LEGO wedge pieces are VERY weird (and fragile)

- Apologies. No rolling. No spinning with this one. Not a chance.
It’s safe to say that this design will stay together without a problem, at rest, on a flat surface, indefinitely. But moving it's ridiculously fragile unless the curve is perfectly aligned, and in general it won’t tolerate much disturbance at all. But that being said, what an amazing looking toroid--more like a UFO than a donut--a curved, slotted, octagonal loop.

For some reason it gives me vibes of some kind of sci-fi tech, like it's the hyperdrive generator on a ship. Imagine it in like a metallic grey with random blinky lights thrown in.
reminds me of fusion reactors
It would also make a good tire
It reminds me of magnetic coils, like you'd see at a particle accelerator/supercollider
I was thinking of Doc Oc’s mechanical arms. When he first started to put it together.
Or a ring on a space station
For those wondering, it required 949 A-shaped wedge plates and 146 1x3 plates. It says so in the description.

"Everything can be a loop if you use enough pieces of it."
True
Smart.
Wait is that how the forerunners created the rings in Halo?
@@Mac_Omegaly Yes.
Many people dislike it but I actually love this A-piece exactly because of the possibilities for your videos lol
Wait really? It feels like one of the most useful pieces they’ve made.
Not once has anyone said they disliked it lol
@@SixArmedSweater
spiral staircase
It makes a neat looking waterwheel at least.
Could make it into a helix if he added one more 1x3 to another side of the loop.
This man’s lego collection must be insanely huge
He buys pieces in bulk.
@@MrAdannor Well obviously, but it’s still a huge collection.
imagine him getting a package and he's like, oh, there are my 494 blue A wedge pieces
Huge
I know right? Like he makes builds out of pieces that you dont normally have Alot of
The fact that it curves by not fulling pressing in the bricks hurts me
I was hoping you'd make a donut with the a-piece, but you really went above and beyond.
He treats LEGO with the delicacy and care of a surgeon.
While putting crazy stress on each piece to make his creations.
@@mesiagamer5217
Not in this one; this one only has incomplete connections.
2:10
@@nexieadr Yeah, he still treat them well there.
gloves and everything too
I was thinking throughout the whole last lagd of the video that "that looks like it'll roll good. He's obligated to roll it now". I loved the video but I'm left with an ich
I would have rolled it if I could. You can't even pick it up!
@@BrickBending Wow, was it that heavy? Mad mate, but cool 👍
Ok, 1. I’ve never seen those pieces in my life
2. Can’t believe you thought of that
3. This looks AWSOME
These videoes are beyond therapeutic
That's actually a *lot* more fragile than I was expecting it to be. The build process makes it look like it should be fairly solid... but the last few seconds clearly demonstrate otherwise, and prove that the apology in the caption is justified. I love using the A-wedge in more conventional LEGO builds for its ability to provide non-right angles.
We used to joke about screaming bricks, but now they literally go AAAAAAA
At 0:30 it looks like a steering wheel for a sailing ship.
💯
I wonder if you could make a donut where the surface is also twisting, like rotating the A by some iterative amount with each layer…
At this point, this doesn’t even surprise me
I think it looks more like a partial accelerator, but that's just cause of the hole that the circle made, but using those pieces in a dark grey and black, plus making Custom Mini figs, you could have a CW Flash set with Reverse-Flash, Flash, and the particle accelerator
when i look at that, i think of the large hadron collider
That looks awesome, gives off arc reactor vibes
Tony Stark built this in a cave!! With a bunch of legos!!
This man can multiply Legos off-screen...
"Is it possible to _learn this power?"_
Wow, looks like a sports stadium 😁
Wow! Nice LEGO art!
“you know this lego piece you’ve never seen before? yeah? no? I’ve got 2^16 of them.”
This build reminds me of a particle accelerator
not really.... more of like a fusion reactor tokamak
@@DB4KK either way it still looks like a piece of equipment used in high energy particle physics
@@davisthompson9793 well yea i guess, particle accelerators are more of a giant oval
that's so sick
This is awesome!
And I sill keep telling you these are so great for interior designing like I love your vids man keep it up
I don't know why but after all your videos this one in particular has me in awe of how many of a singular piece you have
Wow! So futuristic!👌🏻
We need like a bloopers reel where the things break and it all falls apart when they're trying to build it.
This feels like a good start to building an iron man arc reactor
That is one lit circle!
