I love the Excalibur, the tournament and the bee gees are so much fun, the buffet is really good for the money and the spa is fantastic. Rooms are mediocre and cheap but the place is in a good location and spent little time in the room. Love being across from my favorite bar the Nine Fine Irish Men. Johnny Rockets and Starbucks round out a good overall value hotel.
Just a suggestion, would be helpful to have a timestamp for each hotel if somebody wants to go back and just look at a particular one again. Thanks as I always enjoy your videos.
My brother and I jumped off the stratosphere in 2017! It was so much fun!!! If it wasn’t so dang expensive, we would’ve gone right back up and done it again.
The last time we went to Vegas we were on more of a budget than our previous trip and we stayed at the El Cortez. Although the room was very dated it was clean and comfortable enough for as little time as we spent there. Our TV was not connected but they did take care of it right away. Housekeeping didn't come our 2nd day so we did have to request at the front desk that they come to bring fresh towels and things. I loved the casino! Really nice vibe. Great location & they had free shuttle service to the airport. I wish we had known that when we flew in so we would have saved the Uber cost. Overall though, I would stay there again!
I'm a little late to the party...The Rio is redoing there rooms and from what I have seen on other post. They are looking pretty good. Its great to see they are doing an overhaul. Loved it in the 90s. Such a fun place off the strip.
I stayed at The Flamingo on 7-1-24 and my room looked nothing like! I agree with you on that bed! It was incredibly soft! It reminded me of a air mattress going flat!!!! I would love to see you review, The Grand.... The Plaza, The Golden Nugget and The D!!!!
Golden Nugget!! That's where I honeymooned with my ex-husband in '96. It was a beautiful room and a gorgeous place at the time. No idea what it's like now, nearly 30 years later. Oh my goodness how time does fly.
@@marlahernandez6994 I remember that from going into casinos in the '80's and 90's. I think they realized they had no control over everyone's phones after that point in time.

I stood at the Strat in one of the updated rooms in July 2023. The air condition unit rattled and it kept me up all night, I'm sorry that I didn't request a new room. The pool area was most def hot AF but otherwise the Strat was ok.
Great video I love you guys. My family and I are visiting Las Vegas June 9th 2024 to June 14th 2024. I'm always watching you guys videos for Tips. We're staying at The Linq.
The best meal I ever had in Vegas was at Top of the World. But that was like 10 years ago. The shrimp scampi is something I still dream about 😂 Maybe I’ll have to give the Strat a go sometime. Thanks for the review!
Great compilation. Have stayed at Excalibur, Rio, Harrah's and Circus Circus. All were fine at the time but this was over 20 years ago. Usually stay at Flamingo due to the location but even their "renovated" rooms need some updates and better cleaning. I was at Flamingo a couple of weeks ago, had $225 free play. Played different slots including Mighty Cash. The biggest win on the free play was on Mighty cash, over $216. After playing the entire $225, walked away with $326 cash in my purse. It was a great night thanks to Mighty Cash. Love Dirt Dog. My fav is Snoop's Dogg, so good.
I stayed at the Excalibur in November for my birthday and my room was not bad. Plus, they cleaned it every day. Since I saved money staying there, I could catch an Usher show, saw several other shows and went to some nice restaurants. Once the room was clean, I didn't mind that it was a cheaper hotel. My trip was not about staying in the room. But the food at the Italian you ate at in the Excalibur wasn't all that good to me. It was just ok except for the salad. I perferred the restaurants outside the hotel.

