Thanks for this video you help me a lot I wondering why I don't have anything on my arm rest like everyone on my Jaguar XF 3.0 Supercharged
You’re welcome, I’m not sure but some models have them in different locations.
Thanks for posting. I have a 2013 XJL AWD. Used the attachment from the trunk as you demonstrated-- gave it a little pull/traction and locked it "fully open", but didn't feel a give and was still unable to get into neutral. The wire also bent a little when "putting it back in park" and removing. Battery dead and motor is non-functional. Hard to tell if parking brake engaged with a dead battery. Any tips? It was towed to my house on a flatbed tow truck with winch, but now I need to roll it. thanks!
Sorry for the late response. Chances are the electronic parking brake is stuck on. You can try using a jump pack to get power to the vehicle to release the brake
Hey Chris, did you ever figure that out I am having the same problem
@@lud9757 man, I honestly can't remember, but probably somehow got power and disengaged the electronic parking brake. Nightmare/long story..ended up trading it in at Carmax and walking away. good luck!
Wait.....WAIT.....so you.mean to tell me...the tool they had already built into the center console of the car of previous models....is now a separate piece you have to access under the hood? Who the.....nope...not going to rage. Not today.
😂 they’re constantly changing things on cars. It’s very annoying! I don’t understand why these engineers can’t just keep the release in one location.
@@TowMan127 And it was such a great location. I popped open the usual place....Its not there....Oooookay....Maybe its like some Range Rovers. Pop open the cup holder.....Nothing....So I look on your channel and as soon as I saw the tool....instant rage lol
Is that for tow and so the battery have to be charged need to get mine to dealership?
Yea to tow it. If your key is giving u a problem place the key in front of the dash to the left of the steering wheel until the car recognizes the key fob.
@@TowMan127 how long does it take to recognize the fob
If the car has power than not long. Move it around he dash
Is that what it shows in the owners manual
muddin sumbitch I didn’t check the owners manual but this is how it’s done
any idea where to get this tool?
Ramez Melli if the vehicle doesn’t have it you can check a local junkyard
also does this tool has any part number?
Ramez Melli or you can check eBay. The dealer might have it but it might be too expensive
@@TowMan127 Thanks, but couldn't find it at any local junkyard, even I asked my local dealer as well, also it's not available on eBay.....
@@TowMan127 im in Dubai and the local dealer has no parts for AWD trim since my car is US imported
