Lyrics
Un, deux, trois
Bang, bang, bang
Feathers, I'm plucking feathers
One by one, by one
No more skylarking, around my head
Your information
But there's no hiding, behind moulting feathers
On the plane, on my brain, 'bout to do the sho'
40k contract, take it out the do'
Dice, symbolise my life, roll 'em on the flo'
From your grubby hands, as you hand the grand stand
You live a shitty life, we live a bon, bon vie
Hotter than the book, while we watch the tv
Think you got us fooled, ooh never again
First time, shame on me, second time, your time will end
No way, bang your dead, here's your silhouette
Je te plumerai la, tête
Je te plumerai la, tête
Bang your dead, alouette, here's your silhouette
Je te plumerai la, tête
Je te plumerai la, tête
No way, no, (the clock) it's ticking forward
No way, it's just a cruel, cruel world
Cruel world is fittin', they got us all hittin'
With late night divisions, and lab app decisions
But based with decisions, to fight a fricassée
And you've clearly decided, (you) know how to handle me
Difficile, imbecile, is it fake, is it real
Are we dying on our feet, are we trying in our sleep
There's a rumour goin' 'round, 'bout the suits runnin' town
If you look into the sky, them birds fly high, high, high
Numbers, you got that number
You're looking outwards, and don't see the big picture
Over your shoulder, you'll get no last words
Because it's too late, you've clipped your own wings (your own wings)
No way, bang your dead, here's your silhouette
Je te plumerai la, tête
Je te plumerai la, tête
Bang your dead, alouette, here's your silhouette
Je te plumerai la, tête
Je te plumerai la, tête
We're never gonna, believe in, the stories, that you're weavin'
We're never gonna, believe in, the stories, that you're weavin'
We're never gonna, believe in, the stories, that you're weavin'
We're believin' in the proof, we're believin' in the truth
We're believin' in each other, not you, you, you
Stories (you with the tall tales), how many stories (so many tall tales)
We climb the structure (you scale the ladder)
You build it higher (you make us madder)
We take our aim (so now we're bearin' off)
You perch above your nest (_ in your charms)
The stories in your head (it's a crazy bald head)
That's what got you dead
No way, bang your dead, here's your silhouette
Je te plumerai la, tête
Je te plumerai la, tête
Bang your dead, alouette, here's your silhouette
Je te plumerai la, tête
Je te plumerai la, tête
Un, deux, trois
No one ever does it like that anymore
Bang, bang, bang
When feathers fly, you deny everything (alouette)
Un, deux, trois
No one ever does it like that anymore
Bang, bang, bang (alouette)
When feathers fly, you deny everything yo
Still listening in 2024! Reminds me of happy times in the early 2010's.
yeaa but this version Bang Bang Bang (U-Tern's Disco Dub) so most dancing
same~!!!
kinda glad this one didn’t blow up to the extent of uptown funk because it feels more like a cool secret
the 2010s did a good job on bringing back the 80's sound. Hopefully the 2020s bring back the 90's
"Secret" with 9.3M veiws
@@lucamcardle729 i know it's no secret at all haha, I just meant it in a sense that if you compare the way uptown funk blew up to the way this blew up, it does feel more like a little hidden treasure
@@lucamcardle729 Uptown funk has 4B views.... I'd say this is a little secret considering the earth's population is 7B and this isn't even 1B
@@K4OSS_ kinda annoying and satisfying at the same time 😂
This song’s been in my head at random times for the last 9 years and I’ve only found it just now🥴
Mi head tooo .. last heard it 2011 .. and now im watching no strings attached..

Same here...... I just love this song

Literally same, I typed the lyrics "time is ticking toward, no way"to find it 😂
13 years and still nothing better in this style out there.
I love how this sounds like it's from the 60s, 80s, and 2000s simultaneously
Totally see what you mean - kinda Motown-ish beat in the chorus, 80s synths, 2000's vocals and production...it's fab!
Spot on! That's why this song is timeless!
60s?
Correct!

