In the sequel to the video for Istanbul, there will again be very tasty street food.
You will also see how the New Year is celebrated on Taksim Square. I am glad that I started the year fresh, after the wonderful Turkish bath. I've never had such shiny shoes. They really were "yeni gebi" (like new), as the man who tried so hard to make them "said"! And again, everyone was smiling and cheerful.
One of the big surprises for me was the Turkish boza. I didn't expect it to be so thick, light and served with chickpeas and cinnamon. It was superb!
I like that there are many places in this city with deep traditions that are zealously preserved! I know that if I return to Istanbul, even in 10 years, these places will still be there!
Istanbul is magic!
