DJI Mini 2 Drone Surfing Footage Burleigh Heads Wednesday March 2nd 2022
Apologies surfers, for not getting more shots with waves ridden but the distance the waves were breaking from the rocks made it difficult to keep the little Mini 2 in line of sight.
This is the first time I tried a Circular Polarising Filter from Banggood.
I'm really not impressed with the results of the filter, particularly as the Sun is lower in the sky earlier in the video. IMHO It doesn't even do a good job filtering glare off the water in the centre of the frame. The vignette is also really annoying.

Can you please tell me what you used to edit the video? Also, after a year, what are your feelings on the Mini 2? I am typically a stills photographer but looking at getting a Mini 2. Thanks.

I use Shortcut for editing. It's free open source software and has excellent features with lots of online tutorials. The Mini 2 is fun and easy to fly. For photos it has 48 megapixel splicing or 4 x 12 megapixel photos. I like to shoot in 2.8k at 60fps for smoother video.

Thanks, I wasn't getting the best Surfing footage so I added some shots of the beautiful National Park etc.
