  • June 2024 NASA event in Firebird East. Pushed the car harder, got closer to others in classes I look to compete in and got more brake data.

      He certainly had more power on the straights but I could reel him in everywhere else. Made for a fun session!

      @@1stGenCRXs Yeah she got hot due to forgetting to turn my AC off and running Michelin old 4s tires. You were cruising in that CRX. I think that was the second session...correct? See you in October for round two 🙂

      @@NurFaCeFoo that will definitely help you in the turns. My lighter weight helps me get through the turns quickly. Funny we all have a list of upgrades to do this summer!

    Awesome driving, looks like things are really coming together with the CRX. And thanks for the brake update! It's really cool to see more data points coming in so we can get an idea of how the system responds to incremental changes.

    How were your engine temps with the higher ambient temps?

    • @1stGenCRXs
      @1stGenCRXs  3 месяца назад +1

      Actually during that 3rd session I noticed they were coming up a bit more than normal so I backed off to about 80% for a couple of laps and then got back after it. I’m thinking this summer I may look at adding some guides or shields to force the air to have to go through the radiator a bit more. Overall it did well.

      @1stGenCRXs  3 месяца назад

      I’m running a stock rack out of an HF due to it having a little quicker ratio.
