    Nice video, very short, and to the point illustration! I notice that people have been asking for transfer paper to print on black. However, since we can't dye dark darker, without using a white base, the only thing we can do at the moment is to use transfer papers like Neenah 3g that's going to sit on top of the garment. Because the image will be sitting on top of the shirt, it will feel a bit hard. Going through my mind for the past few months, there's one possible solution for achieving soft to touch image on dark garments using transfer papers!

    Nice video brother. I've been using JetPro since 2008 and it's awesome. Like you, the cold peel method was valuable in the overpass quality of the press. I did not like that when doing th shot peel, some of the ink came off with the transfer paper. Stretching is very important, as it open up the fabric to better take the ink during transfer as well as the issue that you spoke on. I'm not sure why anyone would say that cold press wouldn't work if they were pressing correctly. The second press locks the ink into the substrate and helps to increase the overall longevity of the ink.
    Question: How does your print quality hold up over time, say a 6 month time frame with regular wear and wash?
    I am using an Epson 1400 and the quality and longevity is amazing. I've never had a customer complain about it. Just wondering since you are using an hp?
    Thanks again for and awesome video. I subbed to your channel. Gotta support positive people.

      Brandon Conner You’re Welcome Brother. I have heard the same thing over the years. From my understanding it was mainly the type of ink that the printer uses. The Wilson uses pigmented ink, which are preferred. How I see it is that if it works for you, stick with it. P

    Was the previous press a Power Press and did it break down? Which press(es) do you recommend?

    • @urbanswagaddict
      @urbanswagaddict  4 года назад

      Yes it was and its still going to this day. My cousin purchased it from me. Still no issues. I pretty much relied on reviews from customers when I purchased each heatpress. The swingaway I have is great if you have the space to swing it open like it was designed.

    I tried to print on a white shirt, but it was 95% cotton 5% spandex. It didn't stick...just came off sticky and faded. I see companies putting tape over their HT images and flipping it onto a adhesive backing then printing from that. Makes me wonder if I'm doing it wrong. I can't figire out why I can't print...is i the fabric or maybe my heat press sucks.

    • @urbanswagaddict

      Do you have a laser temperature gun by chance? You can try to do a process of elimination. Checking to make sure the temperature on your screen is matching the actual heat platen. 2nd make sure its 375 Fahrenheit not Celsius. 3rd would be to make sure you have enough pressure.
