- Beating the Wind with a Waggler Float - The Waggler Float. Sometimes a strong wind can make it difficult to control your float which means your bait is not presented to the fish correctly. This means that you get less bites, or even worse, no bites at all.
Today, I show you how to get control of your Waggler Float in even a really strong wind. You will need a heavier float than in calm conditions, but it is still possible to have a great day and catch plenty of fish.

Good demonstration , you mentioned using a longer float , as my lake is only 3/4 feet deep , I always avoided the long floats in my box . Then I saw another gents channel with a diagram showing that with the longer float , the line is sunk deeper - obvious when you think about it , but I had not realised it. So now the longer floats in my box get used on windy days . I've also got some windbeater floats with fine antenna and big fat tip , but never used them so far .
Another great vid Den
Really useful. Thank you.
