That «secret» cabin was the cherry on top, this is a Fantastic little boat
Love that second cabin.
my jaw dropped... like SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!
It's fintastic
it seems like every finnish boat he's ever reviewed has one of these!
@@coldcoffee89 We're ready and waiting.....😁
After showing the forward cabin I was thinking, that would be funny if there was actually a second hidden cabin somewhere... Didn't expect that be true ! So cool. Thanks for the tour Nick, consistent quality as always.
I knew it was coming
Blown away by what a 31 footer can provide. One of my all times faves
Anyone know if this is 31 feet to the transom or the end of the swim platform? If they include the swim platform in the 31 foot measurement this is more like a 27 footer and that makes things even more impressive!
I love this. My husband has a Land Rover Defender which he loves and this boat seems to be built with the same ethos. Eminently simple, practical and capable.
Yes indeed, very similar, albeit this has a performance edge that's perhaps lacking from the Defender.
@@AQUAHOLIC Lol. Good point Nick but what the Defender lacks in speed it makes up for in torque. It may not go fast but it could pull your house down if required.
@@lusoyachting36 Hopefully that won't ever be required..! 😳
Love these style of boats with the wide side walk throughs and big center enclosed space. Such a usable boat.
Yes, it doesn't quite cross the boat/ship barrier like a bigger Nordhaven, but it definitely gives a nod to many of the things that can make a boat "ship-like". I like this thing for the price.
I know we all dream of owning a tri deck super yacht but i,m starting to love all of this style of small boat that look easy to handle and are like a Tardis inside, the designers are brilliant. Thanks for another great tour Nick many thanks.
Another great boat and wonderfully in depth boat walkthrough! A walk around of a walk around boat 😀
40 knots is very impressive!
The Fins deliver yet again. Functional and simplistic. More of these please👌🏼
5:07 WHAT!!!! i'd love an interview with a boat designer showing all their space saving ways, tips and tricks. I think a lot of people in tiny flats could use the advice too :)
These vids have seriously changed my awareness of living space.
Great video Nick,
This boat has several key advantages over my Botnia Targa 30, especially the opening roof and the much better galley. Also the doors in the bulwarks by the pilot house doors are great, no clambering over the sides. I like the single engine too, no need these days for twins which are expensive to buy and to maintain.
On the negative side, access to the aft cabin is better in the Botnia Targas, and a spare pilot berth in the aft cabin is sometimes useful.
However the deal breaker for me is no flybridge, which is transformative on a boat of this kind. Nothing beats the 360 degree view you get on the Botnia Targa flybridge and that wind in your hair feeling of freedom.
Such an innocent looking boat at fist glance. But after a proper tour it's obvious this vessel is packed full of fun surprises. I mean TWO staterooms? A full head with shower? A fully anointed galley? A boat load of comfy seating? Oh, and was that an adjustable helm? The answer to all this rhetoric is YES - this little boat has all the comfort of proper yacht. The boat so nice, I had to watch the tour twice. Great surprises, Nick, thanks for sharing...
It's always better to have a shower stall if you can, otherwise you're always wiping down the entire head after showering, but on a 31 foot boat you can forgive it not having one. Also a lot of focus on these is the day-in day-out commuting and just occasional weekend use, so the shower won't be used on most of the voyages. For yachts it kind of doesn't make sense to get them out and about unless it is for a day or two so they showers get used pretty much every time.
That is astonishing i love the hidden cabin under the salon. Such good design, everything designed for usability, even the little details. Thanks for the tour Nick.
Now that is impressive, i do like this style of boat and have seen a few of your videos of this type but this has to be the most practical of this walk-around style to date, lovely. Great tour as always
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love this boat. It would be a great Southeast Alaska boat, both for fishing and whale watching. Thanks, Nick!!!
Fantastic tour of a terrific boat 😎
As ever, huge thanks to you for taking us on board 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Now this is honestly absolutely a perfect boat for most everyday people. Imagine the fun you could have with that!
Im just gonna go find my 310 thousand everyday quid, to seconds mate ;D
If 'Everyday People' had roughly $500K extra somewhere outside of their retirement accounts.
@@jamesellsworth9673 Yeah, you're both right, but I can at least imagine buying one of these rather than a $19m Princess 80' superyacht. Maybe when i'm 60, we've downsized the house, and the wife has been convinced by me and would let me.
Nice one! You didn't forget the second cabin 😉😉😉😁😁😁🥃🥃
Thank you. Very practical boat. Great for off shore fishing.
Nick, it's nice of you to keep showing Finnish boats. Finland often gets overlooked & not just when it comes to their boats.
They make some awesome boats (and are lovely people in my experience)
@@AQUAHOLIC : Finland builds some great boats & ships too. Yes, most Finns are nice though somewhat reserved.
Very nice, for 30ft it's got a lot of clever functions and very cleverly disguised usability! Love the mechanical aspects rather than loads of gimicky electronics for the roof etc. Seems very solid and well put together as well. I think this would be on my shortlist for south coast and the Solent.
