You don't know what you are talking about with the Hawks. Disaster of a season is not true and Trae Young has been playing amazing lately. Over the last month he is putting up stats almost as good as Doncic. That with great percentages and amazing assists too. In a few years Young and Doncic could both be super stars. If Trae can catch up to Luka and the Hawks get a good player with the Mavs first round pick, the trade will have been a win for both teams. That is absolutely possible based on the way Trae is playing lately, his work ethic and the amount he has already improved so fast. Trae is not as good as Luka yet but he could be soon. As far as the Hawks, they got off to a slow start but having been playing amazing offensive basketball lately. The keep improving every game and getting better on defense is all they need to win a lot of games. The Hawks are looking really bright right now. Could be a top team as soon as next year depending on how the draft goes. My prediction is that as long as the Hawks get a top 6 pick and the Mavs pick is decent, they will the playoffs and win at least the first series. Maybe even more. They are so underrated right now.

The Lakers are still rebuilding and even with Lebron's help they will either miss the playoffs or fall to the Warriors in the first round, and even the combo of AD/Lebron isn't a 100% guarantee of a championship dynasty as the Lakers still need to build the bench players deeper than current roster can support. So, we've got another 8 days before the deadline and then the All-Star break, so let's see what actually happens now or waits till the off-season.
