    Bless you. Jamaicans are gonna waffle around and cause a lot of opportunities to pass them by. Others from outside not Jamaicans are gonna continue to see these opportunities and gobble them up. Marie much respect. We put down our country and put up with all type of discomfort in other countries bearing it in silence. I do hope we get a massive influx of outsiders who come because they love my country and those who want to leave because they dont do get the chance real quickly to do so.

    Jamaica real estate does not go by the rise and fall as in other countries. For the past 70 years real estate has gone only in one direction, up. Never ever has there been a dip. That's why it's a solid investment. Unlike some other countries that every 15 or so year there's a crash.

      The reason for that is the huge diaspora- some 8 million jamaican live abroad, they are the ones that keep the market up.

    Blessings Empress, love the tour and the sights. Lots of Jamaicans in the diaspora are looking to retire back home. Right now the condo
    & housing crisis in Florida makes Jamaica a good retirement destination for some people, maybe thats why the prices don't drop. Ochi
    is called little Miami and money flows through there so I am not surprised. I do want a place to plant my garden and fruit trees( a we seh
    food as medicine). Curious that I didn't see a lot of Solar panels given the cost of Energy in Jamaica and the JPS complaints.
    Thank you again for the video and best of wishes going forward. Great move in getting away from England as it falls for its sins, bless

      Thank you so much! The people them have money to pay JPS 😂😂😂. Right now I have a 169 thousand JMD light bill from JPS. I’m literally crying I know is summer and we were at home for the summer holidays. However that’s day light robbery from JPS. I’m definitely looking to get solar panels installed. ASAP! Imagine having to pay so much money and having to buy school uniform at the same time. God help me! Thank you soo much for tuning in I really appreciate it.

      @@Maridavisvlogs Wow! I had no idea the light bills were so much. Thats over a thousand dollars US. Not even in Houston Texas or in Arizona anyone bill is that high.
      The people have full air conditioning going all day.
      JPS is pulling the same thing Cable and Wireless did to Jamaicans. These companies rob us to pay their retiree investors in dividends payment in the US , Korea, Japan ,England.(its a different form or slavery)
      checked amazon and you can get an off grid system starting at $6,000 where you can add on. Get that Solar system its a smart move.

    The high interest rate is one of the reasons the house prices are not totally out of control. The interest rate should be no lower than 3.5%. Ja house prices are still undervalued compared to the region where prices are as high as $20M US.

      @Maridavisvlogs  2 месяца назад +5

      @@keeturbo You have no idea what you’re talking about! I've had plenty of people tell me this area is known for Jamaica’s old money-even the real estate agent who sold me my house mentioned it. It's one of the places where wealthy Jamaicans bought property back in the day, and it’s known for having some big-time drug lords living here. You're making assumptions without knowing the full story. I didn’t show you the entire community or drive near my house-for safety reasons! Unless you live here or are visiting someone you know, people don’t usually drive up here. Did you see any other cars on the road while I was driving? You’re too quick to comment-I did my research because I live in this community.

      @@sil1938 all I can say is you will soon see whats happening. Its a sales trick. They keep a set of units offline and say they are sold out and then they try to bring them back online a couple months after at a higher price. It was working well in the pandemic because there was crazy demand from overseas. Alot of developments are not selling out right now.

      @Maridavisvlogs  2 месяца назад +1

      I think the gate is temporary they will change it once the house is finished. I personally like the brick work I love traditional houses on the exterior and modern in the interior. I think some of these new modern houses in Jamaica look rushed and tacky. The brick work is going to make the house look expensive.
