I passed kidney stones twice. In each case, Tamsulosin made the process easier and much less painful. I am not a doctor, but I'm happy that Tamsulosin was prescribed to me (for short term use).
Although it is extremely seldom that I would consume alcohol, a friend of mine in the recent past, fainted outside of a friends house and fell and hit his head. Fortunately there were no injuries but they kept him in the hospital for one day. And what did he consume before he fell 3 or 4 Jim Beam beverages, mostly Jim Beam very little water. I have advised him.

@@ThinkYourHealth that’s quite a long list . Wouldn’t your average bph patient tend to have at least some of these comorbities? And if so many people are on these drugs, why isn’t there more out there about this “moderate association “. That seems very concerning .
Why does my husband keep fainting when he’s on Flomax? And he got high anxiety from it, he could not sleep, why? He doesn’t drink smoke or take any other drugs.

I've experienced consequences with holistic approach in the past and I have seen them too. I stopped using non-fluoride toothpaste as My teeth were on a more rapid decline using it. I still have most of them it's just that I'm paying for that emotionally now.

I've been on once daily .4 mg Tamsulosin for several months for treatment of BPH. while it has been highly effective in helping with urine flow I initially had very real problems with low blood pressure. so my doctor switched me to every other day dosing and that helped. The two worst side effects I have experienced are a loss of energy and very sensitive teeth that make chewing meat very difficult. Within just a few days of starting Tamsulosin if I attempted even a short 1 mile walk I had to stop every 1/10 of a mile and rest. My muscles just didn't seem to want to work! It wasn't that I felt sleepy tired, it was just that my muscles were not able to work properly. Initially I also experienced a fairly severe allergic reaction to this drug with sneezing, itchy red palms, and vomiting and diarrhea but that only happened once. Eventually I decided to stop taking Tamsulosin and within a few days I could hike without any problem and my sensitive sore teeth went away. Trouble is that within 7 days my urinary problems returned. Any suggestions?

This made me pass out and the ejaculation was dry. It also gave me insomnia. I stopped taking it.
Any other alternatives medicine except flomax o tamsulosin for prostatiis

My only blood pressure med is for low pressure; as low as 60 for the top number. Don't think it is just the Tamsulosin.
