Hi Courtney! I'm biophysicist who does cancer research, specifically lung cancer. Hearing you talk about how you're willing to do tests and such to figure out the root cause of this is SO awesome because people like you are how us sceintists can figure it out! PLEASE see if there are any clinical trials you can participate in--not the ones where you take experimental medication, but ones that you just give some samples of your own (your blood, skin cells, etc)! Getting human specimens from people with the disease is SUCH a valuable and necessary tool for cancer researchers to figure out how it started and how we can cure and diagnose better. Sending you love

rororoyourboatful when my 13 yr old son had Scoliosis surgery. Having his spine fused. I was asked by his doctor the leading scoliosis doctor in the world if they could take his blood and keep it stored so they can do future research to see if they can find a cure for scoliosis. I immediately told him yes. Apparently he had a more rare type than normal. I think it would be awesome if they could find a cure and my sons blood was used to find it.

Courtney thank you for being so vulnerable and courageous for continuing to share your story and thoughts and fears with us. You’re not alone and watching you makes me realize that I’m not alone either. I wonder why things happen the way they do. But sometimes I think we’re just not meant to know, at least right now. You’re an incredible and beautiful person. I think your theory is totally valid btw.

This resonates sooo much. My boyfriend was diagnosed with a really bad brain tumor this August and was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer. He's had surgery, radiation and now doing chemo. On top of that, my dad is also fighting a form of rare blood cancer. It's crazy how anxious and scared we all get around treatment, every single time. No matter how well we're all doing between the treatment, and how strong/positive we try to be, when chemo comes around it's like I'm hit with this intense anxiety realizing what's happening to those I love around me. I also have so many theories about my boyfriend's tumor, especially since his is common in young children, so for him to have that at 22 is extremely rare and unlikely. I may not know exactly what you're feeling because I personally don't have cancer, but I empathize strongly with you. A lot of the time we will just never know what caused the tumor/cancer, but pushing research is so important. Proud of you :)
P.S You have no idea how watching your journey has helped me and my boyfriend so much. Thank you for being so open and honest with us. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Multiple cases of brain tumors within a small neighborhood isn't common. It's not an impossibility by any standard but it sure does raise some questions along with the hair on the back of my neck. With the other two cases, did they have the same type of tumor as you did? Also, how old are they & how long have they been in your neighborhood? Do you happen to know?

I was diagnosed 06/19/2016 with Glioblastoma brain cancer, the worst of the worst. There were 7 of us including myself diagnosed with GBM, everyone has since died except me, still here fighting 4years & 6months. I live in Whitby, Ontario. I went to the office of my Liberal MP Celina Caesar-Chavannes and told her within 3 years of Hydro forcing the Smart Meters on our homes we all got brain cancer and how that is very strange. She said she would look this and get back to me but she later blocked me. She had sent my concerns to former Canadian Health Minster Ginette Petitpas Taylor who responded to me in a 3 page letter telling me that although the Region of Durham has been
scrutinized for high cancer rates there is no evidence that the two hydro plants in Whitby & Darlington are the cause of this and there is not enough evidence to prove this at this time, Odd thing is my letter to her I never mentioned the power plants🤨 I also sent a letter to Whitby Mayor Don Mitchell and he responded saying he wasn't aware of any smart meter issues and would have his cso look into this but then he too blocked me. After 2years Hydro agreed to removed the smart meters for a cost to me for a one-time fee of $2500 plus additional costs for get back my analog meter and in the meantime until I pay them that money they had disconnected the radiation component of my smart meter. The government knows that's going on Trust Me! Also watch "Take Back Your Power" by Josh Del Sol @ RUclips and Dr. Devra Davis of Environmental Health Trust. You see that's happening and the coverup. And don't even start with non-ionizing radiation causes no harm because a meeting was held with all world leaders including two reps from Canada last week on the update re: the NTP studies results showing non-ionizing radiation does in fact show long term harm to the brain.

