We took a walk around the Lara area, visiting the Düden Waterfall and picking up an extra special treat from one of our SUBSCRIBERS! This insanely delicious food is a meal that you can’t find in restaurants, so we feel extra lucky to have been able to try it!
For an afternoon snack we stopped into a toast shop to try Turkish tost, pretty much like an insane grilled cheese, and oh so delicious.

Nice find with the börek place.
I would recommend going the Haatay if you want real hummus and hibeş.
Note: The suffix "-li" means "with". So the cheese is "peynir" and ground beef is "kıyma". Peynirli means "with cheese" and kıymalı means "with ground beef".
