The first thing I learned when starting out was not to mess with the Bondo to much because before you know it it, it would start setting up. Don’t be surprised to do a few coats either. When sanding, let the sand paper do the work and I would recommend using a block of some kind. I use to use 2x4 pieces or plywood. Sometimes would cut to a size I needed for a specific spot. Guide coat also helps a ton. Even just to get it good enough ha. I used spray paint in a pinch but does load up the paper. Keep it up man!
@@andrewglaviano8743 i just sanded it all down today.. didnt turn out bad actually its smooth.. needs refilled in a few low spots.. but it turned out nice actually
Good deal. I remember back in my day I used bondo on a hood scoop I wanted to mold on, it cracked everywhere because I was uninformed that fiberglass works better for my particular application. I learned the hard way, I'm glad you didn't
