Knowing when to call it is an essential survival skill, thanks for reminding everyone watching of knowing when it’s best to call it a day. Love the XT content, every time I watch you riding the little mountain goat, I ask myself why I don’t own one of these!
Agreed the XT is a beast of a bike! Super reliable and it’s built to go anywhere! It’s more trials friendly than MX friendly.. the solo riders dream I’d say!
The XT is one of the most underrated bikes out there. I put Race Tec full suspension on mine paired it with D 606’s it tracks so much better than stock it pretty much does what ever you throw at it.
Sadly, I let my XT go. I just don't have the garage space or surplus capital to keep a stable of bikes, and I've been riding my Transalp all the time lately. I don't live in an area where I get into that kind of gnarly stuff regularly, but that is definitely the bike for it. Thanks for the memories.
Hope your shoulder heals up ok! I’m falling off my xt pretty often too, getting old and I feel it but I gotta live brother! I’ve tilted my bars forward and I gotta say it helps more than I expected, bike feels longer and I weight the front wheel more preventing wash outs.. it’s the lil tweaks👍
Well, that depends on some variables. For me, the XT250 is not ideal for interstate travel. Well, maybe for short distances it'd be fine. Cruising at 65 mph on an interstate all day, there may be better choices.
I ride a DR650 and love it. I have always thought about an XT250 as an additional bike. My question is what more can you get with the XT250 that you don’t already have with the DR650?
For me the XT250 gives me more confidence in more difficult terrain due to its smaller size and lighter weight. I'll take my XT deeper into the backcountry than I ever would with my DR650 especially since the majority of my riding is solo. Thanks for watching!

That little 225 is a beast! Beautiful country there.
Wow, that definitely looks like a very challenging ride to say the least. An incredibly beautiful area to ride in. Thanks for another great video.😊

Also, that area is amazingly beautiful. Love red rock areas.
Fabulous roads for the XT250 - same colour as mine....
Thanks for sharing this video! That’s looking like a great place to ride! I got to get there some day!😊

Happy New Year. Glad you got out there. Weather further north has been pretty iffy. Lots of mud in the Nor. Nevada desert.
Happy New Year as well! Muddy desert is no bueno!
Great Riding !!!
Thinking about getting xt250...good to see they're capable bike

Interesting, bars forward huh? Do you have bar risers as well? Appreciate you watching!
You are looking for trouble going these crazy off road. Xt250 is on my mind for my first motorcycle after 15years if not riding one
I was wondering what is the cruising speed on the interstate of that XT 250? I was wondering if it could cruise 65 miles an hour all day.?

Does it have a twitchy throttle like the CRF300L?
No. Well, mine is pretty smooth.
