19:23 that car (red 2012 Mazda 3) was rear ended at a redlight by a dump truck with 30 tons (60,000 lbs) of gravel in it that had lost its brakes driver survived with minor injuries it was amazing I thought he was dead but got out though the windshield and sat on the curb that was April 3rd never thought I would see it on your channel tho lol
That was a CRAZY wreck! I figured it was run over by a big truck; it's truly amazing that the driver survived! Thank you for sharing what happened.
ruclips.net/video/QNy3qyFeQOI/видео.html is it this one
I have a problem with the fact the drivers airbag is still good.
@@NickyD it's not that one, but that was some crazy accident.
@@NickyD no it was not this the one that the Mazda was in wasn't recorded as far as I'm aware idk for sure tho
I think 90% rebuildable cars and 10% carnage is a good mix
I agree.
No that sucks
I agree - 90 percent rebuildable and 10 percent carnage sounds good.
Agreed!
What about 50/50?
Doesn't matter to me whatever you post I watch. Copart. Busting thieves. Content at the shop. It's all good.
I am subscribed to lots of channels. I can assure you I watch every video you post. Can't say that for some others I follow
Randy - You know I will also watch and like anything you post. I have never missed any of your posts.
The 2.7 is a Twin Turbo V6. It has 325HP and 375 LB FT of torque. It's got some good power for a little 6 banger. Great on gas too.
This is a turbo one, intake comes out the wrong side.
The sound is perfect. You don’t have to change anything. You’re doing an awesome job with your channel
2.7L Eco Boost surprised me. My old boss used to say “slingshot engage” and floor it on highway on-ramps.
Put a sock over your mic! It works great for eliminating wind noise and will be a very cheap fix! I am still happy you got your trailer back!
I came for the Mazda 3... may we all have a moment of silence... thank you
Nobori Auto NOBORI MY MAN
@@weirdbeard8898 Yeah dude, Todd and I watch you as well. Good stuff!
@@NoboriAuto heyyyyyyy weird beard and nobori auto!!!!!!
Long time subscriber.
I don't think that anyone was in it. It would have been cut apart to get the driver out and there would have been blood all over the place.
That 2.7 is a great motor. I have a 5.0 coyote in my 2016 F-150 XLT FX4 and love the truck but the 2.7 is very reliable and powerful 325hp and gets awesome MPG. It’s tough seeing a truck like mine in that condition but it could be fixed, the low mileage is great! Cab is perfect on that truck.
Randy , i love both rebuilds & carnage , your doing a fab & awesome job . I think you should do it like you did the other week
Get the MKZ and do a rebuild it would be great content. Ford guy here lol!
Yes more rebuildables please. The MKZ is basically a fancy ford fusion.
Any Lincoln Is really a fancy ford
as a Lincoln MKZ owner I agree with both these statements
As a person who gives a half, I agree with all of these statements. xD
Thank you for all your hard work! This is my dream and you're helping me make this possible.
I commented earlier but, Was on my lunch break & didn't have enough time to finish so, I am now finishing your video & wanted to say, That focus is the same as mine & I have about 225k & yes, every part is new because I like to stay ahead of all needed maintenance & repairs! timing belt, tensioner, water pump, serpentine belt & serpentine belt tensioner, brake calipers, all new brake lines, rear wheel cylinders, bearings, brake hardware, rotors, heck, new quick struts, & shocks on the rear with new coil springs, sway bar links, ball joints, I went overboard & changed the main & rod bearings to ensure longevity along with the upper & lower oil pan gaskets, valve cover gasket, thermostat & housing, overflow & coolant hoses, cooling fans, cooling fan solenoid, cht sensor, both o2 sensors & much, much more, I should have just saved the money & purchased a much newer car but, I NEEDED TRANSPORTATION & IT JUST WORKED OUT THIS WAY BUT, DEPENDING UPON PRICE, That focus might be decent basic transportation? I swapped in a 4G wifi enabled 7" smart radio w/camera's. That one needs upgraded!!!
Hey Randy, just record both while you are there. Then you can just publish it as two separate videos. One for repairable cars and one for Carnage cars.
