    There is a skill range where you can get stuck with playing vs. players that dont use spin and beat you because you try to learn how to play with spin.

      This is very true. This is why i like to practice smashing too. This is one skill that wins against who like to play slow accurate and wirh spin.

    Thank you for all your great advices ! I'm beginning at the age of 50 after a career in basket-ball! I have a donic Applegren allplay with Friendship 729 super fx 2mm on both side, it feels great!
    My main issue now is consistancy with my forehand, what should I do ? Can't wait for next videos!

    Hi coach, could you please make a detailed video on the contact point on the racket for all the backhand shots,?

    • @JointyTv
      @JointyTv Год назад

      Yes this would be nice. With where we should hit the ball. On top or side

    • @ValtheMatedor
      @ValtheMatedor Год назад

      @JointyTv yes, cause they say we have to hit above the centre of the bat for forehand, but nothing on backhand

      @andreydartsandtt yes, but I'm wondering when you flip the bat for the backhand is that near the top or bottom?

      Does it also switch or stay the same? It's a bit unclear which is why pictures would be nice

    Great video - but I would rename it (at least in USA) to "going from intermediate player to advanced player." This video is way above most "beginners." But, this is a great video especially for me. Thanks.

    Why no one posts the Asian Games finals between Fan Z and Wang C? The news is there that WC won, but there is no video of the match.

    Hmm. I'm just wondering...At my place, all the people coming up to me are telling me to use power, and are telling me it is too early for me to learn how to spin the ball. They stop me whenever I follow the beginner's tutorials I see on YT that tell me to use a stroke that is compact & diagonally upward (from Japanese channels). They keep telling me I have to fully extend my arm forward (like punching the ball). Is this sound advice, or are they trolling me? When I follow their advice, my shots, especially my backhand tend to go long over the table.

    You didn’t cover playing for beginners. All your videos were for high end professional players. Why not show videos that beginners can understand.

    How can you mimic technique of top players? They developed it many years. Start training from childhood with professional coaches. They many times faster and phisicaly stronger then beginers. They use very fast and hard equipment. I didn't expect to hear this from you.
