Same here brother! My father had one with a 455 big block with a 8/71 blower. It had 40 inch tires with a ten inch lift. With the roll bar in the back. As a kid he did some stupid shit with me in the truck but it was always a blast. He would race mustangs in the 90’s and he would eat them for breakfast! One day I’ll find one
When you do these spotlights, you guys should spend more time on what's under the hood and what's in the interrior, even if it's just 20 seconds saying it's got (what ever Ex. Chevy 350 small block stock) and another 20 seconds in the interior just saying like here is where we mounted the switches for the lights and other mods ect. Also it would be cool to show the truck with the lighting on! Just some ideas but keep great videos so far! I understand for some trucks with stock everything stock under the hood and in the inside it might be a bit pointless but I have a feeling some people (like me) just like to know everything about the truck!
Nice balance of old school and new school. I agree with @connor doll that nearly all vehicle spotlights on social media these days do not show interior pics enough or under the hood. Great truck and video though.
I have a 86 k10 on 22x12 American force. Was wondering how do I get the brakes from running into the steering parts on the driver front side when I turn to the left ?
So 3/4 ton gm axles are the same size as 1/2 ton axles , only thing that changes is the hub ,6 to 8 lug . Dana 60s (1 tons) would have been better choice
Every truck made after ~2000 is meh, and every truck made after ~2010 is absolute shit. Old trucks are amazing though build to last and look so badass.
I always thought if your gonna buy a new truck just imagine what that kind of money would do to restore and slightly modernize an old chev blazer like a 1976.i had 3 of them and they never left me stuck but they could have been a bit more creature comfort like.happy holidays
I have a question does negative offsets damage suspension components tie rods etc ? If it is , then is there something that i can install to prevent this ?
Sure: larger axles. If you're going to run big tires, you need big axles to handle the extra stress from increased leverage. If you're just planning on tooling around on the street, you can get away with big tires on a Dana 44 front, but if you're going to really use it, a 60 would be a better choice.
Very nice truck ruined by the rims. It should have 15" rims. you can still get tires that big overall diameter for 15" rims. Those huge blingy rims give it a pimpdaddy ghetto look. They definitely don't match the year of the truck.
That's a nice truck and those are nice wheels, but the wheels don't suit the truck. 35" tires with 16" rims would look better, as would shiny rims to match the chrome bumpers and accents on the truck. It could be totally modern stuff, but it needs to have the right proportions to look right and that combination just doesn't.
A special place for what, the truck looks good but its not for off-road at all. Just for looking nice and you aint country, your cap is on backwards. I don't even talk to people who wear their shit like that unless they are working. You might break even !
The Square Bodies have a special place in my life
Dan Soderholm yup me too I got a m1008

It'll definitely smack the front fenders if he offroads it and gets any real amount of flex out of it.
These squares dont look right anyway with anything over a 16 " wheel.

beautiful truck but the wheels don't match.

Gerald Scott you can't get toyo mts in a 40" on 15s
Its definitely not "ruined" lol.
Put super swampers on it instead
Gerald Scott I agree....the 20s look good on the newer vehicles but a square body should not have anything bigger than an 18
Them rims don't look on any truck. Bet they break on the first rock off road.

I'll bet that thing rides like a wagon!
All that money and couldn't spring for decent shocks...? wow.
Sorry my bad
Mud tire
