This is my opinion on the vlogging please no one take it in a rude mean way, but Courtney you are perfectly normal that's what I personally love. I think some other RUclipsrs try to plan big events etc for the vlogs alone to make it seem like that's what you have to do during the holiday season. But some of us can't afford that, I personally like seeing vlogs that are real life because that's what the majority of us have, normal lives. I'm at work watching you right now lol not in a fancy vacation spot. Hope it makes sense, but needless to say I love your hospitality and normalness is a breath of fresh air. ❤️

Courtney, I'am glad you will be getting a lower dose of chemo. When my husband started hid 5 day 23 off the chemo was very strong and the platlets were too low, once they went back up they put him on a lower dose of chemo and he has not had a problem since. SO you will probable do much better once your chemo is lowered so hang in there sweetie ! 😊

My coworkers daughter is currently going thru chemo and what has helped her platelets increase is coconut water. not sure if you have looked into ways to increase just trying to help. Keep it up girly ! I’m glad to see normalcy.

chemo knocked my sister around to. she had to stay in hospital actually. she had both her breasts removed. shes still going strong. you will be fine. just more annoying than anything. good luck.

I really really enjoy your vlogs and I can see how frustrated you are with all this medical stuff. I just wanted to encourage you - we went through this up and down platelet issue and chemo with my Dad. It took his doctors about 6 months to figure out the correct dosage of chemo so that his platelets would stop dropping but he's now doing great. It's frustrating in the short term but one day soon all of this will be behind you!

Hi Courtney after watching your videos and seeing that you have been having issues with your plate lids I wanted to share something with you. My husband is 32 and was recently diagnosed with a stage 4 brain cancer. This is his second brain tumor. Back in 2010 he was diagnosed with a stage 2 tumor and he underwent radiation and chemo just like you are. He hated it as well. So when he was diagnosed with the second tumor in October he decided not to do radiation and chemo. He didn’t want to have to go through it again. Let me tell you it wasn’t an easy decision we prayed about it. He decided to go the holistic route. He is taking a lot of natural pills and changed his diet. He’s had this tumor since December of last year and it only started to grow in July. We wouldn’t of never known he had this second tumor if it wasn’t for his follow ups he did for his first tumor. He didn’t have nor has he had any systems. And they type of tumor he has a aggressive one. At the end of the day it’s your life your decision. But I felt like I needed to share this with you since I know you’ve been having issues with your blood work. You may want to look into a holistic doctor maybe they can help you put up your plate lids. My husband never had issues with his plate lids dropping I would make him a beet juice and I think that helped him a lot during his chemo. I also wanted to let you know that I have you in my prayers. 🙏🏼
I have PTSD and panic attacks from going through similar (but much less) things when i was a kid. I cant even watch you get your blood drawn because it gives me anxiety, but i still watch your videos because I genuinely want to know how you're doing. Youre so brave, and I really look up to you for that.

Courtney you are doing SO well! My mother in law has just completed her chemo this week and man has it knocked her around. The low platelets are extremely common in chemo. It sucks. Hopefully with the chemo levels being adjusted your platelets will increase. Your videos put a smile on my face and I am rooting for you!

I'm subscribed to another youtuber that is down to earth like you and she doesn't go out and makeup over the top things to do for vlogging. She did a vlog of her boyfriend putting up Christmas lights outside the house, she did some decorating in her living room and then they went to dinner. She'll vlog going shopping, putting up her Christmas tree. Normal. There are alot of over the top fake RUclipsrs that probably make outrageous vlogmas vlogs. I look forward to watching yours and her vlogs. Don't change yourself for anyone. Your beautiful, smart, funny and uplifting even after everything you have gone thru and still are going thru. I love the normal life videos and I love the fact that you have a cute homey room and live with your mom it's so relatable! Sometimes other you tubers make me feel bad for not constantly doing things and being dressed up and having an amazing house so I love watching your videos and I just like your personality!
Your vlogmas is so much more real and I just don't really get into others. I have a medical situation going and knowing that someone else is really over going to the doctors and all the appointments as well makes me feel more normal too. My last surgery was botched so I have to have it done again. If there is infection in the joint, then I have to have all parts removed, go through antibiotic therapy for 6 weeks, off it for 6 weeks and then get the replacements put in all over again. So, I'm looking at at least one more surgery, maybe 2. I don't know yet. Ugh. Time crunches and scheduling difficulties make it drawn out. I see you hanging in there so I know I can too. Come on, platelets.....grow!!! Right?

