I’ve been setting on the couch for todays with bronchitis and pneumonia and stumbled across your videos. I love bass fishing and live next to the Chattahoochee River on the Alabama side. I’ve never been fly fishing but after watching your videos for two days I’m stoked to jump into it. Great videos guys keep it up..

What an amazing film! It moved me beyond just an emotional high and rekindled a life of action. With six decades under my belt, I find myself reflecting on my youthful days-before the responsibilities of family and the necessity of accountability in business came along. I’ve been extremely blessed in my life to explore wild places like Alaska, all over North and South America, and even Africa, on outdoor adventures, simply enjoying the wildness, grandeur, beauty, and power that the outdoors holds. But like so many, I let life slowly take those moments and put them aside. This film, especially the ending with the "Call of the Wild" poem by Robert Service, touched a place in my soul I thought had long been forgotten. The incredible work in this film-from the stunning cinematography to the seamless editing-was top-shelf as always. You’ve outdone yourself again! For the first time, I’ve been able to show people and articulate why the outdoors means so much to me. Thank you for creating this. I've been a huge fan, but now I will be more than a fan. Your work and passion have reignited my outdoor spirit, and I’m planning new adventures and experiences because of the inspiration you’ve sparked! Many blessing and continued joy to you and the crew!

I booked a trip after the last video to All Alaska Outdoors, we went in July last year. To say it was epic would be a massive understatement. We will never forget the experiences. Dr Bob and his team are fabulous.

I've fished once or twice in my life, but I can't stop watching these videos. Y'all inspired me to reconnect with my old friends and join them on their fishing trips this year. I wish y'all many many years of health and prosperity, you've given me a new lens to view life with.
I have been an Alaska resident since I was 5 years old (20 years). I found fly fishing when I was 15 by a close friend of mine. Fly fishing to me has always brought me such peace and love for the outdoors. As I sit here watching this in Palmer Alaska I can't not be fulfilled with the joy and friend ships that fly fishing and the great state of Alaska has brought to people around the world.
This is one of my favorite fishing videos. I love the editing and it brings me back to my time where I lived in Kodiak Alaska, catching salmon, dollies, trout, etc.
Got back from All Alaska Outdoors last night. Had a wonderful time. Our fly out for silvers was weathered out but we caught the heck out of rainbows and dollies. Upper Kenai float fishing was on fire. Stopped and hiked up Russian River and caught rainbows one after the other. Was epic fishing. Lodge staff is just amazing and customer service is first rate. This video was the inspiration. Thank you.
I have to say this is my favorite Wild Fly video I have ever seen. The way the beauty of the area was captured was amazing and capturing Jessies thoughts, emotions and feelings throughout the video was perfect. I’m so happy he was the winner. His joy for what he was experiencing came through the camera and I was so happy for him. His enthusiasm, and gratitude and just good spirit was a part of why I really enjoyed the video. You guys are doing a fantastic job and only make me want to go out and fish more than I do.
This was an outstanding vid. I know I will never be able to do this with my son or grandson, but I feel I could feel the subscribers emotion of joy over this trip which made me feel maybe this would be the joy I would have. @ 71 I sit here in north Georgia learning how to fish these fish. Wow. Scotty I have been watching since you were at app. I’m an old dude that started fly fishing here in NC about the time you were in school. I’ve just gotten my guide license and started selling some flies. I can’t express how you and other like minded folks have given me the fire to follow my first love. Fishing has always been my way of disconnecting and connecting all at the same time with myself and nature. Jesse said it correctly that it is an emotional experience. Also, on an equipment note: what was the general rod/reel/line setup you guys were using for the silver salmon? Going to do some landlocked salmon fishing in Maine later this summer and planning to hit up Alaska maybe next year so was thinking about splurging on a new heavier weight streamer setup that i might get some use out of on both trips.
I went to high school in Nikiski,Alaska not too far away from Sterling. I loved watching you guys get after the fish on the Kenai and surrounding areas. I didn’t really start fishing until I moved away. I’m kicking myself right now. Fish it well. Scottie, Alex,Jesse and Will I’m glad you had you had a good time up there. Absolutely amazing video, from the videography to the editing to the choice of background music. That Robert Service poem was a powerful exclamation point to it. Also, on an equipment note: what was the general rod/reel/line setup you guys were using for the silver salmon? Going to do some landlocked salmon fishing in Maine later this summer and planning to hit up Alaska maybe next year so was thinking about splurging on a new heavier weight streamer setup that i might get some use out of on both trips.
I went to high school in Nikiski,Alaska not too far away from Sterling. I loved watching you guys get after the fish on the Kenai and surrounding areas. I didn’t really start fishing until I moved away. I’m kicking myself right now. Fish it well. Scottie, Alex,Jesse and Will I’m glad you had you had a good time up there. Giant rainbows in the Kenai river.

My wife thinks it’s crazy that I made such a good friend from RUclips. When you share a passion, in this case backpacking, it’s kinda easy especially if you like the same kind of challenging adventures! Been buddies for 5 years and done a dozen + trips with many more planned for the future! Yew!

This is such a high quality film. So crazy. The fishing is out of control, and the bear and scenery footage is worthy of a BBC documentary.