I totally understand what you’re saying. I’m 38 & on my sixth brain tumour but at least I know they’re caused by radiation I had as a child for cancer. The thing is everyone else who was treated at the same time as me is absolutely fine and healthy which is fantastic so your virus trigger idea really makes sense. You could get someone to look into if there’s any excess radiation where you live? I don’t know how you’d go about it but it maybe worth a try. All I do know for sure is that I appreciate your videos and I look forward to them, I think you’re amazing, beautiful and an inspiration! xx💕

It sucks that you got radiation as a child but tumors have nothing to do with viruses. It’s all in your genes and the possibility of getting cancer after radiation. Not all people get it and it’s also different on the type of cancer and the latency of the period you get the cancer. Every doctor would explain the same to you with some other details. I myself am studying to be a doctor so I can definitely tell you it’s not a virus to blame unfortunately. Wish you all well!

I think it's awesome that you're questioning this. Besides the water, I would also consider looking into EMF pollution (maybe there is a lot of cell towers near your neighborhood) or air pollution (like if you live near a busy freeway or close to a power plant that emits heavy metals into the environment), or maybe the build of the houses in your neighborhood have issues with mold or maybe the houses are older they used paint with lead in it? Just some things to think about.

  • @kg7464
    @kg7464 6 лет назад +143

@courtelizz1 have you ever heard of the "two-hit hypothesis" ? I'm in medical school and that is honestly what you were trying to explain by everyone "has it" and is the explanation for a lot of cancers especially when it comes to genetic susceptibility like BRCA1/2. You should do a 23& me or some other genomic analysis to see if you have any known underlying mutation that would predispose you, it could be interesting! There was one offered by a pharm company that we used in the clinic I was at this summer that specifically that solely looked at these "cancer genes" and insurance would cover the testing if you met any of the criteria (which having cancer before ~40 is one of those). There are so many tumor suppressors, cell cycle control, DNA damage regulators, etc etc that we rely on daily and when that internal regulation is thrown off by anything (eg. chemicals in water like you were hypothesizing) is when we see cancer, autoimmune disease, etc. If you were to find a mutation that would predispose you to other cancers (not being pessimistic, but adventitious) it could mean that you could do more preventative screening to catch any changes early. Your theory on location and pathology is 100% correct though. I know my mom grew up on a uranium mine as a kid and all of those people are either dead of lung cancer, lung fibrosis, other random cancers, OR they have some sort of weird autoimmune disease.

Kylee Greider ...I was finally dx w/ 3c colon ca at 34; after suffering for a few yrs. Saw a geneticist. My paternal aunt died from BC at 40, paternal gpa had cc & passed at 86. My oncologist still looks at me curiously & is stumped as to why I had cc so young. I’ll be 10 yrs out in June. She told me yrs ago to watch for other cancers. She feels I am cured of cc, but that often times it’s then around 10 yrs when other cancers can show up. Lifetime of anxiety! 😞 Courtney...I know how you feel. It’s just our life. It’s what happened to us & sadly we are not alone. 💖

Get in touch with your local PUBLIC HEALTH AGENCY. Ask for a public health nurse and start with them to see if there might be an environmental connection. Go to government website and see if you can find stats for your area as well, mortality, birth and death rates, cancer rates. I’m in Canada so not sure how to get you started in the USA but I’m pretty sure you have Public Health there too.

Last year I qualified for a resection of my temporal lobe and I gladly took it. But because of the surgery i was left with several problems including speech and nerve damage. And ever since my brain surgery it has been just how you have said. You are such an inspiration to me. Because throughout everything I've seen in your channel, you really grab the bull by the horns. i too have Epilepsy though not as severe I have absence seizures. I was diagnosed at the age of 5 but have been seizure free since the age of thirteen and so was taken of meds which caused massive weight gain a hand tremor and memory loss. The point is meds are good up until a point an then it becomes a pill no pun intended. my triggers are flashing lights, specifically the transition from the out doors to inside a classroom getting too hot and recently sleep deprivation
After my father died, it seems I have had a relapse if that is possible. i still have my absence seizure but it is not enough to put me on meds . i have been getting driving lesson and have 10 -20 seizures in the drivers seat. i take omega 3 cod liver oil liquid form as i can not swallow pills this helps decrease the too -small -to -medicate -seizures i have very small seizures that show up on the EEG as misfired neurons and the Dr. called them "flurries" so here is what my flurries are typically like i will become very spacey i can not interact with my surroundings i also felt locked in to place.

