I miss Singapore so much! Hopefully be back in the New Year and will check this place out! If you ever want to make a million dollars overnight, open up an authentic hawker food centre in Perth, Western Australia, right in the middle of Hay St or Murray St and you'd easily have over 1000 patrons a day at those prices and quality!
Was at this hawker centre last week eating roti telor from Indian stall, mee Soto from Malay stall, thunder tea and Ayam pen yet. Had teh Tarek at Abang teh tarek with hum Jin piang. Back in Canada few days ago. Keep up the good work, Piggy Puggy. Love your shows.
I went that day to have a meal.. not all stalls fully open yet. Sometimes gotta wait till can get more vibe to bring on a good representation of the place 🥹
@@aikpengng7690 if you wanna visit. Best to go around 1030-11.. so far the crowds seems to be pouring in about 1130 onwards. Maybe it’s new hawker. Lontong and the thunder tea has the longest wait 😅

@@Piggypuggy hi update! i just went yesterday and most stalls are opened for dinner (past 6pm)!! the timing was possibly meant for the market instead of the food center
Hi Piggypuggy was there last weekend, many stalls dont open early. Perhaps more like Bedok 85, late opening. Had the Muslim food and cost $9 !!! The Fried porridge is from the outlet featured by you in Bt Timah. Only 1 Kopi stall and using machine to brew . . . waiting time longer :( soon no need "tao chiu" to brew kopi any more.
Maltese biscuit?? LOL maltese is a type of dog breed. That carrot cake stall is from Bedok Interchange! Wow my favourite black carrot cake stall opens another stall.
@@choonthor4769 No LOL...it is a traditional chinese pastry with maltose filling inside..as the chinese name indicated as well...ma ti su. Guess you are not familiar with traditional pastries.
My top choice probably would be the Saudagar Penyek... the Kremes.. wow... reminds me of good old Indonesia.. and the owner seems like a nice smiley friendly chap.
Been to Bedok 85. I videoed them before. The famous feng Shan hawker Bak Chor Mee. I used to go there for supper in the 90s late at night. The queue here just shows how popular they are
Yah it does right? I was hungry and wanted to try it.. in fact I wanted to try quite a few things there. The Bak Chor Mee now no need travel all the way to Bedok

😂🤣😅 that was what I was asking him about.. why Ayam Penyat (flattened chicken) so he explained it’s an Indonesian style of dish.. they wanted to make it easy to eat and show how juicy it is inside
@@Piggypuggy Not my cup of tea. I will not go for this type of indonesian flat chicken. Furthermore, I could not see the juicy side of it as he claimed. Hahaha

Hehe.. remembered you suggested it. The reason why there’s no old folks.. maybe it’s a younger estate.. or maybe it’s too ex for older folks to accept. They’re still in the $2 world. Most new fc have all e nice n delicious Chinese food unlike Margaret Dr fc Not even a stall selling Chap Chai rice for lunch n dinner.
