AAHAHAHAHAH TRUEEE
He's thinking "I could show them licks😒"
Didn’t saw the dog untill I read your comment. Now I can’t unsee it😂
@@cheflano3001same 😂😂
He just doesn't want to miss out on any action. Just in case 😂
Dog: This is a lick too 4:48
Thank you! I love learning about licks and riffs from you and your dog. How amazing that just after you first said "What is a lick?", your wonderful dog stuck his tongue out and licked his upper lip and nose!
That was same thought of mine!)))
😬
Dog is too naughty bro
LICKS: 1:00
RIFFS: 5:39
Tysm!! I swear 3 quarters of the vid is just him talking about licks😭😭
Love the dog! He looks so relaxed and content!
Sir, your channel thought me guitar since 5 years ago and thank you for everything..I improved a lot...
6:46 this was the tune Jimmy kept humming manically in Better Call Saul!! It was so funny how later the actual tune played for the ending credits! 7:01 and this tune reminded me dearly of Texhnolyze's beautiful and hearttouching ending guitar theme!!!
Who else goes straight into lick n riff when u see the notification 😁 thank you so much safdafari (if thats what ur name is spelled) for your wonderful classes
I do! 😊
His name is ASSAF LEVAVY.
The doggie did couple licks two. I was entertained paying attention at the very small muscular movements on the doggie's face reacting to him playing the guitar. 😄
...the dog looks like how I've been feeling also the explanation is detailed but simple i really liked it.
Lick'N'Riff simply means the best guitar teacher in the world
Thank you so much Sir 🙏🏻 I didn't knew about the riffs and licks before you explains very well in this video 😊 I got it sir
You explained it beautifully, thank you.
“This is a lick” is gonna be in my head now
Great video and educational material!
Best explanation I have ever get.
epic. when you explained the riff the licks fell in place perfectly. thanks
Love your explanation big bro, thanks for the educating!
Thanks sir
Think of that extra note as the period.
You can use the same analogy for other forms of punctuation as well!
Meaningful combination of licks are riffs 🤞... Correct me if m wrong
That was helpful 👍
2 minutes in and I just noticed the cool af dog chillin haha
This is a lick
This is a lick
This is a lick

6:28 :o lesson when?
Very interesting & informative...
So how come at 3:10 you said the bend itself is also a lick, but in the first example you give when you bend the note at the very end you say that’s just a note?
Amazing explanation! The dog is just a superstar.
Great explanation! Thanks!
Thank you for the explanation ☺it was helpful.
The greatest guitar 'phrase' is in the song, 'Inside Out' by Lee Greenwood.
It comes up at 2:52.
Tell me I'm wrong.
Danke schön habe sehr viel gelernt von dir
thanks for this.
Brilliant!
Thanks for lesson👍 I practiced guitar for a 22 months every day for 5⏳hours+. Observe my progress🚀

Please sir make a fingerstyle cover of Titanic - The Dream Scene or Unwilling To Leave and Unable To Stay 🙏 It's the most beautiful music I've ever heard in my life and is totally different from Celine Dion's - My Heart Will Go On. It's my humble request, please do it ❤️🙏 Lots of love, from India ❤️
Thank you. Another brilliant lesson 👍
Explained at last
Crystal clear , thanks :-)
Just what I needed right now 👍
I understood thank you !!!
Great video. Thanks.
So music to words, a lick is like pontuantion or a way of saying a sentence the best? And a riff would be the whole sentence itself since is composed by licks to give dynamic and feeling? 😂
so, you mean a riff has some licks ? is that what you are saying ? waiting for your answer if you would please
I've been practicing and practicing and still my girlfriend tells me I don't know how to lick.
That would be a RIFT.
Bruh 😂
Thanks So much , you r best
Very clear but I have a question when you bend the coords would that be called a melody or a vibrato
i might be late, but just in case tho :
melody is when you have few notes combined.
vibrato is a technique to make ur string sounds "vibrate"
Your dog is the star of the show.
That doge is mood
Is the bass part in "Under Pressure" by Queen is a lick?
Finally👌👌👌👍
5:33 Isn't that the intro to one of your band's songs?
5:38
5 mins in and I still haven't found out what a riff is...patience is running out. I got what a lick was 5 minutes ago. Yes I got the point of what a fucking lick is dammit. So what's the difference between a phrase and a riff since they are both made of licks?
I'd explain, but I don't have the patience to do so. Sorry. Just finish the video like everyone else, and then maybe I'll get back to you.
If I feel like it.
Nice❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for explaining riff and lick Soo well!!! At least I can describe the exact part of an electric guitar theme I'm trying to find the genre of!! Specifically, the sudden high-pitched licks in Seishun Kyousoukyoku by Sambomaster and in xxxholic opening 2 which make them extra groovy! I suppose it is called electric funk!
how to make a riff use the scale? or what?
Pun intended: 5:14 it all depends on how you LICK at it !
So canon in d is a riff.
So could you call Shredding "Compound Licks"?
your dog don't look thrilled by your lesson.
You could almost say a Lick is a very short solo!!!
So the lick is what you hear every time you watch Spongebob Squarepants.