2024...
Yep still a banger!
It can't die
Early 2021, landed here for the 1st time because of the Jake Zeeman documentary on Mark and I'm like "this shit is fire!!!"
Music after 2010.not good this last year good hits
@@master-kq3nw there's been some amazing underground music, just have to look in the right places!
Pop music sheesh! Pure 🗑️ on 🔥...
Metal music back in the 90's to 00's was my tunes! But now my genre is Electronic, Techno, and more Ethereal than just what the "charts" want...
@@GarththeVader i love chill out soulful house deep house jazzy housw after 2010.no more good pop music like before
Thank you Salvation Army for playing this in the shop I volunteered at. Sorting clothes never felt more like an adventure while listening to this. It's just so uplifting.
Can we just appreciate all of the artistic expressions in this song& video..Let's give her credit for her amazing singing style and earrings ❤🙌🏾
Yeah MNDR is great. Its a bit of a shame she never quite caught on in her own right. Still she's done OK as an underground act, and thats good cos her solo stuff is excellent. I believe she's made a fairly decent name for herself in the industry as a producer and songwriter for hire as well.
Been googling all kinds of words to find this song over the past 10 years ever since I heard it when I was a kid Damnn I just found it today 😂👌🏻✨ pays off
Proper made up for you, finding and the release from your perplexity! I've a couple songs that's haunting my brain too. Hopefully I stumble across them at some point in my life, before I die, too. Ha.
Nice work 👍🏾
Did you type shake it to my Rella?
I literally have been doing it for years trying to find it. And I found it today on a 00's bangers Spotify list. Honestly so happy
Literally
It almost doesn’t make sense how good this song is
This is actually a really good song I'm surprised its not more popular

Thats how i feel about mursday!
The whole album is awesome, some real bangers that are all kind of overlooked, I recommend, lose it (in the end) and Glass mountain trust.
It's very popular in my head.. talented guy
This song was like a hidden room inside a hectic club. When u sometimes wanna fell something nice that bring you to 2008 - 2010 memories that only you knows about it.
Got this stuck in my head for the first time in about 10 years. My baby girl is loving it!
Mark Ronson knows how to write, produce and create some amazing music.... this dude gots talents
12 Years since this dropped. jesus christ
The first time I heard this song, I never looked back. Still fresh as when it first came out!!
awesome
Ty for the likes guys !!!!!
Daryl Allman I was just thinking the same thing! It could have been released yesterday.
Ikr
+Daryl Allman It was the song of 2010 (definitely) and will NEVER get old!
2021 and this remains the perfect combo of rap, electro and song style. Decade gone and undefeated
Shout-out to Fairbairn for reminding me this existed
Same!
Alright the boys are here!

I swear Mark Ronson is a reincarnation of Midas whatever this guy touches turns to Gold
There is not a single second of this tune that I don't love! Still as awesome as the first time I heard it it.
MrThunderwing even better
But (at least in my mind) the last part is the best part.
Top draw my friend
Top drawer, as in the drawer where Victorian gentry kept their finest possessions.
Nice to see you here thunderwing
Always and forever, thank you to Great Britain and the British people whose creativity, since the 1960s, has given the rest of the World hundreds of unique bands and artists such as Mark Ronson and music of unparalleled beauty, quirkiness and atmosphere. What would our lives have been without British bands?
Your welcome.
Considering they all end up leaving England I'm seeing a pattern
This song never gets old, still on of my favorites!!!!

Jolly Wolly I love mark
Same here 💓
2010 was the best ever year for music for no reason
it's 2020 now and this song completely doesn't sound like a song from 2010! Mark is a genious.
The cray thing is, it does sound like a song from 2010 because that’s when it came out lol
This is Mark's first song that I listened. Just from the first minute I knew I had discovered a masterpiece and a genius.
This is just such a great tune. I found it from hearing it as the closing credits rolled on an episode of "Girls". I'm glad I like coming back to this song and cranking it up, because I'm closing in on 70, and it tells me I ain't dead yet. 🙂
I have a love for this song that is unjustified and undying.
song and it's vibe, aesthetic was ahead of it's time. Pure genius.
i just remembered this song after yearsof not hearing it and got INSTANT serotonin
The production of the chorus is brilliant - so many layers together, yet so smooth.
Ronson is so underrated! This is a brilliant tune that is timeless!! So happy I found it!
I really like how they give the video a definitive look, matches the song perfectly in tone. Sharp/stylish/cool.
Bought me some Lacoste sneakers and fell in love with MNDR thanks to this fabulousness
Q-tips' rap in this song is fucking sick!
Bert
2019 still a tune
Brilliant song and video. Came across this when used on a TV dating show. No one ever does it like that anymore. Bang bang bang
I will listen to this until I'm dead.
wont be long then ;)

