler's Blues 3, anyone? 😂
Plz see if you can get a sea trial on one of these

Price?
Range?
yes I would like to know that information too
This one is asking £379,995 and there's another 2018 model in the US that's on sale for $439,000
I don't see any rod holders is this a fishing boat or a party boat meaning a playboat
Nice
Very similar to a Targa
How much is this one up for sale for?
Just looked it up, £380,000 for a 2018.
@@johnyoung8483 cheers 👍
A bathroom radiator in the engine room 😏
In the morning during breakfast you get a knock on your bottom because the other couple wants out
How much Nick?
They should have taken the windscreen cover off for a review
How Much?
This one is asking £379,995 and there's another 2018 model in the US that's on sale for $439,000
Volvo diesels painted white - very unusual.
You have to have a 28 inch waste for that coffin
I love your vids on your channel or this. I think you got distracted by the roof, and didn't give us much of a view of the helm and the instruments above it.
So the question remains, why is all "Teak" wood not synthetic? IF I was spending millions on a boat, I darn well would buy synthetic.
justreallybored because most people would probably want real teak :)
@@nestormontagu4718 Why?
No they wouldn't. It's a pain in the behind to maintain, it's slippery and it certainly doesn't last forever. Not to mention environmental damage.
*****GET AQUAHOLIC TO 300K SUBS******
A jevel....
Price not in titke? Dislike.
Not as pretty as most boats you review!
But that's her beauty ...
Maybe but Sargo looks more safe for the sea and more practical and fast that's what I see as a sailer, for me a Sargo if I can afford it.