I’m sure it is an environmental issue. I developed a blood cancer, and so did six others I grew with on the same block. We think it was a contaminant in the water or possibly mosquito spraying.

  • @XxKatStar
    @XxKatStar 6 лет назад +2

You are definitely right to be thinking this way. There are such things as cancer clusters that are due to environmental factors. In California there used to be a lab called Rocketdyne that did testing and the soil is contaminated. As a result, tons of kids in that area, and an area close by that the wind blows to have gotten cancer. There is a mom who who met tons of families from her neighborhood (Simi Valley and West Hills) in the hospital who had kids with cancer as well, and she talks about being conflicted with telling them. So YES, do research. Google cancer clusters, there might be companies out there that can do it for you. On a brighter note, your speech is amazing and you look great. Please keep sharing everything with us, we're always wishing you the best!

Do you live in an industrial area or by a mill/factory that outputs lots of pollution? I ask this because the neighborhood I grew up in was right next to a steel mill where they were notoriously fined and constantly being assessed by the EPA for pollutants. Both of my parents grew up in this neighborhood. My grandparents lived next door to each other (how my parents met). Some of my aunt/uncles still live on the same street. So get this...my paternal grandmother died of AML. My maternal grandfather died of lung cancer. My paternal uncle died of melanoma. My father thankfully survived colon cancer. My maternal uncle died of throat cancer. My best friend's grandfather, who lived across the street, died of renal cell carcinoma. ALL of these people lived in the same neighborhood next to this said steel mill. You cannot tell me that's just coincidence. It makes me very fearful. I am truly so sorry you're going through this. 💗 I watch all of your chemo vlogs and my heart breaks for you.

Where I grew up on Long Island, NY the ppl in our area 87 percent either had cancer or auto immune diseases. There were leaks from nuclear testing and we swam in the bay and ocean and lakes. I shared this video on Erin Brockovich's Facebook page... I live in Michigan, and grew up in Flint (but left in 2000, way before the Flint water crisis), and currently live not too far where they're having problems with Wolverine Worldwide contaminating the ground water which is causing unusually high numbers of cancer cases in the area. It would be awesome if Erin reached out to you (or you could also contact her), and see if there is any way she could help in getting your water tested, or find out if there is some other connection between you and the 2 other people in your neighborhood, because I do think it's strange that 3 of you, living so close together, all ended up with brain tumors.
Either way, I think you're beautiful, amazing, and an inspiration. You are a very strong woman, and your smile is contagious. Keep doing what you're doing! I love watching your videos. 😊

Hey girl, I totally relate to thinking, "How did this happen?!" I am not dealing with cancer, but I have obsessive compulsive disorder and agoraphobia. Not similar to cancer at all, but my daily life is so impacted by my disorder. I am totally housebound, I cannot eat what I want, I have weird, distressing thoughts, I become crippled with panic from eating a simple snack. I think back on how I was a few years ago, a normal college student, and look at myself today and I think , "How did this happen?!" I definitely think it's possible, and has actually been proven in prior instances, that it's not a coincidence that so many people around you also had unusual illnesses and brain tumors. It's almost as if whatever is causing it is particular to brain cell changes. I noticed from the vlogs that you live in an older home, and there seem to be older homes in your area. I wonder if there was a building material that a contractor used that could cause this. If the original owners of the homes had developed similar problems, there might not have been the diagnostic capabilities to identify it, not to mention that earlier deaths were more common than they are today.

