How about a video in which you go to a new spot and explain your progression regarding finding and catching fish. I struggle with new places sometimes. Thanks. I'm also a huge fly fisherman.

Hey Ben- you’ve definitely hit the sweet spot for anglers like me- been fishing for three years, or 30; read “the book” 100 times, or once. Coulda/shoulda/woulda been a guide! Keep ‘em coming, cause we need ‘em. But seriously, up your beer game cause Pee-bers? Day-um!!

Yes i remember my dad and i sneaking and crawling up to little creeks in northern wi. We used really short rods and roll cast because the brush was so thick

We love Brookies out here in the northeast. It’s the only Native trout we really have out here so it’s so great seeing them still in the streams.

Probably a dumb question... but is that a sink tip line? What line are you using in this?

Did you try a fly that looks like a little trout egg that's been laid, broke loose and drifted downstream? That's what I'd do.

Dumb when they're starving and feeding, they'll swallow anything that moves, even joint buts, lol. On the other hand, go find a pool where you can see a bunch of brookies together on bottom when they're not feeding and try to catch one, they'll swim circles around your hook and make a fool out of any fisherman. That's how brook trout act here in Cape Breton, some days they feed violently and act stupid, yet on other days, they just don't feed and act really smart. They probably act differently at different places. Good luck to you and I hope you catch a big one.

Great video. I know most people enjoy fly fishing, but I believe big brook trout bite a lot more on a worm. The other day me and my buddy were spin fishing with worms around 8 other guys with fly rods. We left the river with 5 big trout each and the fly fisherman left with 1 big trout between the 8 guys. On the other hand, I've also seen rare occasions where the fly fisherman catch more, but that's extremely rare. Keep up the great work and good luck with your future fishing adventures. Hope you catch that giant brown you were looking for.

It's one thing to see other people catch these fish but when you are up close and personal it's incredible the detail they have on em. Such a beautiful looking trout or is it a Char? Idk 🤔🤫😁🎣