Wow something i can acctually agree to
Leave car door open next time you get in car lol
50% carnage 50% rebuilds
Bid on the Porsche , maybe we find the engine one day !!
Trueeee
The black Chrysler with the front end damage of which, You could not open the hood, Shares MANY PARTS WITH THE SEBRING! Just from the driver side viewpoint that you showed, I can see several similarities like the remote battery terminal, the air box, Keep in mind, I have a sebring in my driveway & I am very familiar with it 196k & still running very strong!!! It's 2.7 runs like a champion & has never given us any issues in the 4-5 years that we have owned it!!! A lot of people hate on the 2.7 but, Ours has been great!!! bI just drove it yesterday, up a very steep hill & was pleasantly surprised at how well it takes this hill compared to my focus! I never want a 4 cylinder vehicle again!!!!!!! Id rather have a larger displacement, easy running, less stressed, & more torque having v-6 or v-8!!!
This is hilarious to me. 10 minutes in and it is crazy talk. I wouldn't go near that red Chevy in a million years. The black one with the prior repair on the quarter I could fix in two days for a tenth of what it costs to do the red one.
Watching these videos makes me want to record myself walking around a hospital diagnosing patients.
The white Ford Focus is a 2000-2004 model. The 2005-2007 models have different headlights, with the turn signals in the headlamp assembly, and the tail lights were redesigned as well, with the reverse lights on the top, and they weren’t quite as big.
A couple of things:
1. The Boxster engine is in the middle. Its quite hard to get to it but its there. Fun car to drive, but not really worth that much.
2. No one was in the crashed Mazda at 18:00, as no airbags deployed anywhere in the car.
My parents just got a 2007 MKZ with only 92,000 miles! She’s a perfect car too!
1:22:21 long copart walk around THANK YOU RANDY, fuck the haters this is better content than 99% of youtube
I like the idea of rebuildable cars...cars that realistically you are considering.
Not I like seeing a little bit of carnage
In Australia, if a car is listed as a Statuory Write off, it cannot be re- registered in an attempt to get rid of those who woule steal a car & rebirth it.
A repairable writeoff may be re-registered if rebuilt to a suitable standard but a statuary writeoff cannot.
Randy, maybe Kia and Hyundai from 20 years ago were "disposable" but nowadays they are really good cars that are holding up in value rather well. The Sportage (suv) is pretty good competition for the rav4 and the cr-v.
Ron Dc which are two other “disposable” vehicles lmao
I was about to make the same comment.
My uncle has the F-150 with the eco-boost and he loves it. He doesn’t do any towing but he has about 140k miles with really no problems.
When I was 9, I lived 3 blocks from our local towing / Scrapper, ( highway wreckage recovery).
I saw an 82 Camaro with an entire front bridge dental out of somebody's face stuck in the dash. I will never forget it.
Wife was in a 2013 Mazda 3 Hatch- rear ended by Suburban while stopped at on ramp. Amazing totally buckled the frame, bent her drivers seat, no bags blown, - very lucky only slight back injury. Mazda 3 is a very safe vehicle considering how bad it was. Insurance totaled it - bought a 2017 to replace.
I honestly like the Carnage more, but the potential rebuilds are interesting too.
When you was talking about car's smelling bad with smoke. You can buy a smoke bomb machine and it eliminates all traces of smoking in the vehicles
75 % rebuild 25% Carnage that my preferred ratios
I wanna see more carnage and rebuildable vehicles so 50/50
The bent frame on the Ford. Take bed off, cut the damaged part off at the bend, bash it straight, re weld it and weld reinforcing inside the frame.
The White Focus is a good flip. clean and sell
I’d love love love this style of video, keep up the good work Randy
Is it me or does Randy make the perfect used car salesman? He just fits the part and the things he says about the cars like good tires, ice cold AC etc... He could sell a deaf man a radio with headphones 😂 good job on the video and I'm just busting your chops Randy.
We have 4 2.7 eco boost f 150 well over 180 thousand miles on them now hauling are equipment from job to job and they have never give us any problems and they actually pull really well. They feel like there is a lot bigger engine under the hood then those 2.7 eco boost
hey randy... why was a auto auction rebuilds sticker on the porsche’s windshield?!?
it’s the same as your cover photo!