I've found the only hotel that keeps me happy is Park MGM because it's non-smoking and it's not gigantic. At the same time, the off strip properties like Ellis Island, Palms or Four Queens have way lower limits and higher payout percentages. I hope more places become non-smoking in the future. Great review, it’s nice to see you look at lower end/budget hotels. Even the cheap places deserve a review and you give them all a try and a fair review. One thing you mention , that I just cannot believe in Vegas, are the long check in lines. If you go to a Best Western or Holiday Inn, it takes maybe 2 minutes to check in and pay !!! Why in the world do they take like 10-15 minutes to check in people in Vegas ???? That’s why the lines are so long, and it really sucks after a long flight, and you want to get out and have fun, to start your Vegas trip standing in a long line. Typical wait times for check ins at most major Vegas hotels are at least a hour. (Now I have noticed higher end hotels have faster check in, I don't know why that is....) Vegas, get with it and speed up your check in or expand mobile check in terminals. Don't you want people to be in your casino losing money rather than standing in line ?????
Hello, would be lovely if you could give prices when eating at restaurants, we will be visiting from the UK in April, it helps when budgeting for the holiday, loving all the info
I stayed at the El Cortez last October with my long distance boyfriend and we really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I could note is the not so private bathroom situation. We knew about it beforehand and decided we could handle it lol we just took breaks to gamble to give the other person privacy when they had to go :P

Honestly as someone who goes to Vegas at least 5 times a year the best hotel for free rooms, easy to get in and out, free parking and the quietest casino is Silver Sevens Hotel on Paradise and Flamingo. It's a walk from the strip but the tower rooms are nice. For business or just to chill definitely Silver Sevens. Awesome smaller pool. But If you want the big casinos then Silver Sevens is not the place.
Thanks for this video, guys! Would you prefer Excalibur over Circus Circus? We are planning a trip in April and are looking for an affordable hotel close to the Tmobile Arena. So far, we have our plans for Excalibur. 😊
I’ve been to that Marci Gras hotel and it was horrible and the room we were in had a horrible smell idk what it was, it was disgusting. It’s close to the monorail what it’s not a good place to stay never stayed there again and the Rita was bad also..,
What room was that that you had at Excalibur, seems like every time we do the auto check in we get a view of the rooftop air conditioners. How are you able to secure such a great room, and I mean location not condition?
I loved my stay at the Flamingo in 2019. I had one of the suites that overlooks the strip. It was very clean, and it saddens me that the room you got was as filthy as it is.
Coming to Vegas for a 10 day stay soon at Planet Hollywood regular King room can you review that hotel and room type for me 2024: What are the pros and cons? Love yall
I wasn’t impressed with Paris at all. We had to keep asking for clean towels and our room never got cleaned. Housekeeping was really overwhelmed it was so busy. June 2022
Wait...if they charge $13 a night... I wonder...if you could just "valet" your car...and tip them your normal tip...they surely wouldn't give you a time limit considering you could be gambling...
I'm not crazy about a video that assesses whether you should stay there based on the cheapest room. At the Flamingo, the towers are being renovated in phases. Obviously the cheapest rooms are in the unrenovated areas of the least desirable, older sections of the hotel. This is why you have to be careful of 3rd party booking sites offering very cheap rooms at major properties. They are these rooms. Flamingo has some fantastic recently renovated rooms at a very fair price for center strip.
I'm enjoying this show so much, like all of them!! Y'all remind me of myself, Tanya I love to dance and act crazy like you, because I love to make people laugh and get tickled at my own self!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
A hidden gem in Vegas was the Red Roof Inn on Paradise road .It was always clean ,check in was quick ,no resort fees ,free continental breakfast . You had a microwave and fridge in the room .CVS was close by to get food .Now it's an apartment complex .
Greetings peeps ! Oye I have to say I’d rather be booked into a correctional facility then stay at Oyo , Rio or Mardi Gras . Just plain gross . The rest of them are barely mediocre except for maybe the El Cortez . When I travel to Vegas I prefer the higher end resorts ..Wynn Aria Bellagio etc. My fav mid tier is the underrated Mandalay Bay . Fun video …enjoyed it. You guys are definitely adventurous for sleeping at some of these nightmares lol 😎😎😎
Stayed at the Golden Nugget over New Years. OMG never again. 1 of 4 elevators were working. The room was noisy, and dirty. Bed bug bites! Oh and the temperature control in the room did not work. Ugh stay away

You are so wonderful. Thank you. We appreciate that!
