Hi Kelly, You really accomplished a lot in this video! Of course, you’re only 32 and you stayed up until midnight. I’m a senior woman of 78. I can only do one of these things per day. BUT we have no kiddos in the house and it hardly ever snows here in South Central Texas. We have one cat. I have only 3 loads of laundry per week, fewer dishes, and hubby vacuums, helps with cooking & takes out the trash & recycling. What we have in common is we both love a clean, organized, tidy home. We both like to decorate for the holidays AND I am a native Buckeye. - born in Cleveland in 1946. ❤️❤️

Love your videos! As a senior dog mom here I would love to chime in on what you were talking about as far as the hardwood floors versus the carpets. I can tell you firsthand because this is my second senior dog that the hardwood floors are so much more difficult for them and when they get older and they start to struggle with their movement, the carpet is what helps them the most. I have a 15-year-old bichon right now and she struggles a lot and I have hardwood floors throughout my entire house. I have had to purchase tons of small area rugs and put them down everywhere for her to help her get around better. If it wasn’t for those small area rugs, she would not be able to get around the hardwood is very challenging for her. I hope that helps❤

The biggest thing I'm looking forward to this spring is finally getting my home back in order... decluttering, spring cleaning and moving the furniture into a new configuration. I live in a studio and placement is tricky. I usually rearrange twice a year, but for the last few years I've had no motivation and get emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausted. I'm starting to come out of this funk and I'm finding my motivation again. It could be a perimenopause thing, I don't know, but knowing I'm coming out on the other side of it is a great feeling. I've just noticed your flowers in the kitchen, one of the things I'm hoping to add throughout my home is pops of color and fresh flowers, it's the little things that can make your day. 😊

I made Mason jar sconces for our room and hung them on either side of our TV. They have flower pics and then fairy lights, so it looks like a jar of fireflies. It is soo relaxing and peaceful, I just love it! Plus, making it myself, saved us soo much, because those things can be pricy.

You could possibly try dog socks or there are also paw pads that you can get and put on the pads of their feet to give them better traction. You could also consider some kind of stair tread type option to install on your steps or on a flat surface you can lay down the rubberized grippy shelf liner or rubber flooring roll and then wash it when it gets dirty or simply replace it with a brand new roll. This could be laid down sort of like a sidewalk in the dog's most traveled paths. There is also an anti-slip spray that can be purchased online from places like Chewy that is anti-slip and designed for dogs. Or there is also a product called Musher's Secret Paw Protection Natural Dog Wax. Only you and your family know what your dog will tolerate and what will work best for their individual needs. Some dogs are okay with wearing non-slip boots while others won't tolerate it so maybe the padded flooring roll would be a better option. But there are definitely products available to help with this problem and to keep your dog safe and decrease the potential of slipping on the hardwood type floors.

Great video, I like our laurndry products in clear containers too. It helps to knowing how much you have and what you need. Have you thought about changing the side your dryer door is on! It's definitely a game changer and makes things so much easier. You can definitely put some carpet on the stairs that is safe for your fur baby but is also easier to clean

Do you already do joint supplements for your pup? If not, that might help. When our dog got older, we had to carry her down the stairs, but she was only like 13 lbs 😊
So right now we have him on an 11-1 multivitamin by Grateful Pawz that supports joints and skin health and it seems to be working really well for him 🙏🏻✨ and awww 13 pounds - what a baby! 🥰🐾 Balors 85 pounds so we may need to install one of those stair lifts to get him up and down the steps 😂

My friend suffers from seasonal dépression and she bought one of those lamps to have some sun and it helps her alot. On my end I feel exausted all the time, I think its the cold. Sleeping 9h00 à night is not normal for me. You seem to have so much positive energy. You are fun to watch.❤️🎀

When our dog got older, we had to carry her down the stairs, but she was only like 13 lbs 😊
So right now we have him on an 11-1 multivitamin by Grateful Pawz that supports joints and skin health and it seems to be working really well for him 🙏🏻✨ and awww 13 pounds - what a baby! 🥰🐾 Balors 85 pounds so we may need to install one of those stair lifts to get him up and down the steps 😂

@KHosbrook Hi Kelly, first thank you for getting back to me. Everyone is trying to get their stuff together and in the winter its harder. My friend suffers from seasonal dépression and she bought one of those lamps to have some sun and it helps her alot. On my end I feel exausted all the time, I think its the cold. Sleeping 9h00 à night is not normal for me. You seem to have so much positive energy. You are fun to watch.❤️🎀

From what I’ve heard they work really well in helping manage seasonal depression ✨✨ I thought about getting one for this winter and now I wish I had 😩 January & February always makes me feel so blah! 😑 and girl -same!
