And remember the room rates usually don't include the "resort fees" until the end of booking - but with the rewards cards you can get that taken off at the end sometimes!
We live 3 hours South of Vegas, and it is our main airport. We also go for concerts, hockey, conventions, or on the way to Utah. I try to avoid staying on the strip, but will occasionally stay at Elera. We're really liking Virgin Hotels, booked with the Hotel Collection. Since we're on wheels, it is just easier for traffic. The best food for the money is off strip, like Firefly Tapas Kitchen, Hofbrauhaus, and 888 Japanese BBQ.
I'm a Caesar Diamond member, I stay free all the time mid strip at Horseshoe. I don't need a 1,500.00 a night suite at Bellagio. Free is free. Mid strip is the best location. We always book Sunday to Friday.
I stayed at flamingo executive floor and was highly impressed. Very very nice, quiet and attentive housekeeping fyi. I dont think i would classify as low grade tbh. It was nicer than caesars
Awesome video. nice microphone too. That's an Electro Voice RE20. Sweet! I was in radio for 20 years (morning show on top 40 radio) and most radio stations and production rooms have those. Anyway, excellent video!! great hacks! Thanks for sharing.
The explanation of the rating system is pretty good for slots but it's not the same for table games. The amount you buy in isn't really considered in your rating for table games. It's all about your average bet and time at the table. That is used to compute the theoretical loss that you mentioned.
Good video but definitely don't agree with putting MGM Grand in the top category. Caesars is with recognized as a more premium property. Have you stayed in their newer rooms? Can't believe you put Caesar's and Excalibur in the same group
I used to vacay in LV 2x a year for 10 years till I quit. It's an all day ordeal getting there from the east coast. Drive to the airport find a place in long term parking get the shuttle to the terminal, check your bag at curbside then a long trek to TSA and go thru that then another trek to your gate an hour before your flight before you finally board the plane, It's a 5hr flight then you deplane and another long trek to get your bag and shuttle to the rental car place find your car and drive to your hotel and wait in another line to check in before you finally collapse in your room. Then you have to do it in reverse all over again going home plus losing 3 hours with the time zones. I can drive to Atlantic City door to door in 3hrs flat in my own comfort. AC ain't LV but it'll do.
Very good Vegas tips video!! I’ve stayed at resorts world it’s actually not too bad but it does require walking for sure :) I considered that my exercise for the day 😂
I don’t think NYNY deserves to be in same class as Excalibur. Luxor either. NYNY was just renovated so this maybe old but they have done a big renovation and food options are great and affordable. Luxor is far south but I love it. Always have also recently updated and the hosts are massively generous. Excalibur should be down there with circus circus. Rio was bought out and supposedly doing massive revival soon. Still wouldn’t go now. Harrahs is clean but so mid strip which is a plus. I gave up a corner suite on aria for a 1000 sq ft studio suite at NYNY just because my food credit was 600 vs 300 at aria. 300 at aria is not going to go far. NYNY has all new beds, got rid of carpet in rooms. They didn’t do much to bathrooms but they serve the purpose.
Caesars in the mid range category? I think that should be at the luxury section...and Ben, please update us on your status for Caesars if it got updated to Diamond. Thanks
I stayed at circus circus, because price and convention distance, and someone told me people hate on it because it's old, but it's not that bad. I can handle cosmetics, but it was old infrastructure, like a lack of ability to bedside charge a phone because it was made before cell phones, but yet the landlines can't do outgoing calls either, I had no hot water and later no water at all, due to a plumbing issue. but hey it wasn't that bad...Okay well I did have my phone legit stolen there....and yeah a lil creepy. I'd stay there again if the convention were close again, but it would be easier to convince me to stay at resorts world now (with roommates to split costs, still more expensive, but that's why I was less convinced before my circus circus stay)
I don’t know, I got her from a rescue shelter, they said they don’t really know the background of them since people just drop them off there, often anonymously. It might just be this footage making her look special, in real life just looks like a normal cat
@@TheCreditShifu well your kitty is beautiful. She may be fully or partial Abyssinian because they have that dark caramel color to them and the larger eyes like she has. It’s a rare breed. I only know this because I my friends has two of them and they are stunning!
As a semi-frequent Vegas traveler, another reason to plan your trip thoroughly (so you don't rent a car unless you really, really need one) is that: A) Every property on the strip charges for parking. They didn't used to in the Before Times, but one casino started to, and the rest followed suit. If you can get it comped, great...otherwise, why spend the money? B) The rental cars in Vegas are off airport. There's a shuttle that will take you there, along w/ a lot of other people, so you will FOR SURE need to allow extra time, especially when dropping your car off to get to your flight. C) Vegas traffic - it's heavy around the Strip, nearly always, and easy to get stuck in if you don't know your way around. The highways around the Strip get backed up easily as well. D) Vegas has ZERO TOLERANCE for DWI/OVI etc. You may think you're the smoothest operator ever once you've imbibed, just know that when they catch you they will drop a dump truck full of anvils on you. (You can also get caught speeding like anywhere else, and being out-of-state/tourist is no excuse.) Like Ben said, if you're staying on the Strip, you can walk pretty much most places and you don't need to pay for a rental car. Taxis/lyft/uber - you can get these, however I would plan ahead. Given the traffic in Vegas you will be lucky to get one exactly when you want it, and some drivers will not take you far outside of the Strip (like if want to go to one of the parks Ben mentioned) because it's not worth it for them. Some properties can have shuttles; these mainly go to certain routes and don't really deviate from them, given the traffic/demand for them, etc.
You not into gambling? I love playing a bit of blackjack and craps. And for a video about Las Vegas, it would be incomplete without talking about it, that is what people go to Vegas for
This is the best Las Vegas ad I’ve ever watched. I’m genuinely booking a Vegas stay now lol
I live in Vegas and the players card thing is an old tip ..
Agreed
I was just watching your other Vegas videos and researching Las Vegas travel tips yesterday, so this is great timing!

