sign guy here. well done. you generally have less snagging issues if when weeding the material you are removing if you start on the right and peel back to the left (for text that you can read, or do the opposite if its reversed text). that allows you to better peel letters such as lowercase Es and Cs etc. anyways doing it all in slow motion what ever you do usually allows you to spot any mistakes along the way before it's too late.

hello, what transfer tape did you use for the Jet Opaque 3G? I have the same paper as well, but want to know the tansfer tape sheet you used. If you could provide a link that would be great. Thanks!
I got some stahl transfer tape to use with my 3G opaque and it's a real pain. I wasted lots of material. I saw some demos of the stahl printable paper and it looks so easy. They just apply the mask, pull the paper off and it comes off so easy. The neenah peper is quite nice on the shirt but it's a pain to work with, transfer tape or not.
Hello! We do recommend our application tape with our 3G Jet Opaque paper only. Have you given this tape a try? We do not recommend very fine lines/details as they do not pull up well on the tape. For the 3G paper, what issues were you experiencing?
PSA: You CAN'T use transfer tape on 3G Jet Opaque. I know a lot of you have attempted this only to find that no matter the tack, it will not lift off of the paper backing. There is a solution... You need to peel your full page print off of the the paper backing carefully, put it on a carrier sheet (like the ones from Cricut), then run it through the plotter/weed it... THEN you use the transfer tape to lift your designs. I suggest lowering the tack of the cricut carriers by rolling a clean cloth over it so that the fibers stick to it and reduce the tack.

Im assuming waiting for the transfer to cool down is the best way to remove clear heat transfer tape without lifting ink off of the design and on to the clear heat transfer tape?
Hello! Ink can release to the tape as well. We would suggest letting the transfer ink dry under a heat platen for 15-30 seconds, or let the transfer sit out for a few hours to let the ink properly dry.
I have a question.... If you lift the bottom of the letters, then place the transfer paper/tape over it and squeegee the front and back... doesn't that kinda take away from lifting the letters????? not understanding.
Hello! Lifting the letters slightly, before applying the application tape, will assist in the letters releasing from the paper backing and adhering more to the application tape. Thank you!
