I need to look at some real poinsettias to see what they look like. I never paid attention to their middle😅 Forgot to say these are gorgeous!! Am using a small black ash tray for the pot. I’m on my last coaster and cannot wait to arrange them. I want to make more flowers in different colors❤🎉❤😊😊😊

There are many out there and all they look similar .
I crochet and those coaster have same pattern of sunflower just changing colors .
There is no way to claim is yours cause a lot of people has similar patterns . And some patterns were created by others 10 years ago .

Can i use acrylic for this? 🙈 I have so much red and green yarn
I'm using up some of my Style craft acrylic yarn, and they're crocheting up nicely. They're only going to be used for mugs or glasses, NOT for hot pans or in the oven, so acrylic should be ok.

I am doing with acrylic because the nearest store didn't have other, also gold/yellow is a bit smaller then red, and everything is in red and green (because there was no brown) with a golden pot. On the end, they turned out sooo beautiful ❤
Red acrylic makes the petals more "live", mine are piled up flat right now, on tv bench, and it already looks almost like a real christmas star from the sofa
