My goal is to "NO SPEND" on non-essential items for the rest of 2025...canceled amazon prime/hulu/netflix the day after xmas!!! Great vid just subbed... 👍👍👍
In 2024, I saved a lot of money by doing this as well as my own method: I do not order take-out at all unless I really have to (forgot food at home or I'm hungry while out and about.) 1x/Week, I *grocery shop* for perishables. 1x/Month, I *bulk buy* non-perishables what I'm running out of. I make my own coffee/tea and bring my lunch to work. (I lost weight that way, too! 😁) My pet 🐩/🐈 food is bought 2x/Month I'm single, so I take myself out on dates 1x/Week and go to grand outings 1x/Month. (I'll do this alone or with friends) These all could be going to the movies, matinee, opera, ballet, museum, etc. Again, I saved so much, and I'm sure *people with families will save as well!* 😊
This is great. And also shows how everyone is different and one needs look at what applies to you. For instance for me, travel and paying off my mortgage are my focus. I hope to get a dog in the near future but as for now it is just me. I love to travel internationally, for instance last year I spent a week in Peru and 3 week solo trip in Japan. This year I plan to travel for 3 weeks in Europe. So all though I love to do all those things you have listed, I have to keep my focus to only free things for the next quarter. At the end I will evaluate and see how things are. One of the best things I have done is to track my expenses. Since Mint died, I do this manually using Google sheets. I only wish I started this 10 years ago.
Developing a meal planning schedule, along with stocking your pantry with essentials you'll eat on a regular basis (such as rice, beans, flour, sugar, etc) is so helpful to save money. I batch cook my meals once a week to make sure I can feed my family without takeout. So affordable, especially if you visit a WinCo. Hitting up local farmers markets for your fruits and veggies can also be a great deal!
This list is fantastic! I need it this year. I actually had to ween myself off of Temu. Good grief, I just wasted money buying unnecessary items on that website. And no more new iPhones until they make one that can do my laundry and cook. Seriously. I'm still paying off the phone I brought for my birthday in July. I'll keep your list as a screen shot on my desk top as a reminder. Thanks for all the great tips this year, see you in 2025!
I had to put the breaks on Temu purchases too. When I looked back at how much I had spent on Temu, I immediately stopped🛑 I made Zero purchases last year.
I don't know where you live but here in the UK most mobile service providers sell their own stock of refurbished phones. These are phone that have been returned during their 13 day 'cooling off' period, so they are practically new! If there are any issues with the phone you can either exchange for another or cancel. These are usually much cheaper than buying brand new and have a lasting warranty from a reputable company.
I'm doing a no spend first quarter...if it goes well, I will go longer, wish me luck!! Never done a spending freeze, and often browse online to pass time...shopping addiction is a problem for me. I've been watching all the videos to get me through!!❤❤❤
Here’s to manifesting greatness, prospering, and soaring like stars together, one step at a time! Best wishes to all, sending good vibes, and subscribed ❤️🔥🧿✨💫💐
I'm going to subscribe to follow this low buy // no buy. Im determined in 2025. Make more videos , don't let me down. I'm using you for encouragement 😁 thanks
Girl, yes!!!! 💥 TY for your fire here!! Also, I work in the home organizing/decluttering space and the rarely used, hoarding of overpriced + trending kitchen gadgets are a THING! 🤦🏻♀️
I have no need for door dash with all these restaurants within 5 minutes of me, I could just jump in my car and go get it and be back within 10-15 minutes. These days I don't even want to get fast food due to the increasing prices and decreasing quality and customer service. The last time I got fast food meals for a family of 3, it was almost $40...FORTY DOLLARS?!? For a burger, fries and shake x 3. When I'm running my errands and whatnot, I see these long drive-thru lines at fast food places and just chuckle and shake my head. I'm not doing it no more!!!
I can do better! The duplicates are real 😂. I bought what I wanted during the holidays and now it’s my annual pullback. I “invested” in a new toolkit so I can do repairs; liners for my slow cooker and an Instant Pot to make cooking over the weekend a little easier for me. I’m evaluating my budget and savings accounts. I will mend my garments when necessary. Decluttering and organizing are ongoing projects. Thanks for the pep talk!
I really appreciate your efforts! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
The only thing I have to disagree with heavily is the Just In Case buys. Nuh-uh, madame. It’s more important now more than ever to be a prepper. These wildfires, floods, hurricanes, pandemics….the incoming administration does not give two flips about you or your well-being. You better be able to prepare and take care of yourself when SHTF. Especially if you can save money by buying now while things are cheap rather than later when prices jump due to whatever reason. They’re also repealing a lot of accountability for companies in this country so if there’s something you like….you buy it and hold it cause the quality (and safety) of a lot of things are gonna go downhill. 😅 Save, save, save…I hear this a great deal from people, yeah? But if the dollar is facing a crisis…money might be useless
and of course....*SAVE* your "savings"
you might want to pin this (your) comment so it doesn't get lost in the other comments? love your great content.
@ Thx!
Thaaaaaank YOU!!!🙏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🫂
Another motivation: billionaires can’t be billionaires without working class America buying from them. Make 2025 a no-buy year!
One 'no-buy' month per quarter! It works!!