Marvellous ingenuity in these boats! 👍🏻😉
That's a nifty little boat~! Perfect for a weekend getaway or a startup yacht. Everything is so thoughtfully and neatly laid out. Nothing seems cramped in spite of the size. The second cabin is astoundingly amazing. Thank you for another great tour & fantastic presentation as always Nick~! :)
What a crafty craft! I actually love the hidden sleeping area. Seemed very safe will tall rails too!
I've been watching your videos for about a year and I still like the go any where boats. Great video by the way
I find the Finnish boats deal well with form and function, with a bias toward function. This suits my personal style quite well. The hidden rear berth is a nice feature. It would be really suite 😉 if they had a heads down there, but I guess you can’t have everything. Thanks for another excellent tour Nick
The 33 foot version is basically the same, but being a tad bigger has a 2nd head option in the mid-cabin. But that extra 2 feet of space adds fifty thousand to the price! But that's because it's not just a bit bigger with no other changes, they've added more "stuff" inside too.
this is for people who enjoy boating, not for those who enjoy showing off. Great video as always and love these contents about more usable boats!
Years ago when I was in commercial boat sales, I used to love pilot boats for being true all weather work horses. This looks like someone took a similar concept and gave it a yacht finish. Perfect for cruising the West Coast of Scotland with the way the weather and tides change so fast! Thanks for sharing, and another great review. As always, regards to you and Marianne ;-)
Loving the use of space on this little cutie! Very practical indeed. Thanks for the walkaround **chuckles**, Nick!
What a lovely little boat 👍
It’s amazing what they’ve squeezed into a 31 footer without making the saloon and cabins too pokey. I do so like these trawler style boats and this one fits the bill superbly.
Excellent tour as always Nick, many thanks
Very clever boat. Great side decks also. Really impressed by it, fast, good build quality, good access, and most importantly privacy on a 30 foot boat. You normally see boats in this size category fall into the same sorts of layouts, but this one you can tell that they thought outside of the norm.
I love it. Thoroughly practical and very well designed. I’ll add that the weather was perfect for a boat tour!
Really cozy little boat, and the hidden "extra" room is awesome. Thanks again, Nick!
My pleasure!
What a great bit of boat design. Looks super solid and unfussy but lots of good ideas make it a really practical boat.
What a well thought out out little boat
Most intelligent boat I have seen, can sleep 6 for a weekend... and I love the rear table over the engine!!!
I find your videos which focus on smaller boats with their clever use of space really interesting 👍
A surprisingly good little boat love the hidden cabin perfect place to hide away with a large Rum and a good book.
Thank you Nick I like this show of you again, those all wheather boats please do more and more off them
Now that's how to Finnish a boat tour boom a secret cabin, That's some James Bond thinking there hmmm clever guy's in Finland. Have a great day Nick
It was such a fantastic design, that rear cabin really suprized me the bed was bigger then the twin birth , so it sleeps 4 but it could actually sleep 5-6 with the table converted into a bed .... and the speed and power made this a great weekend get away mini yacht... really kool boat
Hi Nick. A go anywhere anytime boat. Practical and good layout too. Great walkthrough tour thanks 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
For some reason this boat seems twice the size it should be! Excellent use of space, and a lovely tour as always, Nick, well done!
I like that boat no bells whistles just good all rounder
nice and practical all-weather boat right down to the sliding roof and the wooden door limiter pure and simple what more could you want
Brilliant!!The second cabin was a TOTAL surprise!
Clever boat with lots of hidden surprises. Thanks as always Nick for the tour.
Glad you enjoyed it
This boat is definitely one of my favorites. Its a great all-rounder and fit for Scandinavian climate. It should stand quite well for second hand market as well. Now all we do is wait for COVID to succumb.
The surprise of that second cabin was the best. Genius design for a 31ft.
I appreciate all-weather practical design over flashy prom queens.
Thx u Sir Nick🇺🇸👍
I've been following you for awhile and I really appreciate all of your in depth videos of the different and various vessels. This one or the 28 will be perfect for me to cruise the Great Loop or ICW for me. Thanks a alot! I'm a very practical person and me and my wife want something just for us to enjoy and handle without breaking the bank!!👍👍
Very nice boat i do like the 2nd bedroom well planned & the boat looks good.
Good review.
Another interesting little boat ... not my cuppa tea ... but some very nice little touches ... Anyway won’t be long 🤞🤞before you’re off filming some lovely Rivas or Pershings for us to drool over ..Keep up the great work Nick 👍❤️🚤🛥
A Few Thoughts:
You see the video thumbnail, and then the opening shot shows what looks like a sports fisher at best... 31 feet yet nowhere to hang out? Such a tiny little wheelhouse / cabin. Surely there's not enough room for anything substantially functional in that tiny space and then...
What the...?!?!? Okay... so it's got a great little Saloon, and it'll more than comfortably afford 2 couples a fun day out - such a shame it'll probably only sleep two, at best.
The Fins never cease to amaze me with brilliantly simple solutions. The wooden hasp on the door will not only hold it in the "open a few inches" position, but it's also designed to serve as a lock when fully closed Nick...! And ZERO moving parts to fail. Then the opening in the roof - again, nothing electrical to go wrong as well as a simple design with minimal failure points.