If the rooms are sketchy you can bet the kitchens are too so I’m not eating in their restaurant. Ew.
The rooms at The Rio have been totally remodeled. I recently stayed there Dec 2023. This has to be an old video of the Rio.
We did not stay in a renovated room, that is correct. Thanks for watching!
Oh Tanya, if only you weren't so shy! 💜🤣
lol, thanks so much!
Thanks for sharing! Have an amazing day! Cheers
You’re very welcome Lawrence! Thanks!!
Would you recommend the Golden Nugget or Sahara?
❤you guys! You guys are super informative and I thank you for that 😊
Thanks so much, we really appreciate it!!
Wait...if they charge $13 a night... I wonder...if you could just "valet" your car...and tip them your normal tip...they surely wouldn't give you a time limit considering you could be gambling...
So I'm guessing this shot of the Rio was done several months before any of the room renovations.
We were not in a renovated room. Thanks for watching!
@@TurnItUpWorld got to keep up my watching of one of my favorite channels
Bed bug test first
I'm not crazy about a video that assesses whether you should stay there based on the cheapest room.
The Rio Yikes 😬
Thanks Christine for watching, we are hoping that the Rio improves with the renovations going on!
Hello 👋🏽 TIUW😊
Hello Christine! 😊
Harrahs should
Not have gotten rid of the oyster bar!!!
We did enjoy the Oyster Bar at Harrah’s, thanks for sharing!
Omg, the bed tests, I love it when you do that. You guys crack me up.
Thanks so much Doris, we are glad you enjoy the bed tests! Have you stayed at any of these Las Vegas hotels?
Not gonna lie. For a while I was worried exactly what the bed test may entail.
😂👏🤔
When you were in Circus Circus, I was wondering what you did to your eyebrows haha.. I then realized it was your drop down sun shades.
lol, yes, the clip-on shades!! Have you stayed at Circus Circus before?
@@TurnItUpWorld no have not stayed there and don't see us doing that. Seniors here, not our choice to stay there.
I'm enjoying this show so much, like all of them!! Y'all remind me of myself, Tanya I love to dance and act crazy like you, because I love to make people laugh and get tickled at my own self!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
What site/apps do you use to book these hotels
A hidden gem in Vegas was the Red Roof Inn on Paradise road .It was always clean ,check in was quick ,no resort fees ,free continental breakfast . You had a microwave and fridge in the room .CVS was close by to get food .Now it's an apartment complex .
Rio is a GREAT hotel
You guys are so much fun! Do you ever get to Florida?
Thanks so much, we love visiting Florida but may not get back to Florida until next winter!
Have you stayed at the Sahara? If yes how was it? Thank you
i like her she is fun and cool i enjoy waching both of them
Thanks so much!
The 50th floor is definitely haunted
Spooky! Why do you say that?
Ask for apple salad with nuts it the best for eat
OYO elevators, hallways and rooms had not been clean since OYO purchase the hotel.
Id rather stay downtown
Greetings peeps ! Oye I have to say I’d rather be booked into a correctional facility then stay at Oyo , Rio or Mardi Gras . Just plain gross . The rest of them are barely mediocre except for maybe the El Cortez . When I travel to Vegas I prefer the higher end resorts ..Wynn Aria Bellagio etc. My fav mid tier is the underrated Mandalay Bay . Fun video …enjoyed it. You guys are definitely adventurous for sleeping at some of these nightmares lol 😎😎😎
We like Golden Nugget.
Stayed at the Golden Nugget over New Years. OMG never again. 1 of 4 elevators were working. The room was noisy, and dirty. Bed bug bites! Oh and the temperature control in the room did not work. Ugh stay away
Do you two live in hotels year round?
it was the swag walk for me 😅😂
I’m disappointed. You didn’t mention how much your burgers cost and I couldn’t figure out if you won on the slots. Not your usual!
if you love the bed test part. LIKE THIS VID
