There has never been a better looking truck built than the 80's body style Chevy. My 87 is still running strong and she is the prettiest girl at the dance to me.

yes ron the are 10 bolt axles, In sand drags and fast track mud drags you do not need big heavy axles. Some do move up to ford 9" beacuse of the simplicity of changing gears. If this was mud boggin or Rock Crawling the axles would be one tons ore bigger for mud bogs.
all show no go, thing was flooding he had to keep it running at the line didn't look like it left that hard either.

ok thanks. i have the same truck. I was thinking 6 inch lift with 37" super swampers but now im starting to think theres not enough wheelwell clearance. Perhaps 35's would be the way to go the front end on this truck is looking pretty clean.

I dont know exact info. 427cu. Built small block it was not running good tbis night very slow. Tires 39.5 18 r15. Oggers rear Nd 37 up front. Truck has around 6 to 7 inchez of lift. He had a home made shacle flip out back. If ur looking just for the same stance as this truck PM me. For info. I can tell were u need to be for what size tires. Note 39.5 will not fit up front of a truck with out timing on a 6seprate or 7"lift without trimming.

Just curious since I'm about to start my k10 I'd like to know so I can use this truck for reference thanks

Hey bro, in fast track mudd drags or sand drags racing. U do not need ones tons or big heavy duty axles. 90% of the trucks wanna be as light as possible. Stop by my chaneel and look for the mud drags vids. I well see them all eith half ton axles. This guy had a awesome truck, but was no were as fast as any of the guys out here. Check out steele crackin truck.

You never get what you paid for to build it when you sale it. Sometimes you even make more money saleing it all seprate. he could have 30,000 in the truck and only get 12,000. I'm just shooting out numbers here but alot of times you can buy a truck cheaper then to build is what im saying.