That would be a fabulous vlog series. You could interview each person that has the turkey - spell check changed it from tumor. You could keep a spreadsheet of all the environmental factors and show us how you three compare to others in your area that don't have cancer. You can also do the DNA tests to see what genetic markers you have and whether your other family members have those same markers. I'm so excited by your enthusiasm! You could be a helper to cure cancer forever. 💪❤️👑

However, you are so brave for undergoing it, and you truly are an inspiration. Also, you offer some great theories for why people in your area are getting brain tumors. I know that other victims in different locations realized there was a large amount of cancer cases in their area, and they found out it was due to the factory waste in the area. Wow 3 people in the same vicinity have brain cancer caused by a virus? That does make you think. There is maybe something in the environment, most are immune to, yet affects some. Your theory makes sense to me. I always ask what I did that was so wrong to get everything I have plus nerve and brain damage. They say it is from a bad car accident I had however what I don't know is how it is going to affect me. I know it affects my memory, speech, ability to comprehend things that are simple like Lego instructions. It affects my reflexes on my right side (the damage is on my left side of my head) and vision too now. I would love if you could do a video about how brain damage on the left side of the brain affects us and what to expect. That is if you are comfortable with it. Love you so much Courtney! xo

Figuring it out is a great idea! Drs. are very vague when you ask them that question " how did this happen dr.?" I'm guessing clearly they really don't know and try to give the patients some types of reasons why a certain illness comes about and the Drs. aren't researching it because there in the business of getting it out of you and making you well again. But there are many people out there just like you that do all kinds of research to find out what happened to them. I think you should go for it! Lots of love sweetie!❤❤😊❤❤

Ever heard of Erin Brokavich? I 100% agree with you about the water. My friends parents both had different forms of cancer within a few years of each other. What are the chances of that?? I try not to drink the tap water and really shouldn’t even be cooking with it. Praying for your healing and understanding. Very noble of you to want to participate in research!

Hi Courtney. My son is an oncologist and he puts his patients on a ketogenic diet. It apparantly starves cancer and does rather well with brain cancer. The major hospital around here puts all of their pediatric cancer patients on this particular diet when they are admitted to the floor. Why don't you check it out? Also, data suggests that cell phone usage can cause brain tumors. Check out your local water authority's website and see exactly what is in your water. By law they need to tell you. See if there is above safe levels of hexavalent chrominum. Do you have high tension wires in your neighborhood? Check out a doctor in Florida called Dominic D'Agostino. He has written many articles in journals about ketogenic diets. Check also past articles in New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet. Good luck!!!

Yes. Everyone has cancer cells in their body almost all the time. The thing that prevents tumors from growing and metastasizing is your own immune system. Cancer becomes a disease when your immune system cannot keep the rogue cells in check. Your immune system could have been damaged by the virus and then it couldn't function normally. It would be interesting for you to sit down with the other brain tumor victims in your neighborhood and compare notes. Did you all have a virus around the same time? What else do you have in common?

