    Added a 2024 to the garage last week. Still in break in but it a total hoot to ride! They upgraded everything, except appearance, I think the older models looked cooler but I think the new models are more capable all-around bikes.
    It looks like your friend has opened up the bike's potential with mods. Fun stuff!

      @ Thanks Fuzzy! I wanted a fun lil bike for everyday, all weather conditions and I think this will fit the bill.
      Have a great day!

    Owner of the bike, the coober USA sticker is for an aftermarket air box lid that you can ad after putting on the FuelX. That red light is the Rev limiter. From what I've read the Rev limiter is programmed to go off at lower RPMs the first 600 miles of break in period.
    That fuel X really woke up the bike low end torque wise (seat of the pants Dyno) it's easier to lug the engine at low RPM anyway.

      Bike is a hoot to run. Plenty of power and loads of fun!

      @alanl7231 7 месяцев назад

      Coober USA does make a performance air box, they also make a performance ECU that was developed with KTM to ensure there is no damage to the engine and does not void warranties, it also cost twice as much as the FuelX.

    Sexy bike. I can still see a few 23s available, and of course there are the new 24s.... I don't know which is the smarter buy.

      Thinking this one was a left over, big discount over the new with same warranty. Great fun. Wahoo!

    • @IgoByaGo
      @IgoByaGo 10 месяцев назад +2

      Huge discount on the 23 for sure. I just got mine with a 5 year warranty, tire and wheel warranty, both of which are $0 deductible for what the original out the door price without that stuff would be on a 24. I’m so excited. I can’t ride until I get insurance on it (agent was closed on Saturday).

    How does this compare to the bear 650 and the Himalayan 450?

    • @forgottenmotorcycles
      @forgottenmotorcycles  14 дней назад +1

      It feels lighter and much revier. Little less low in torque but plenty of top end power. I think the bear and Himalayan would do much better on longer rides while this bike would be a great play bike. Loads of fun to ride for sure

    The muffler is just a $105 eBay slip on, but I love it.
    The only other mode on the bike is "supermoto" mode, and all it really does is disable the rear wheel ABS.

      To keep boomers from doing wheelies, they measured the distance it requires to do a wheelie and put a Stop sign in between, brilliant if you ask me :D

    Small fuel tank that’s a bummer! What’s the mileage and top cruising speed ?

    • @forgottenmotorcycles
      @forgottenmotorcycles  5 месяцев назад

      Didn't ride it long enough to get fuel mileage and the bike was to new to do a top speed run. Loads of fun to ride. Wahoo!

      +- 200 km per tank (converted to miles). I got one in 2021; such a fun little machine - I crossed the Peruvian Andes (on/off road with no issues).

      In NZ 🇳🇿 national speed limit is only 100kmh so bikes like these are more than adequate & cruise at 120kmh all day.
      Be a great country explorer bike & bolt a 3L bike fuel tank on it.