I had a conversation with my daughter this morning. We are saving our money to purchase a CD (certificate of deposit).
about to get settled out for my accident and this is my FIRST step! with discover or chase

you're better than Temu!
I had to put the breaks on Temu purchases too.

@@CharTurner6928 Yep! I"m done with Temu. And congrats to you!
@@AmyAllways I'm in USA never heard of this before but will look into it. Thanks for info.

The list of a "no" spend on certain items was a great reminder for me. THANKS!
Canceled Amazon prime membership a few weeks ago. Today I just canceled my Sam’s club membership as well.
Thank you 🎉 .... my stuff is old, doesn't match but when I open a drawer what I need is there !
I'm so determined to do this and reset my life in 2025.
I already started. Only food and necessities. And I’m buying local and black if possible for those
"I do not have a problem." I love it! Thank you for this list. It's going to help ALOT!

Welcome and thanks for wathching!
Ok This is good. This is the best approach to no/low buy that I have seen. Replace not add - I need this.
I'm going to subscribe to follow this low buy // no buy. Im determined in 2025. Make more videos , don't let me down. I'm using you for encouragement 😁 thanks
i am a “just in case” buyer 😭 def heard you!

I need to be more obedient, especially with eating out. And been focusing on purchasing things I don't need , but want.
I’m doing my first low spend year and having been following your channel for years. I’m excited to make it a way of life hopefully!
Love all your videos, looking forward to applying your advice into the new year ❤
@@RaeC5280 Thank you!
Thanks for the 2025 frugal tips
Love different no buy focus each month.
Doing INVENTORY is a must for me to try to implement-I waste a LOT of money bc I fail to do this. Excellent and appreciated tips.

Looking forward to the no buy challenges
Thank you ❤🙏🏽
I'm here for it, Ready, So Excited to Surprise Myself on the Daily with my Resolve!!!
Great video!!!
Im doing this for my annual international vacation
This was really good!!!
Saving for trips & investing this year. No new shoe purchases till July.
Great tips. Thank you and have a blessed, fulfilled 2025!!!
Same to you!
Great list! The “just in case” buys is my weakness. I currently have ten bags of dates I got on clearance for a steal that I now need to preserve.
Thank you I needed this.
Yeah that buying duplicate items is real...soon as you get home and look on the shelf....there it is...now you have 4 of them
This is feasible for me. The only two things I’m battling with are an Apple Watch and a handheld blender.
Thanks!

THANK YOU.
Amazing! Subscribed 👍
Welcome!
Great list!
2025 is going to be a tough year, everyone can tighten their belt and make it work though. I think there might be quite a few rainy days....
lol I don’t have a Grubhub problem either. I buy it once maybe every other month. But pickup is a good idea compared to delivery ;)
I need to watch that again‼️
Yes ma’am!!
I like this!❤
Easy for me this year…there’s no money to spend. And credit cards in Italy work differently so we have no credit unless we ask for a loan.
For me shop my stash. After this sas tho...
Doing a buy in Jan my bfs bday is in March!
Not all of us have a car btw. Cooking at home is the best bet. 🤣🤣
Food actually can taste better! I hate when I used to go out and I could make the food at least or better by myself.
Almost bought a Telfar bag and wallet today😅

Deleting Uber eats today on 1/2/25 😊

The best way to save money is to not own a car.

Negative. Do every single one of these every day! FOREVER.
TIPPING- YOU GOTTA STOP TIPPING. HELL IF THE PEOPLE YOU WERE TIPPING KNEW WHERE THAT DERIVED FROM THEY WOULDNT WANT IT EITHER.
