Thanks! So nice to watch it from Russia. These old Sambo and Judo technics are very strong, because they incude physics. How to use your opponent's weight and power versus him - it was a key knowledge in Judo, and in Sambo too. In our times there are few coaches that can explain it and can teach it properly. Sad about it, because nowadays most of gyms for adults are 50-50 mcdojo or this type of gym, where coach teaches you how to be strong, how to win all competitions as a white-blue belt etc. Most of them just could not teach how to use your body and your opponent's power, 'cause it takes a lot of time.

One can feel that you want to convey it and that you are not only concerned with making a name for yourself. In this video you take yourself back completely and leave the shop on your stage to another master. Respect! A positive exception in a social media world that is otherwise characterized by ostentation, self-portrayal and staging.

This is pretty cool - I'm familiar with all of these throws... but strictly from a wrestling perspective.
I do jitsu now and dominate on my feet in no-gi, but these are all just seamless transitions of techniques I love using in no-gi and straight freestyle/folkstyle, but adapted for a gi.
Definitely need to work on incorporating them into my gi-game standup.
I may need to look into more stand-up sambo stuff in general if this is any indication. Just seems like it's freestyle techniques adjusted for a gi, which is perfect for what I need to work on without starting over.