This gives me memories of Lego Dimensions
Very cool build 👍
This doesn’t stress the bricks nearly enough, I need carnage.
It's a lego version of CERN!!
Awesome to be fair, I loved seeing it come together. 👍
That's one amazing lego hadron collider 👌
Wow cool I did not know illegal lego techniques were so cool and amazing 🤩 pls continue your cool builds.
Lego A pieces: **exist**
Lego builders: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
This Thing Looks Like A Radiator Of Some Kind
Jeff All of your videos are awesome i wish i could be a great LEGO builder like you.
That looks crazy
First video i have ever seen from the channel im only 10 seconds into the video I and I already had to subscribe this was so relaxing to watch
This reminds me of Dr.Octs arm at first but when you connected them together into a ring, it reminded me of the ship that Ebony Maw uses in infinity war
Interesting piece, easily a piece of a tower or a wheel. Nice video.
Looks really good as a micro build outline for a sporting stadium, like a soccer or cricket field.
Why does it look so satisfying?
I used the blue pieces on my own when I was bored to make the circle, always wondered what it would look like with more.
Imagine if a human created a monument like this
That cave man always experiences cool things
I LOVE you videos!!!!!!!!!!
Bro is breaking the world physics engine
this dude can multiply things holy!
Dude, how is it you are not working for Lego??? You're amazing!
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a wedge piece that colour. His collection must be huge
Lego is the future of tech
Dude has the Ctrl-D superpower
Looks illigal
Very cool and my favourite lego colour. What would happen if you pushed them together?
You get a really long octagonal tube. : )
This is how rings are manufactured, or so I’m told…
I like the plot twist in this story
That’s the weirdest tire I’ve ever seen
Imagine making a huge car with this.
I will never understand how you come up with these ideas
1:29 for a second there I couldn’t tell if he was wearing white gloves or was just Voldemort’s long lost son.
Fun fact, these pieces in this color appears in the Lego dimensions starter pack, that’s why you guys are getting sci-fi vibes
Tony Stark just called. He wants his Arc Reactor back!
I felt offended when he didn’t stand the half circle up for even a second
I’m pleased and horrified all at the same time, whole goddamn wheel there
Looks almost like a futuristic stadium
this looks like it'd be an amazing tire in snow or sand if it was strong enough.
I think it looks cool
Was expecting a simple helix. Not disappointed.
Someone needs to make a life sized lego car with these wheels
Man, talk about coming full circle.
When you took it apart at the end, I couldn't help thinking about «kransekake»; a type of cake of Danish origin which are made from rings of different sizes, put on top of each other to form a cone. When served, the rings are removed and broken into pieces...
I think this could be useful in some builds
Looks like an olympic stadium
These should be showcased in legoland
I'll forever wonder how this person has so many Legos
Great stuff!! Do you just not press it in all the way home on one side? To get the curve? That's what makes it quite fragile,. I guess! Not very wearable then 😂 - 'weird' in the title can't be seen at first, only the first two letters: for some reason I guessed wearable - some of the shapes remind me of high end jewellery (not really my thing, wearing jewellery, for several reasons including clumsiness and having a fairly comfortable style - but I find the craft & shapes Interesting, just as art I guess).
he added a brick on the top of one wedge piece to make it bend
What other people see: a cool ring
What I see: money
Is this the Large Hadron Collider in the Lego Universe…? Great build, as always, I loved it :3
The next level is another full loop at an angle
That lego brick really said *A*
How do your bulk buy your bricks
looks like Tony Stank about to create a new element
He did it! Mega Tube!!!
That would be perfect for like some kind of worm monster machine thing.
It’s the Large Hadron Collider!!!
I could see that working in certain builds.
Dude, make an art gallery with all your creations. I will pay to come and see
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the beginning of the geofront
1:39 *It looks like Tony Stark's ark reactor.*
"Oh, huh, if you put those A-pieces together, they form a circle-ish thing! Cool!"
"...Wait, why is he stacking them."
"...Oh, so that's what he meant by loop."
Freind:how weird do u whant dis to be
Him:Y E S
You realise my dream of building this bc i always wanted but never had the pieces to
Cool
Reminds me of a Coliseum
Brick bending you cab’t just keep making doughnuts!!
Brick bending: are you sure about that?
