- Review | FeiyuTech Vlog Pocket 2 | Our Thoughts. One of our favourite gimbals of last year that we reviewed for smartphones was the FeiyuTech Vlog Pocket. We liked it so much because of its size. It wasn't the strongest gimbal out there or have as many features as a lot of its competitors, but the FeiyuTech Vlog Pocket was so portable and fit just about anywhere, which meant that we actually brought the FeiyuTech Vlog Pocket with us. So when FeiyuTech asked us to try out their FeiyuTech Vlog Pocket 2 we were up for the task. Design-wise it's pretty much the same as its predecessor but it's stronger which is always a good thing. So in today's video, we take a look at what comes with the FeiyuTech Vlog Pocket 2. Then we take the FeiyuTech Vlog Pocket 2 out for a little test to see how it performs with a smartphone that has no stabilization.

Just come across your review, and I enjoyed it! I'm interested in the "active track" type feature of a gimbal - does the Vlog Pocket 2 manage that? And if so, will it mange it on "any" Android phone?

Could it handle the size and payload of an iPhone XS Max + Moment case + Moment lenses? I swear there's none that can handle this. Most need counterweights or can't even hold the size with a case on. I don't get how so many of these phone gimbals cannot handle a phone with a case and extra lenses

You have to like when a device has more smooth.
A nice looking gimbal though for the number of cell phone video the wife makes, one of these would receive very little use.

yeah some have use for gimbals, some just want gimbals, but i do like this one just for the fact that its small enough to actually bring it with you.
Good review. Just got one…the other ones are simply to bulky…i like that i can pocket it…and stabilization looks good like you say in your review
I also like how the arm is directed away from the phones camera…i will be using wide lens so don;t want to see the gimbal’s arm
size for me is probably the most import for smartphone gimbals. Just want something that can be carried without being an issue

I was today just have the same problem,My first Gimbal is a good bad a heavy metal with a big case ,something that you not bring with you if you are going to the bar with some friends .And i just looking for a pocket model something what you al the time bring allong with you just like your fhone So i order the Just the same one ,and it do al the same things like the big ones But you must first download the app .So a good litlle Gimbal for the same things 👍 up and greetings from Holland 💸
