wah leow chee cheong fun!!! n the white carrot cake mmmmm! that bah zhang looks damn good too can send some over?!? lol
Hi bro, not suprised that the Malay brother can speak Hokkien. Normally all those non-chinese above 50yrs old is able to speak Hokkien. Chances are he learnt it from his dad. I'm Malay & my late father speaks Hokkien. Me & my brothers pick it up from him. Also did my NS in the SAF some 25yrs ago where there were not many Malays & i 'improve' on my Hokkien..hehehe..
In JB, usually the longtong is accompanied with sayur nangka. Thats where I like to go for this special food. I used to go Parkway parade and the Hawker centre, but ever since the pandemic problem I stopped going. I have not eaten from this Malay stall before and was thrilled that they serve the longtong soup with nangka which is my favorite. Thank you Piggypuggy.
The fishball bak chor mee is the nostalgic teochew kind I like 😻... reminds me of my childhood sun mornings that after buying fresh meat and vege at the pasar with my mother then sit down at the hawker stalls with all the wet plastic bags and eat the morning open only fishball bak chor mee.....
Hey there my Friend!!! you have the longtong with serondeng!! that looks delicious!!!! yummmm Hope that taste good...and young jackfruit too
Haha.. remembered you taught me it's called Serondeng 😊
Love fish ball noodles with chili😍

Hello Harry! Salamat Pagi!
Hope like Lontong 😊
@@Piggypuggy lontong i like👍
😍❤️I like to eat LONTONG with SHREDDED CHICKEN MEAT. I find it too plain, so sometimes I would ask to add more ingredients if the hawker stall also sells MEE SOTO. 🤣 hahaha 😝
👍🏼I am a rice🍚person, NOT noodles🍝 as I find rice better for me & also cleaner & more hygienic. 😋
Haha.. love mee Soto too.. so Kiam… Soo nice.. 😋
Your son is veli nice, handsome! You shoud be happy taht your son veli good. congratz ;)
Handsome 😍🤪
My husband found your channel because I was born and raised in Singapore, and he wanted to see all the amazing food I ate! I love watching your channel for the food, but I also enjoy hearing people speak, seeing familiar sights from around Singapore, and reading your captions! 😊 Like your joke about how the boss lady’s hair is better than SQ girls… it makes me feel like I’m time travelling and back in Sg again! 😂 And I get to explain what you’re talking about to my husband. Thanks Piggy Puggy, we love your videos!!! 👍🏻
Thank you Shona 😊
Hope the hawker talks brings back memories of this hot sunny island for you 🌴
Wow the malay shop food look so yummy esp w the banana leaves
Hi piggypuggy, im a big fan of your content, may I request for you to add some time stamps your video, say 2.10 - Bak Changs 4.23- Meepok 7.43- Malay food. Like that its easier to refer when hunting down a stall shown to try 😅
Looks good. Good vid

Woah handmade chee Cheong fun! It’s a hard find nowadays.
Reminds me that there’s an another handmade ccf at Marsiling mall hawker. Need to find time to go there again.

There are 2 Malay stores where u went. Next time try the other one. Lontong n (Nasi+say ur goreng+sotong+ikan bilis w peanuts). My wife ask you to try the nasi Lemak at the 1st coffee shop nearest to the market.
Looks like all the malay food there damn power 😊 thanks for the recommendations. The other few stalls looks good too. Although they don't have queues

Wah, that lontong looks power, must try. Got nangka some more. Pity no yam bean. Still definitely will pay it a visit. Only been there once only.
My first time there too Eggie... 🥚
@@Piggypuggy Ate the lontong this morning. It was very good. My original comment was wrong, they do have yam bean. Definitely will be back again.
@@eggie011 haha.. hope it's not too far for you to travel here

Except for Singapore's weather 🌡️ 😅
I know right? 😅
the first time I ate at the fishball noodle stall, my father carry me to go eat. it was 1.20 for small ball and 1.50 for large bowl.
I only remembered $1.50 meals 😅
Thanks for reliving your he $1.50 memory
I believe you know your food, ie the blue pea flower. Just that you're giving the stall owners chances to explain themselves in your video🙂
😁🥰
2021还在世,还能听着经典歌曲,也是一种幸福
I think they WAY over boiled the egg. They gray ring on the yolk is not good. But they dish looks absolutely delicious.
Poor carrot cake lady in red top looks exhausted!!!
Ya know Cat.. I've actually seen many hawkers that are soooo sooo tired.. yet they have no choice but to press on.. no matter what medical conditions they may have.. no mc.. no medical leave..
"I've never been an Eastie, .....although I love Sheena Easton" --- LMAOOOOO GO TO SLEEP!

Thanks Gerry 😊
Really Tasty!!! 😄
Super Delicious~

Marine Terrace HC has better food stalls than Marine Parade Central HC.
Yah man.. I thought Marine Parade central would be better.. but this 24 stalls hawker is enough to satisfy me
@@Piggypuggy MPC HC used to be good before the major renovations. Now it's just average as quite a few good stalls have either shifted out or retired.
@@shaun_seow many good hawkers all retired.. haiz. And now everything is $4-6
May l know how to get there by bus ?
👍👍👍😋😋😋

Surprised you don’t know about the butterfly pea flower. It is used in Nasi Kerabu in Kelantan and Mango Sticky Rice in Thailand. A well-known Southeast Asian ingredient. But then again, I sometimes wonder whether you Singaporeans (especially those of Chinese and Indian descent) really think of yourselves as Southeast Asians at all…..
Who's Singaporean?
@@Piggypuggy I thought you were. And by being Singaporean you are Southeast Asian as well, don’t forget….
Hmmm… another disappointment for me. Those food look yummy. I used to go to Marine Terrace in the late afternoon/ evening. Almost all the stalls were closed. Sometimes.. only the fishball noodle stall & 1 or two others were opened. How I wish they operate for hungry customers like me.
Mandy you stay near Katong? Can have somebody dapao for you not? 😅 I was also half awake when I went there at 830
Hi Piggypuggy, thanks for your suggestion. I live in Marine Parade. Am 75 & I love old school hawker food. Unfortunately, there’s nobody to dabao for me.
FYI Jackfruit is Nangka not Mang Kaa 😂
Can government encourage all hawkers and stalls in coffee shop to accept PayNow? It not hygienic to deal with cash and food at the same time. Can Community Centre conduct one or two evenings class to teach seniors how to use their mobile phones to make payment?
Ho Liou 🤤
Enjoy your videos, although I feel strongly that you should avoid freebies to maintain a sense of professionalism and objectivity. I get that you buy from them subsequently to make it right, but why be obliged?
I understand where one would be coming from.. but to reject profusely on a bowl offered by the hawkers would mean disrespect to them. So I usually would still offer to pay 1-3times even after they have offered me a bowl to try. After which it really means that they want you to have it on them. Because.. they would have accepted it then.. (actually many have accepted my offer to pay as it’s hard to make a living too)
Tera iu chi iu thank you
No wonder can get cancer. Wrap bak Chang cannot use nylon strings