Try eating papaya everyday. Im convinced thats what helped my moms platelet count go up when hers got really low with chemo !!

Hi Courtney after watching your videos and seeing that you have been having issues with your plate lids I wanted to share something with you. My husband is 32 and was recently diagnosed with a stage 4 brain cancer. This is his second brain tumor. Back in 2010 he was diagnosed with a stage 2 tumor and he underwent radiation and chemo just like you are. He hated it as well. So when he was diagnosed with the second tumor in October he decided not to do radiation and chemo. He didn’t want to have to go through it again. Let me tell you it wasn’t an easy decision we prayed about it. He decided to go the holistic route. He is taking a lot of natural pills and changed his diet. He’s had this tumor since December of last year and it only started to grow in July. We wouldn’t of never known he had this second tumor if it wasn’t for his follow ups he did for his first tumor. He didn’t have nor has he had any systems. And they type of tumor he has a aggressive one. At the end of the day it’s your life your decision. But I felt like I needed to share this with you since I know you’ve been having issues with your blood work. You may want to look into a holistic doctor maybe they can help you put up your plate lids. My husband never had issues with his plate lids dropping I would make him a beet juice and I think that helped him a lot during his chemo. I also wanted to let you know that I have you in my prayers. 🙏🏼

I have PTSD and panic attacks from going through similar (but much less) things when i was a kid. I cant even watch you get your blood drawn because it gives me anxiety, but i still watch your videos because I genuinely want to know how you're doing. Youre so brave, and I really look up to you for that.
You are such an absolute sweetheart. No need to compare yourself to other vloggers. I think a lot of people will back me up on that.

I can only imagine how frustrating it is! You are so young! And having your body not do what you want it to do is upsetting. I am so sorry you have to go through this. Courtney you are doing SO well! My mother in law has just completed her chemo this week and man has it knocked her around. The low platelets are extremely common in chemo. It sucks. Hopefully with the chemo levels being adjusted your platelets will increase. Your videos put a smile on my face and I am rooting for you!
Hi Courtney, don't worry about your vlogmas vlogs. Most people's lives are pretty much the same meaning mundane. I'm subscribed to another youtuber that is down to earth like you and she doesn't go out and makeup over the top things to do for vlogging. She did a vlog of her boyfriend putting up Christmas lights outside the house, she did some decorating in her living room and then they went to dinner. She'll vlog going shopping, putting up her Christmas tree. Normal. There are alot of over the top fake RUclipsrs that probably make outrageous vlogmas vlogs. I look forward to watching yours and her vlogs. Don't change yourself for anyone. Your beautiful, smart, funny and uplifting even after everything you have gone thru and still are going thru. I love the normal life videos and I love the fact that you have a cute homey room and live with your mom it's so relatable! Sometimes other you tubers make me feel bad for not constantly doing things and being dressed up and having an amazing house so I love watching your videos and I just like your personality!
Your vlogmas is so much more real and I just don't really get into others. I have a medical situation going and knowing that someone else is really over going to the doctors and all the appointments as well makes me feel more normal too. My last surgery was botched so I have to have it done again. If there is infection in the joint, then I have to have all parts removed, go through antibiotic therapy for 6 weeks, off it for 6 weeks and then get the replacements put in all over again. So, I'm looking at at least one more surgery, maybe 2. I don't know yet. Ugh. Time crunches and scheduling difficulties make it drawn out. I see you hanging in there so I know I can too.