I've come to appreciate the negative windows... so much less glare and sunlight to contend with.
I'm wondering if she's got A/C...?
And who cares if "that effectively makes that an En Suite..." Nick...??? It's NOT like she can accommodate more than a couple for a weekend. I beg you pardon...? Second accommodation...?!?
When boats this size try to squeeze a 2nd cabin in it's usually disastrous. Not Sargo. They NAILED it...!
It's a shame she probably only putters around at 12-15 knots like the river cruiser she looks like, right?
35 knots...?!? Are you kidding me? WOW. and 40 with the larger Volvo Penta... Amazing.
This surprised me at ever turn Nick... Great tour as always sir! Cheers mate!
Very clever boat design. Thanks for the video.
Love this boat a real sleeper in the performance department, practical and the trawler feel and for its size it is a wonder. Now if only it had two engines, Cheers again Nick
Was not expecting that 2nd cabin and up to around 40knots. Wow, what a surprise packet.
I really like the manual nature of all the doors windows and engine cover. They are solid, reliable, and in the 9case of the door and roof stops) stylish. The electric motor adjustments are often slow, noisy, and extra maintenance. On a boat this size they are also overkill.
What a fantastic little boat as this
Love this type - Sargo, Botnia or Nord Star. Great and purposeful looking boats.
Really nice, it could satisfy a lot of owners with varying needs.
Was not expecting that second bed!
Cracking, usable boat for the length. Love it.
To me this is the perfect boat.
That's a really nice one. Good stuff for 31 feet.
I absolutely love it when folks come up with fun little features like that bedroom under the seats. I have to say though, that one may be a bit of trouble if there's anyone trying to sleep where the table is and someone needs to use the head.
This is a great kit for a small family. It does everything for a fun day on the water. The only item missing is the fridge, which looks like it is under the helm seat. Price is great also!
This would be a good weekender/fishing boat. Quite nice. And as always, an excellent Aquaholic Tour!
Quite clever this boat! Great job, as always nick!!
Hello Nick. Have a safe blessed day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Amazing little boat, Nick! That second cabin was a complete surprise! Wow, somebody was thinking. The efficient use of space on this one reminds me of a time when I worked on Oberon Class submarines (during refit in Canada). Every bit of space was used to the max, and had to be. Fantastic channel!
Wow, very smart design! That secret cabin was so cool!
I’m starting to really like Scandinavian boats. Elegant, good quality and practical.
Another very unique craft Nick really cool and spacious for her size thanks as always for the tour mate 😎🇨🇦
My pleasure!
Such a clever boat for a day on the water, the occasional overnight stay, or daily commuting!
What a fantastic little boat. Great use of space
Now thats my kind of boat
I could easily live full time in something like this. Wake up early and go fishing everyday.
I don't know why, but watching your videos take away my stress a bit ,I wish you the best
Glad to hear that
I love these sort of boats very clever layouts. Thanks for all the vids. Cheers :)
Thanks for watching!
Lovely Boat tour Nick...Defo on my wish list, keep these more affordable boats coming please...
Love this and that hidden cabin is perfect !
That's a great practical ⛵!
Amazing detail... as usual, I know you are doing this and have done so, however, really enjoy our more affordable motor yachts.... yes, we hope to buy one day.... Enjoy every episode and cant wait for the next ! :)
People from Finland really know how to build.
Love you Aquaholic!!! From Aussie😉
Very clever boat. Great side decks also. Really impressed by it, fast, good build quality, good access, and most importantly privacy on a 30 foot boat. You normally see boats in this size category fall into the same sorts of layouts, but this one you can tell that they thought outside of the norm.
Nice Vlog👍and nice boat! Well done little Day Tripper/Weekender and I like the adjustable sliding roof and steering wheel! Wish more boats had adjustable height/position wheels on them, especially the ones that put the wheel down so low you practically need to steer it with your feet, even if it's one that can be steered with GPS and thruster control type switches where you hardly need to use the wheel most of the time it should be adjustable to personal taste and comfort.
Forget all the luxury super-yachts you've shown us, this is the best boat I've seen which fulfils my dreams of cruising around Malta in the summer months.
Now where did I put that lottery ticket?
Now that is a practical and useful vessel.
for this size, this boat is perfect. perfect!
Very nice as are all the boats that you show us around.
What a great practical boat! Loved the hidden cabin
A lot of our "white arrow head" harbour queens (Princess, Sunseeker, etc.) might be sublime for posing in the Mediterranean, and Britain's 3 weeks of summer, but I can't help feel a boat like this is much more useful and "get-out-able" up here on the west coast of Scotland.
Nice craft,
now i need a large body of water.
Thank you.
I cant Believe i just found out about your instagram after watching every video of you😂
I liked it even before the hidden surprise. 🤯 mind blown.
Really like the reversible seat. So simple 👍🏻
Sargo’s are amazing! Lovely boat and quite fast too. Keep an eye out for the new Sargo 45
It's compact and wonderful boat Nick Sir... Boat looks stunning... and looking dashing Sir
I love that sneaky little back cabin
