The muscle memory on this guy tho. Every movement fluid, smooth, powerful and reflexive. Exactly what mastery looks like.
🙏🏻
hes awesome!
That’s 40+ years on the mat, it’s crazy!
They start train very very young all day every day not like Americans
They start train very very young all day every day not like Americans
This is the second video I've watched this man teach in. I'm amazed at how clearly he explains not only the execution, but also the concept behind what you're doing. Keep this guy coming!
🙏🏻
Dude is the best. Remainds me my firts judo sensei he was an oliympian.
:)
@@johnboikov1360 I have been watching his instructionals on the grappler's guide. Not only is he a great teacher, lots of practical concepts and no extra talking but he's also a lefty which helps me a lot. He's got whole lessons on one type of grip on the grappler's guide.
@@MrWillown Oh cool! Which one's (or ones are) your favorite so far?
Very privileged to live in an age where we can access tips from a grappler with this kind of ability and teaching skill. Thanks Jeff
no prob!!
Freaking love this guy
Thank you 😊

Hey Jeff I just started training Sambo 3 weeks ago..I fell in love with it.I can see Sambo is growing at a very rapid pace all over. Please keep the Sambo videos coming.
more coming!
I wish we had sambo in my state
I'm still overwhelmed by how amazing an instructor this man is. The way he emphasizes the little subtle motions and gives clear instruction on the way to perform them properly and avoid common pitfalls is incredible. Someone who has truly put his passion from competition into teaching!
Thank you 😊
💪💪💪
In the future every mma fighter is gonna have to be excellent in Sambo, judo throws and clinch, wrestling if they want to be champions, this sport is evolving very quickly
:)
Sambo wrestling is the best wrestling style to train if you have to pick only one. No BS butt-scooting or anything, just pure self-defense. Super useful, and great for strength and cardio too.
"Jeff ain't no little bitch." So true!
hahahaha
This guy has definite experience in teaching, every question that pops up into my head while watching he covers it, how to entry into the move, what if no gi. Guy has all the answers gotta love him.
Cheers!
Хороший тренер! Грамотно все объяснил
This guy is an engineer the way he explains. Very impressive
Insanely articulated instruction
Great timing with UFC 280 main event
:)
Thanks! So nice to watch it from Russia. These old Sambo and Judo technics are very strong, because they incude physics. How to use your opponent's weight and power versus him - it was a key knowledge in Judo, and in Sambo too. In our times there are few coaches that can explain it and can teach it properly. Sad about it, because nowadays most of gyms for adults are 50-50 mcdojo or this type of gym, where coach teaches you how to be strong, how to win all competitions as a white-blue belt etc. Most of them just could not teach how to use your body and your opponent's power, 'cause it takes a lot of time.
cheers!!
True, it took me around 10 years to get my first degree black belt in judo, whilst kids I saw in Karate only had to be there for 5!
Great Sambo coach absolutely loving it !!
:)
His technique is so clean!! He does these movements smooth as hell
Oss!
The Mechanics make total sense. Superb lesson.
I love Sambo. Do more please.
more coming!
Everyone appreciates Vlad’s skills of teaching and I agree with it, but the other thing is his english speaking skills! I’m Russian too and as one who has been studying English for twelve years I’m amazed by his fluent speech
🔥🔥🔥
Спасибо братка
@@sambofusion9486 ,я заметил,что вы показываете им приемы на низкой скорости. Они же так не поймут силу броска.
Удачи вам,Влад. С прошедшими 7 Ноября.

Dude.... I've been grappling and training jiu jitsu for more than half my life. This guy is an incredible coach. Thanks for sharing.
A thing of Beauty-Had the pleasure of training with Vlad once in NYC-Much respect to You both!!
I am starting to comprehend why Khabib wore that shirt.. "If Sambo was easy, it would be called Jujitsu"
My Sambo teacher was not so careful about details. Being a master of sports does not mean being a good teacher. Respect.
This is very useful, I'd like to take on Sambo lessons.
I AM ABSOLUTELY DRILLING THIS WITH MY GUYS TOMORROW MORNING IN CLASS!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS DETAILED BREAKDOWN!!!
no problem!
Sambo does not have belts, he is a master of the sport.
Truly following Bruce Lee’s philosophy:
“Take all the effective techniques from all martial arts and throw away all the unnecessary techniques.”

Perfect timing of such video after Makhachev's win over Oliveira;)

Yup,, I just watch UFC, and this video pop up on recommended videos.

My great grandfather was a Ukrainian soviet officer, he practiced Sambo. I wonder how training used to be...
true!!
"Украинский советский офицер" 🤦♂️
@@mahmut7860 Украинец по национальности. В СССР было 15 республик, и десятки национальностей.
@@dgb0111 в СССР были советские люди, и ни кто не говорил "украинский советский офицер" , были Советские Офицеры, сейчас таких мало осталось

I seriously got so much out of this video. His instructions were simple and yet powerful. I struggle in my standing BJJ game and feel that these tips can help me improve in some of those aspects. Thank you, Jeff.

I do a stand up based Jiu Jitsu style and this is a really cool dimension how the principles of fluidity are a constant… Much respect.
More sambo tecniques!
More coming !
Hi Jeff, I just have to give you a big compliment at this point. Your videos are among the best in this segment. One can feel that you want to convey it and that you are not only concerned with making a name for yourself. In this video you take yourself back completely and leave the shop on your stage to another master. Respect! A positive exception in a social media world that is otherwise characterized by ostentation, self-portrayal and staging.
Absolute wealth of experience and knowledge, props ✌🏻

Great lesson tovarich 👊😊💯

damn this is really good....and beginner digestible. I can totally picture myself doing these. Great teacher
Smoothly and lovely
:)
we need some sambo schools in Minnesota!!!
This is pretty cool - I'm familiar with all of these throws... but strictly from a wrestling perspective.
I do jitsu now and dominate on my feet in no-gi, but these are all just seamless transitions of techniques I love using in no-gi and straight freestyle/folkstyle, but adapted for a gi.
Definitely need to work on incorporating them into my gi-game standup.
I may need to look into more stand-up sambo stuff in general if this is any indication. Just seems like it's freestyle techniques adjusted for a gi, which is perfect for what I need to work on without starting over.
cheers!
We do those in Judo!
