Call your oncologist. Mine gave me a pill to take for two days after treatment. I was never ill. There are so many advancements today...do not suffer! Prayers for you.

Enigma Vortex I understand that. The pills were extremely expensive in 2002 but they were worth every penny. I was able to work four days after chemo. I had chemo; surgery; 2 positive lymph nodes; chemo; taxol infusions ad radiation. Then surgery again. I was stage three and it is still in remission all these years later. I just hate to see her suffer. Some oncologists are "rough" and expect you to be brave. It would be worth investigating. I am not trying to be adversarial...it is so hard to go through. 😊

Hey Sweetie, no apologies EVER!! Don’t worry about what you are wearing. Just stay strong and don’t be embarrassed. You are not going through this alone. Hang on to those moments that bring you smiles - like enjoying your TCBY, laughing with your aunt, and decorating for Christmas. Go ahead and cry. We’ll cry with you and love on you. Sending you continued love, prayers, and support!❤️

Trust me, I can tell you are so much stronger than I was-please believe me when I say that if I could do it, I know you will make it through this! Prayers for you and your family. You are so special to them. I love you and your family!

I'm sure it's hard to read through every comment, but I hope you see this. Look up "Napoleon Lemon Sours" on Amazon. They were my saving grace during chemotherapy. I also made sure to get plenty of Zofran and Phenergan so I could try and stay on top of the nausea. I hope it gets better for you. Never feel bad for crying or staying in pajamas all day. Chemo is hard, but you'll get into a routine. You're doing so amazing with it! If your tastebuds change, just listen to what your body wants. I went from having a salty tooth to having a sweet tooth. Also sending hugs to your mom

Man you got me so emotional. I'm just starting with the whole brain tumor diagnosis. I admire you so much. I hope this gets better for you & you can finally be done with the treatments. And your Mom, I don't even know where to begin, I just love her. She is what everyone wishes for in a Mother. You're so very lucky to have her as your Mother. She's been through so much the last year with your dad passing away & your brain cancer diagnosis, she is SO strong it's unbelievable & such an amazing woman, she continues to care for you, get herself up everyday & go to work. You guys are both such strong, amazing & inspirational ladies. I will be praying daily, for both of you to catch a break because you both deserve it & more. Stay strong ladies 🙏🏼❤️

I couldn’t help but cry along with you,
I had liver cancer as a young kid and I just remember how terrible Chemo was and how much I wished it was over every second of every single day of treatment, how much I wished everyday for everything to go back to normal and get to be with my friends and my family but my weak immune system and young age made it so I couldn’t see anyone I loved most, not without proper extensive PPE. Now here I am, 17 years later, spending 8 years in remission and now finally considered “cured”. I can say every second of all of the agonizing pain, heartache and loneliness is worth it. I now thank chemo every day of my life for letting me be able to live everyday of my life.
Stay strong Courtney, we all have hope for you and have so much support for you. You’re such an incredibly strong woman and you have an equally strong woman helping you every step of the way! It’ll all be worth it soon 💞

Ugh. This video was heartbreaking for me. I can see where you get your strength. Your mom has to be the most incredible woman on this Earth. She has taught you to put one foot in front of the other even when you think you can’t. Sending positivity your way sweetheart. Please also tell your mom that she is in my thoughts too. I can not imagine the death of my husband after almost 31 years. What a hard day her anniversary must have been for her. I stand in amazement of you both. As a mom I know that your child being sick and not having the ability to fix it is the most helpless feeling in the world. That alone must be so difficult then add the loss of your dad her life partner and she has a job? I can’t begin to comprehend such loss and sadness. Bless her heart and let her know that we see her, all she has gone through and all that she does. I know this is your channel but your family is part of you- what an amazing example she sets, my heart as a wife and a mother is with you both.

Courtney, you have some really great comments below. Please scroll down towards the bottom. There is one person wanting to knit you anything you want, including hats, mittens, animals, etc. Several people looking for a PO Box to send you things. Also, a great number of very awesome comments. Please DO NOT second guess your treatment option, especially based on how poorly you may feel right now. One person below had a good point, instead of counting up on the number of days, count down. Count down to make the numbers less and also to give you hope seeing the end in sight. Another person said to set a reward for the end of chemo so you have something to look forward to. You have an awesome fan base and great, encouraging comments. Only a couple I wish I could delete for you but I can't, just please overlook the untimely advise. Just remember, this is just temporary and this too shall pass. You will be feeling good as new soon enough. Hugs and love.

I was intoxicated with a substance that is used in chemotherapy and also uranium, mercury and tin and other heavy metals. I was so sick and dying 2 years ago. I can perfectly understand you. My hair was falling like crazy, I lost more than half of my hair, and I still struggle getting my hair back. I am with you 100% Stay strong. We are praying for you. Much love. xo

Get a very good juicer and start juicing fresh vegetables and fruits, because vitamins and minerals contain antioxidants and help you with chemo. Also, they help you detox and that is going to strengthen your immune system and a strong immune system will fight cancer back. Cancer is the result of a week immune system. Please consider a detox. I think chemotherapy and radiotherapy are so destructive, they weaken the body even more and leave side effects years later. Love you. Praying you get well soon. xo

She never complained. I always knew she was a strong woman but, until seeing what you are going through, I never realized how hard it must have been for her to put on a front for us. I never knew how bad chemo was. Thanks to you i know more than ever what an amazing and strong woman she was. You will get through this. You are doing a great job. I can't imagine the struggle.

I smoked a pack of cigarettes a day. You, yes because of you and my children and the fact that my mom has COPD (she's not smoked in 5yrs) you all have given me the strength to quit! I'm working on it day by day and it's getting easier. I've not had a cigerette in 3weeks! I'll continue to pray for you and I. God bless you...😊😙

Okay this ls so realistic...like this right here is life as sucky as it may be but Lord is she strong! She wakes up every morning for this week knowing itll get worse and worse and still manages to smile throughout the day..she still enjoys her food and her mom...id want to die. Courtney, this video made me cry a lot because i cannot beging to imagine the pain and the anxiety and i Pray to God he'll get you through this. May the Lord hold your and your moms hand and walk along with you. May he give you peace at night so that your body can rest and get better. You will get though this and you are so strong. Not only all of us are proud of you, imagine your students how strong you may be to them...maybe a friend of them or a relative are going tru chemo and you are helping us, who are blessed yet not worthy of health, to understand cancer and chemo treatment so we can be understanding and caring for all of them who are going tru this. I love you sosososo muchhhh

I don't have cancer, but several serious issues, some which require chemo at lower doses. Yes, I've felt like I wanted to die, but it's either you die, which is also hard...or you find some reason to live, even if it's a little thing. It's easy to say you'd want to die until you're thrust into a situation during which you had to make that choice...which might surprise you. Luckily, Court most likely will be able to end chemo in several months and I hope she never has to do it ever again!

You are so brave to be showing this to the world. You should be so proud of yourself for having the courage to be completely vulnerable in probably the hardest time you will go through in your life. Thankyou for sharing this. You have made me appreciate life so much more, I am grateful to be healthy. My dad passed away from cancer when I was three and was told he had 6 months to live, but he turned that into 6 years. He went through chemo for a lot of those 6 years and he put on the same brave face you are right now. Don't give up and keep on fighting. You can do this!! ✊️ Sending you lots of well wishes and virtual hugs from Australia. We are all here for you ❤️❤️❤️

I know this may be a bit controversial, but have you looked into medical marijuana? When my husband was going through chemo it was the only thing that helped his appetite and helped him sleep.
You may want to speak to your doctors about whether it's an appropriate avenue for you.
    Good luck. You're doing great!
