Just copped these when they were on sale. Like you said, aren't really for shifty guards. I can't explode out of them from side to side as well as my Kobes or Puma Clydes. Might return mine back to Nike or I might try it for another week to see if I can get it to work.
Super bouncy, but if you want the same amount of bounce and maybe a little bit more I’d say, the TRC by puma is awesome budget friendly also. I’ll add something more, if you really want the bounciest shoes on the market tho you gotta go with the GT Jump but they go from 200$+

I've had mine ALMOST a week now and they are taking FOREVER to break in... How long was your break in period so you think? They DO make you faster and bouncier but having flat feet had left something to be desired of for for fatigue, under arch achiness and if I wear too think of a stuck they rub horrendously on only my right pinky toe. I purchased the EBYL version low and the color way is the duchess I've ever seen! I've been given several complements by other players who have asked what are they and what color is that!?! Definite neck snappers so I'm HOPING they'll break in within the next couple of weeks as my men's league begins this Sunday.
idk if you already returned em or not but rip out that insole and replace it with a move game day one and you’ll be set. i also have flat feet and the 36’s with that insole are the only shoe i can comfortably hoop in for hours

I’ve had the same problem with these man… great bounce at the rim but I can’t hesi on a defender when I slip everytime I move sideways 😂
