This video contains gameplay from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch in HD. Today I react and give my first impressions to the world record fastest speedrun for BotW. This speedrun was done by Player 5 who beat the Any% record of 23:51! The speedrun for Breath of the Wild is filled with crazy and insane moments. From glitching through walls, flying through the air, and instantly beating ganon! This video showcases some of the best from my first time watching the world record speedrun. Hope you enjoy!

The reason why he was so calm about it is because he already had the world record he just beat his time by 2 seconds.
TRUE! I thought it was funny I get more excited when I win a game of smash bros online than when he gets a world record lol
I remember when I purposely broke the game to see if I could speedrun and then I instantly gave up when I was trash at actually doing the glitches-
I’ve learned it turns out the glitches are just as much effort to do as just playing normally 😂
Someone can make an impressively fast video but the amount of effort it takes to learn and master the glitches to be able to do so is pretty much just the same amount you’d put in beating it properly
Clipping through the front of the shrines is much harder because the door has layers to it and you have to re-equip your shield and shield surf again at some near frame perfect timing to get through

I remember watching your speed run for botw I found it so funny how much you struggled with the glitches, but I believe you can get the speedrun world record. 😁

11:30 you can do it but when you walk to far, you'll spawn back. there is also a gltch called new game+ and if you do that right you can spawn in a new safe file with the paraglider (and some other stuff) and you can skip the great plateau, this takes a long time for setup so doing the great plateau is faster

yeah you can do that but once you walk to far in a wrong spot you'll spawn back on the plateau

the new hero, masha, is a healer that relies on crits to heal
think back to fiora in xenoblade 2, she was the exact same thing, and her dps was insane.
masha’s chain order also increases crit damage (or is it frequency) by 25%
and the outfits are cool

A speedrun where you can use any method to "beat the game" as fast as possible.
Any% means to beat the game as fast as possible with whatever amount of the game completed as necessary.
basically the other people already answered it. But speedruns have different categories. Any% is one of the possible categories people speedrun