Can’t believe that I discovered this almost ten years ago and it’s so good and so underrated
To think Mark Ronson did music like this before Uptown Funk. What a guy!
Check his song with ghostface killa
Such an underrated song. How does this video have less than 10m views.
I remember the first time I heard this. I was like this song is pure genius. Literally one of the best thought out pop sings ive ever heard and so addictive.
How are people so late to discover Mark Ronson?! He's been around since 2010 and earlier :O
Like Daft Punk, Black Eyed Peas and many groups nowadays...
Jasmin Awany 2003 "Here Comes The Fuzz" with Mos Def, Q-Tip, Ghostface Killa, Sean Paul, Tweet etc etc
he was doing live sets as far back as '96 (possibly even earlier, i'm not completly sure)
It's funny because I only just realised
He's been around for 15 years or more, been great ever since I heard him back in 01
I remember this song from when i were 15, im 19 now and im wondering WHY DOES IT ONLY HAVE 2MILLION VIEWS? there needs to be more songs like this!
@blackkey1976 He could actually be older buy I hope not.
What does a 24 year old think of 8 million views?
Damn u 27 now das crazy
Now you're about 30. Lol
Just found this song again... unlocked such a core memory of my teenhood fr
I remember when this came out years ago and no one liked it and thought it sucked. I loved it. Now Ronson is getting hot and people want to bite his style. People are such lemmings. The fuck on...
Exactly
Ive been hype offa this man for YEARS
Maybe the wrong public heard his songs? When he's popular now, it's easier for a bigger audience to approach his music. For example, I've heard him for the first time in my life today.
I first got hooked on him with the collaboration he did with Kasabian on the song Lost Souls Forever. It was in the movie 21, and ever since, I've been keeping my ears open to his latest work. He's great, and I'm glad he's getting more popular.
My NYC roots go back to the late 60's / early 70's .. predominately Brit-Rock. I saw this act this morning on Jools Holland's "Later" .... very impressed ..
Not sure where you're from but Australians like him. He's had a few songs in the top 30 in the hottest 100 of the year a few times.
I almost forgot how much i love this song. ❤🔥
I spent years trying to find this song. I was trying English words for the lyrics like come on Cinderella let’s go etc then I found out on a night Shift in Asda radio. I contacted the radio with the time because this was haunting me in my dreams as a mysterious popular song. So glad I got it
After 5years I still get that good feeling inside , love this song

Still fresh in 2018! What about you Tiff?
Always loved this track... dont think it was exposed enough 😊
This is one of the all time coolest songs and clips ever. A multiversal banger.
Being a 80s baby I appreciate the vibe
2021, still love the beat!
Almost one decade later. Still so good.
I only found this song like 6 months ago on spotify but got DAMN it slaps. So catchy! I sing this like every week.
2021 and still back for more, just as awesome as the first time I heard this on the radio all those years ago.
Tunes splits the atom is another fine example of a song that lost in space
She has great and unique voice
What a fantastic song. Remember first hearing it live on the Jonathan Ross show in the UK and instantly loving it, which is pretty rare. Should have been a huge hit but then would it still sound so fresh if it had have been? Brilliant.
This was played at my wedding back in 2010, absolute banger
This song had a huge impact on my life. Seeing the Rangers dance to this kind of beat was mind blowing!!
I love this song. Makes me happy whenever I hear it.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the pure, blissful awesomeness of this clip? I WANT TO LIVE IT!
Since the day it came out. I never stopped loving the song
Been looking for this song since forever 😅😅
First heard when my daughter played it when it first came out. A cracking song, have just rediscovered tonight to find its still as good but 10 years have passed.... WTF. One of Mark Ronson's best 🔥🔥🔥👍👍

This song always succeeds to put me in a good mood.
I remember playing this song on repeat before my first day of high school in 2010 :)
I don't know how I got here, but I'm glad I did, such a good song, this brings back nostalgia like crazy
By far the best hidden gems from mark ronson
Im obsessed with this song at moment and getting my daughter into it!
This song just makes me happy and pumps me up. Loved it for years.
I have been playing this around people when it 1st dropped. They looked at me like I had 2 heads. Nowadays kids are looking for this style to try to do a TikTok with. If only I had the same knees I had 12 years ago, I would show these kids how to really dance to this song 😂
Listened to this on repeat so many years ago
She's awesome and Qtip throws the house through the windows. Love it
Record Collection, the album which this single appears has to be one of those true hidden masterpieces in pop music. I highly recommend it to those who haven’t yet checked it out. Such an fantastic mish mash of soundscapes that just transport you to somewhere else. I know the term underrated gets bandied about often but that LP is truly so.
I saw Q-tip in a festival once, but in general I had very little connection to him, Mark Ronson and absolutely not MNDR!
Then they make this masterpiece with inspiration from both french and japanese cultures and three timelines from 1970, 1980 and 2010, with a slow steady beat and amazing backing vocals. I will never stop coming back to this song!
still bangin' out to this in 2023 / still better than anything on the radio
Forgot about this little beauty till i heard it on the radio the other day... Yessssss!! 😍
I wish modern kids would dance to music of this quality. thank you.