Just make it simple 50/50 half good half complete Carnage that way everybody's happy😀
I've been a body man for 33 yrs ,that mazda was unbelievable
Before seatbelts, a junkyard would have 4 or 5 cars that would have head sized holes with brown stains punched through the windshield. That was carnage.
I’ve never seen a Mercedes Benz with that much seat damage. I had a 2002 S430 with the MB synthetic leather With 149k miles with mint condition seats. That was shocking
The cover over the. Crash bar is an impact absorbers.
The Lincoln has a safety door latch...pull both the lock and the door handle to open..Use index and middle fingers at the same time
The Lincoln MKZ was a dressed up Ford Fusion. Newer MKZ also has the same 3.7 V6 from the Mustang. Five Hundred only was only rebadged as a Mercury Montego. Lincoln MKS would be a rebadged Ford Taurus however.
Questions that always precede regret no.394 "I don't see why this is salvage!"
Exactly, if you don't see why it's salvaged out and buy it, you'll surely to God hear/feel/smell & pay for why it was when you get it home!
that F150 FX4 with the bent frame: you're not supposed to weld or re-bend heat treated frames.
It has as much HP as the 5.4 and is torquey but there are many issues with getting that much HP out of a small engine like that. Fordtechmakuloco has done all kinds of videos on the eco boost issues.
Even more important: The new F-150's are all aluminum - including the frame. You can't just fix them the way you would a steel truck.
Do both because it really can teach people to slow the hell down
Yep, the 200 is the little sister to the 300 that replaced the sebring
ex-smoker here too!! Smell knocks me for a loop!!!!!!
Can't dislike but more carnage plz
i petrsonally like a mixture of the two types of videos just like youve been doing
2016 F150 2.7 V6 325 HP and 375 TQ. It is one of the quickest new trucks out there.
The yellow corvette hit a curb coming out of a car show probably.
More carnage because it is cool seeing the destroyed cars
Randy if you happen to get a car that has been smoked in here is a reliable way to make it like it was brand new and had never been smoked in by an ozone generator you put it inside the car with air conditioner running leave it in there for at least 4 to 5 hours when you turn it off let it sit for an hour then open the doors and wait 5 minutes before entering the car to let the carbon monoxide exit and replenish oxygen inside it will smell like a brand new car..
Personally I would never dislike one of your videos so I put like on it.
But in saying that I liked seeing the destruction.
On a video could you get into more of the legalities of Copart and the off-limits vehicles.
I like seeing the destruction too. Makes you think how serious some things are. And same about the dislike. It's just not something I can do lol
@@nexxisfoxx9731 wouldn't do it for a million dollar
LMAO! ROF! The Boxster is a mid engine 6 cyl water cooled car! Don't spend much on that one, when they are that old, they are not worth much, in good shape.
The 2.7 EcoBoost in the F150s are quite fast and powerful. They can be modified easily and you can get some good power from them. They also get 21-22 MPG highway.
Got a 2018 F150, road tripped from Central Alberta, all the way to Crawford Bay in British Columbia, on 1 tank of gas. It was fun.
hell yeah for the rebuildable cars...
Good Lord, good thing someone was near ,you might have had to spend the night😉
Curtain airbags save thousands of lives each year. Don't hate on them.
My son and I went to Copart today (Pennsylvania, Phila. Lot) and they won't let people walk around the lot anymore. We had to tell them what we wanted to look at and get escorted out to the vehicle(s). They said we could not take pictures or video either. The guy who escorted us said its in their "rules" that you cannot video or take pics. I could not find it in their rules, but IDK. They said about a year ago they stopped letting people come in and walk around without an escort.
Wow! That's scary getting locked in a car at a salvage yard. Lucky she was around! Be safe, love your videos.
I can’t dislike the video haha but I don’t mind the carnage
I like the mix. Keep up doing what you do. You can’t please everyone.
I wouldn't knock curtain airbags in an accident and you saw the damage today. But I agree with the cigis. Hate them now.
😍 Michelin pilot sport tyres always look so good. Especially the satin finish on the 4S.
The MKS was a Ford Five-Hundred rebadge. The MKZ was the Fusion rebadge.