I wrote before that my Mom had two brain tumors (Benign Meningiomas). The first was found when I was 4, the second found when I was 9.
When my Mom's first tumor was found when had lived in our newly constructed house for maybe 2 years. Before there were houses it was a huge walnut orchard. We know that because of the time the orchard existed they used really caustic chemicals as pesticides to stop blights and bug invasions. Then those trees and that ground was dug up and turned over and our houses were built on that land. How much caustic chemicals remained in the soil is unknown. How much of the soil was stirred up by the remaining agriculture fields surrounding our houses or our planting gardens and grass is unknown.
But my Mom was the first person in my childhood neighborhood to have a tumor of any type. Just as my Mom was finding out she had this brain tumor a few families who had dogs had to have them put down because the dogs developed aggressive tumors on their bodies. Not all the dogs on our street had this happen just a small number of dogs.
When my Mom's second tumor was found a few things had happened in the interim. Helicopters would fly over our houses at night and spray the agriculture fields next to and behind our housing tract. The people who owned the fields were using illegal pesticides like DDT and Boron to treat the fields. There were times when families or children would be outside playing or in their backyards and get the fine chemical spray on them. My Dad eventually found out that illegal chemical spraying was happening and it was stopped but it had been going on for at least 4 years.
So my Mom is found to have another brain tumor, another benign meningioma but its huge and has wrapped around her brain stem and is growing rapidly.
Okay this next stuff happened rapidly just on my street of 40 houses within a 3 year span.
The neighbors across the street son, who was a year younger than me, was found to have a malignant brain tumor and brain cancer. His Mom was found to have a benign meningioma brain tumor like my Mom's first tumor which was Golf ball sized.
The house behind that neighbor had yet another dog develop aggressive cancerous tumors and the dog's human developed a tumor in her eye I believe it was cancer, she had to have her eye removed along with some bone and the tumor.
Down the street from us a woman developed severe lung cancer. Yes she was a smoker but she went from no lung issues to stage 4 no cure, no treatment, you've got 3 weeks lung cancer in under a month.
Other side of street a Dad got a thyroid tumor, benign.
Further down the street, a little girl who was conceived and born while her parents lived on the street had a bizarre heart defect at birth which required a transplant. Other side of the street, middle aged dad gets tumor in bone of his leg.
The worst was a fireman at the end of our street on the same side as our house. They found a tumor in his lung, it was benign and removed. Then he develop leukemia, he went into remission. Then they found a brain tumor, benign, removed. Then all hell broke lose, during a routine checkup for his leukemia doctors found he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, his leukemia was back and a new brain tumor. He fought hard but all those earlier battles wore him down but still he lived though difficulty for 7 years after the whole shebang was discovered.
My Dad around the earlier 1990s found out he had a Pituitary Tumor. It was benign so he just lived with it. But my Dad was a Navy Lifer who during his service was sent to Vietnam. His construction battilion was sprayed twice with Agent Orange. He always worried about me because I was conceived after he returned from Vietnam. He also developed Early On-set Parkinsons Disease.
Then nothing. No one else in our neighborhood got a tumor or cancer. Nothing until 30 years later my sister who lived in our house from age 15 to 23 and moved out, got married and lived a mile away from where we grew up was diagnosed with Triple Negative Invasive Ductile Breast Cancer. It is not a cancer caused by hormones or genetics (as far as drs know right now) but its because something environmentally and her body didn't jibe and boom she gets the worst breast cancer a person can get. Drs said it is a one shot at treatment deal meaning if they did the hyperaggressive treatment and got her in remission and if later she developed any other cancer chemo and radiation treatment will have no effect at all. She beat it. She got to the 6 year mark where she could say she's in remission and now at year 8 or 9 out for finishing treatment her WBC and RBC count are dropping. She's feeling off. Having nosebleeds. But tests indicate no cancer anywhere in her body but she just isn't keeping up on making new RBCs and her WBC count can't be kept up. So she's on Neulasta until she can maintain RB production.
The CDC says our neighborhood when we moved in was a health hazard and that the resulting illnesses mean for the original residents its a cancer cluster. New residents the area tests clean. But every original resident has this in the back of their minds...am I going to develop a tumor or cancer or both? When? And how bad?
Environmental triggered cancer clusters happen, I grew up in one.

Omg I totally feel this. The town I used to live in 3 people on the same street had breast cancer, and then one day my mom woke up in extreme pain and it turns out she had a huge tumor on her uterus, then a few months later when I was getting a cat scan for a kidney stone they found a tumor on my adrenal gland. There was always some scandal going on in my town about the water, like there would constantly be reports of wells being contaminated and stuff. Like water was a huge topic in my town because there was always something wrong. My mom and I are TOTALLY convinced it was the water in our town that was giving everyone these tumors.

