I love this performance and song, Devin is an incredibly charismatic person and at all his concerts all the spectators really feel absolutely happy and laugh a lot, and it’s so touching that he brought his son on stage and in front of the whole audience confessed his love for his wife, with whom he has been married for 25 years (more than 30 years now haha). not many musicians do this. this is very sweet and touching

This song is from the album 'Sky Blue' which is, in my opinin the most underrated album in Devin's discography.

I agree, is a very good album, but the level was so high in the other ones.

You two are so beautiful. Inside and out. I can see it. Thanks for being in our world. Hugs from a complete stranger.

As you said, how often do you see a rocker proudly bring his very happy kid onstage, thank his mum & dad and wife of 25 years? My count is never! That is a huge part of what makes this so special. That and the happiness & pure joy everyone is experiencing during this exuberant uplifting positive anthem. It’s Dev Church.
Speaking of which, I enthusiastically agree with someone else recommending “Grace” (live at Retinal Circus) for you all to do next. Very much the same spirit as this one. Unique unusual song structure & rhythm, Steve Vai intro, a one word chorus and lots of beautiful Anneke singing. More happy tears for us all. 😂
Plus the inspirational phrase I will get a tattoo of one day. “Live, Laugh, Learn, Love.”.

I grabbed a kleenex before watching with you. The joy and inspiration in that performance are very powerful. I had no doubt that tears of joy would get you both. Cheers my friends!!

One of my favorite albums is Steve Vaii's Sex and Religion, in which Devin sings lead on almost every song 😮 check out "In My Dreams With You" and "Down Deep Into The Pain" 🤘

You should check out an early Devin track when he was singing in Steve Vai's band. Vai discovered him, and put him in front of a super group in the early 90's under the band name VAI. I would check out their song Deep Down Into The Pain, or the song Pig. You'll get a much wilder version of Devin, and a very different version of Vai as well.

Its just proof how horrible the world is now,. Many many years ago acts of hate and anger really stood out and shocked people. Now it has flipped, acts of love and kindness are so rare that it makes us emotional when we see it. The world is lost
