In this session, we go over basic geometry preparation for CFD analyses using ANSYS SpaceClaim Direct Modeler. We demonstrate the functionalities of main tools in SpaceClaim for CFD geometry pre-processing. Some of the important steps that are covered include:
-Repairing an imported CAD model in SCDM
-Flow Volume Extraction from CAD for internal flow
-Creating enclosures around CAD for external flow
If you are a CFD beginner or interested in exploring a new tool to simplify your CFD pre-processing, this session will give you an introduction to ANSYS SpaceClaim Direct Modeler!

I loved your presentation but i want to ask that at 33:21 you change the position of rotor with respect to volute casing so it won't produce the desired result.
So please tell me how to fix this misalignment produce due to removing of interference.
Nice session... Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Really useful and clear explanation. Thanks ma'am
You are welcome 😊
how did she create this named selection for the holes?? i can only create a named selection on a surface...
Sir, I found some errors during volume extraction. The error is could not find seed dace on merge body. Please help me solve this issue.
How do I select faces behind faces? If I use cross section to hide stuff in front of the face I want to select, I can only click on the cross section grid. Im from Fusion360 where I can hide part of the part and select stuff behind it so I'm havng troubles to get used to SpaceClaim.
Awsome video and thanks for helping!
press shift or ctrl and and scoll up and down on the surface you wanne see. it is gonna emerge
May i get the geometry profile for dual diesel ic engine plz
Thanks a million
Thank you m