I do agree that that is extremely weird that 3 of you in a 2 block radius have brain tumors considering its less than a 1% chance. It could be water but also look at other environmental factors as well. I really hope you find some answers!

Courtney this video totally tugs at my heart strings! I fought cancer 9 years ago and it was so hard for me to understand why I got it. Why was it me and not someone else? Why did I lose my hair and have to go thru chemo and radiation? Why was I the one that got sick? I never was able to understand it but I was finally able to find peace in knowing it happened because it was God’s plan. Things will get better! I promise! It takes time but I promise you will feel back to your normal self. And you are going to feel like a superhero for beating cancer!! My dog died totally random back in November he was only 6 years old, he wasn't sick, wasn't hit by a car or anything at all, I let him out to go to the bathroom and he always comes right back and he wasn't waiting on the porch so I walked outside and he was dead in the yard. He was never the type to get into anything, it was so weird and totally random. I ask myself every single day why that happened to him, he was a good boy and didn't deserve what happened to him! 😞 Same with you! Courtney, you are/have such a beautiful soul. You are an inspiration to many. I absolutely love your mom. You gals are really made of tough stuff! Love you both.
I really think you are on to something. I, too, have had cancer. Mine came up after being a little sick for a few months. I went to the doctor then sent to cardiologist. This went on for a few months. They doing nothing but did adjust blood pressure meds on a Friday. Saturday night my husband rushed me to the er. He said I looked horrible. By the time we got there, I could not get out of the car by myself. Much testing went on and was given meds for the bad pain I was in. Finally was diagnosed with severe pancreatitis. Was admitted and blood counts got to a level that they could do surgery by Tuesday night and removed my gall bladder. Went home on Friday. The following Friday was Christmas and readmitted that afternoon because of high fever. They never came to a diagnosis on that one. Life went on but was slow getting well as I continued working all during this time. Towards the end of March I went in for my regular mammogram. I was called a few days later to go back in for more detailed test. Was scheduled for needle biopsy on April 1. Was diagnosed with cancer. Had mastectomy on April 15. Began chemo about four weeks later. My cocktail was if 3 chemo drugs and herceptin. Chemo did not go so good. My blood count was always so outta wack. Had 2 transfusions and 1 time also had platelets. Treatments were set up for every 3 weeks but didn’t finish 6 rounds until 9or so months later and continued herceptin to complete a years worth of treatment of that. My point being that I too think that when a body gets so, soooo run down is when the cancer cells take off and grow alike crazy. I so agree with your idea of the progression of cancer. It will soon be 8 years this spring that I was diagnosed and still my blood is not what it should be. I was told that this be my new normal. I did not get the last treatment of one of the drugs because the oncologist thought that it messed with my blood so much that I would next get leukemia. Crazy, ain’t it!!! Anyway, I love you two ladies and continually watch you everyday. Some videos more that twice!! I don’t know how I missed this one but did watch today and totally agree with you. Wishing you both,
    Love n Sunshine
    Linda

You are so incredibly strong and damn intuitive too! Other people have said it better than I can, but you pieced together the correlation between cancer occurrences in a local area and a trigger event as well as understanding that cancer is something that essentially everyone "has" but isn't a disease until the immune system backfires. And as someone who suffers from anxiety myself, I understand that feeling of anticipation and dread that works up the anxiety so much. Google the 5 senses grounding exercise, and every time you feel yourself getting anxious, do that. It has been a game changer for me. We're all rooting for you!

My sister got diagnosed with MS when she was just 24 so we always think it’s so strange how almost everyone has become sick and we all think it’s where they work. Apparently tests have been done on the building and there’s nothing wrong with it but we still all find it so strange.

Carbon monoxide poisoning (low or varying levels) can. Cause long-term damage to DNA and health problems. Buildings (even schools) aren't mandated to have detectors. Detectors don't even sound an alarm until CO levels are near deadly (unless you pay more for a sensitive tester). Low dose naltrexone (ldn) could be incredible and life changing for your sisters MS.