The Lincoln you showed, shares the same interior door handle as the Ford Fusion from I believe 08-12? and they’re all known for breaking. A family members both front interior door handles broke. Cheap to replace and easy to replace!
That mustang went side ways
The Mazda is an easy fix. Just a love tap. Lol
Great mix of both save and scrap vehicles. Sure makes you wonder how some of those drivers and passengers fared. (Mazda, not so well) When we used to preview these types of cars many years ago they still had blood and hair stuck in the windshield. I guess these days airbags do their job as intended.
Or they clean them up real good.
👍👍 Randy, as a motor head, love your videos.
I think that he should show more cars in general. Not just carnage and rebuild possibilities for him but some cars that are still cars that his viewers could buy. This would be wide variety of cars ranging from luxury to cheaper cars instead of just the usual rebuilds he wants to view or extremely damaged cars.
I like both carnage and rebuild
grey mustang is a chihuahua dressed as a coyote
e
You should make 2 vids, one for full on only Carnage and one for rebuild 🤷♂️ because i get bored with the rebuilds, looking st the carnage its fun to build the scene in my head
Same
That MKZ was Ubers sweetheart car. For awhile theyd mention that MKZ whenever talking about Uber select. lol. I guess its a midsize lincoln, has leather seats like a big Lincoln & so on.
Me again whys it whenever I see an Impala its always wrecked or has been a rebuilt wreck? I seriously stopped trying to buy Impalas for this reason. always wrecked.
That blue Ram looks like a 2500, but has 1500 badges on the doors?
Good for you finding the trailer, and catching these mean thief’s, I am excited watch the content once I get home.
5 ⭐️!
That douchbag that stole your trailer is getting destroyed on FB !!!!!!!! Love it Randy!!!!!
I read someone signed him up for all sorts of female & lbgqt magazines to his address & posting m2m hook ups to come over on different hook up sites LMAO
TejasToolMan omfg that’s actually so hilarious 😂😂😂
Red Ford easy fix remove the bed and cut frame easy to find a rear half of the frame just weld the two together., You can get the new bed and frame from one other truck
Only thing worse than an x- drunk is a x- smoker , Lol ! I like both .
I like Carnage and potential rebuild cars. I know the sounds morbid but I like seeing the Carnage cars and trying to figure out what happened. Plus the only way I'll be able to get a car I like a mustang is through copart.
Me to
Does your wife find the cars for you with the paper/list. Nice video a lot of potential rebuild cars👍
Jesus sooner or later these Copart walk around videos will be a day long
That mazda 3 look like it came off of a fast n furious set lol
I bought a 2011 Silverado that the side airbags went off and busted the head liner. I dropped the liner, replaced the airbags, then I patched the damaged spots and re covered the fabric over it. Saved a couple hundred that way.
2.7 V6 F150? That's big. My dad still drives a 2002 Toyota Hilux 2.7 I4 with 350,000km on the clock.
just a note...thats not a 2007 focus...they changed the body style in 05...and went with a duratec engine..thats a 2004 or earlier....zetec engine and 04 earlier front end
awesome video,i like to see both rebuild and carnage cars keep doing it just the way you do! have a good day!
The 2.7 ecobeast actually packs a punch, I managed to get wheelspin when flooring it
That black Chevy Impala. I would buy it, put a bumper, 2 tail lights in it and drive it just like that.now, if I was buying it to flip, I fix it right
Love your videos regardless of your content. Doesn't matter to me whether you're looking for a rebuild or checking out the carnage cars (and hoping for the best outcome of no injuries, but unfortunately, that's not always the case).
Excellent video!
Lincoln MKZ is a Ford Fusion
I own a 12 Gt and a 14 3.7 mustang I love em both. Saying that. The v6 with the gt floor mats and the coyote in the back really bothers me lol
Definitely agree. While the GT has the power, the V6 does well and is fairly attractive. Why rice a V6? The car is probably happier at copart now.
If u buy both of the mustangs & put the coyote driveline into the metal flake siler, airade, nitrous injected mustang, I believe it would be a beautiful car. To me, that body looked a bit like Eleanor tho, in silver.
More of rebuild cars. Can you do live auction videos?
i like both crash car and rebuild