This is a great video and very informative for anyone who wants to do vegas the right way 😅 Love las vegas 👌
Omg we will be there April 7th for a few days! Maybe we will luck out and see you there during that time. Thanks for the tips!
Great video thanks.. I am planning my summer trip now.

Can’t wait to use these travel hacks!
Is the Venetian still part of IHG? I thought IHG sold that brand/connection?
i have the Same ??
Does IHG free night still work at the Venetian? Thx for great video! 😊
Marriott guy here. Are there any hotels on the strip partnered with Marriott? I know cosmo used to be
Its still part of autograph collection, even though it was bought by MGM
If your a veteran show them when getting a players card. MGM and Caesar’s allow vets to park for free with that card.
Doses not help with air fare! Sun Country still had cheaper flights than going threw both mGm or the other one
Caesars in the mid range category? I think that should be at the luxury section...and Ben, please update us on your status for Caesars if it got updated to Diamond. Thanks
The only thing I would disagree with is some of his ratings for the casino hotels.
This is hella smooth
April or May? Are you going to do a meetup? 🙂
We may do, still thinking about it
Great tips!
Hello, what is the best option, leaving our passport in our hotel safe or always having it with us? Thanks !
Well if you need it for ID take it with you, otherwise if you are staying at a reputable hotel, I don’t think its a problem to leave in the safe
does the wyndham card still allow an onramp to the status match merry go round? in May2023?
It gets you Wyndham and Caesars, but Caesars to MGM gold is now dead
April 3-7 :) see you there!
I go to Vegas often and I never gamble. I spend all of my money on restaurants and nightclubs
Right, there is a lot of great stuff in Vegas that is not gambling

Can you bring your cat in Las Vegas black jack table ?
good video
I'm going in April
I’ve done nothing but lost but never see comps lol
You never ranked horseshoe lol
Best tip to save money... dont gamble you lose more money gambling than earning points from gabling and such

not if you are staying on the strip and just going to places close by