I’m not on chemo or radiation at this time but whenever I go into the oncologist office it hits me like a ton of bricks that this is “real”. I get anxious before my appointment and MRIs and after for a few days like yourself. I think it’s definitely something that causes Brian tumors. I keep hearing more and more about people having them as well. One of my doctors told me tho it’s from “nothing specific” I just got it... which I don’t believe! Anyways lol please keep sharing videos about what you’re going through it gives me comfort watching them. Feel better Courtney! You’re beautiful inside and out ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tabitha Kelley my mouth just dropped when she said that. About her and the people she knows with tumors.

I love listening to you talk about your cancer & your brain tumour. I don’t feel like there is enough talk around the subject of cancer and that’s not right. I lost my uncle to bowel cancer recently & I constantly think about how long he had cancer for before we found it and how it happened

Umm, I think that is very weird! Not only in your area, but you & your dad? That's crazy!!! That should def be looked into. But, that's just my opinion! I'm glad to see you doing so well.

I am so sorry you are having to deal with this, you are such a beauty and so effervescent and vivacious and full of life! You are the same age as my children and I wish and pray that this was not something you have to deal with .. it is so terrible ! I am originally from Michigan and transplanted to South Carolina (20 years ago), and I have been following your You Tube Video's.. and your progress. My prayers and hopes are with you during this battle with cancer.

So I can’t believe you are saying this.... My mom died of breast cancer. Her sister also had breast cancer. Almost every family, on the street where they grew up, now has someone diagnosed with cancer. They lived on a lake and believe the town chemical company was illegally dumping chemicals into the lake. They were all drinking the lake water... Cancer epidemiology is hard to track because everyone moves away from where they grew up.... I’m in medical school now to become a doctor. I’d love to try and figure this out

I don't have cancer but I am very sick and deal with a bunch of medical issues that randomly showed up while I was pregnant the second time. I've been in and out of nursing homes and hospitals and spend every day all day in bed for the past 6 years while trying to raise 2 kids and I'm only 26(I had kids very young But glad I did because getting sick at 20 I can't have kids now). The question why me happens a lot. There is no answer, there is no treatment, there's nothing. We have no idea what the future holds. It can feel very emotional at times. Yesterday I had trouble breathing and than seizure that left me unable to move for over an hr and unable to speak for almost 20hrs. Very hard on little ones who don't understand what's happening. I don't even understand it, how could they? I'm not going to list all my problems here, but my point is I understand how you feel. You have so many questions, and there's just not enough answers. Why is this happening? Is there something I could've or should've done differently? Am I being punished? What is the reason for this? Why is it happening And when will I be me again? Will I ever be me again? And as much as it sucks it really doesn't matter. None of those questions will change what's happening. I should've died 6 years ago when I went into cardiac arrest. Or during the hundreds of times I couldn't breathe. But I didn't. And even though I'm not me anymore, I do get to be here to see the people I love grow. So when I get emotional that's what I tell myself. All those questions don't matter, what matters is that we're still here. We get to see our family another day and they don't have to mourn us because we're still here. And that is a miracle.

You would love the book, Super Immunity, by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. He says that cancer is in all of us, but a weakened immune system can allow it to grow and multiply. Even if genetics play a part, he believes that a healthy diet can prevent even our genetic disposition to take hold and cause diseases. The best way to prevent cancer as well as other illnesses, from his point of view, is a whole food plantbased diet which makes us super immune. His book is very informative and life changing. Maybe you can read it. Hugs to you!

I love your videos so much, such an inspiration. But when I was younger and I believe it was my parents were telling me about what cancer is, they told me that everyone has cancer cells, but sometimes, it just happens or something can cause it, the cancer cells take over like the “good” cells and it kills the good cells and that’s how it spreads and how the bad cancer cells take over. Idk how accurate it is, but that’s what I was told.
Also, both of my grandparents and multiple people who lived on their block had cancer after their changed their water pipes quite a few years ago so I too believe it’s something in the water
