    Finally anyone compare svart401 old and new models. But for me more interesting difference on the engines powers, because engine blocks are totally changed on the new one.

      I think the new bike looks okay. It's just not as attention-grabbing as the old model.

    I want the exhaust, that tyre hugger, same old place for rear turn indicators from the old variant.
    Also I'd love to change spoke wheels to Alloy.
    & Yes, It's true. There's no riding mode. No Bluetooth & Many other features that have been stripped away from Indian version of Svartpilen. Including Pirelli Scorpian Tyres.
    Hypocrisy 😂 at It's best.

    The latest design doesn’t impress as much compared to the earlier model. Great comparison video.

    I am currently on a Duke 200 and aiming to upgrade my bike... just for the style (and even with the lower ground clearance and fuel tank capacity) I would go for the 23 model.
    Even better, a cheaper price makes it a bang for a buck! I'd invest that saving on some accesories for the oldie Svart
    Thanks for you video! Greetings from Mexico~

      P.s: the display is practically the same as my Duke's, so the transition would be way easier and IMHO I believe that less is more. A simpler machine would give me less issues than a more sophisticated, yet the fun wouldn't be dimished

    i would like to know how the two compare around corners and when leaning

    • @bikesonabudgetjapan
      @bikesonabudgetjapan  5 дней назад

      Haven't really tried that but I guess the lower seat height would make the new model more "lean friendly." Hasn't been an issue on the older model.

    what abt the shifting to neutral problem? solved on the 2024 model? and oil leaking?

    • @bikesonabudgetjapan
      @bikesonabudgetjapan  4 часа назад

      The bike has only just been released so there aren't any reports of oil leaks (yet?). Neutral seems to be a bit easier but it isn't really a problem on the older models once you get used to it.

    I also much prefer the 2023 model look. It is very unique whereas the 2024 model looks very generic.

      2023 looks that much better when a new one can be had for $2000 cheaper than the 2024 in many countries.

      At the moment, in Japan, the 2023 is going up in price. Still cheaper than the 2024 but just a bit. Might become a collector's bike.

    Peace of shot engines made in India with engine blocks defected in casting , Cooling going start leaking only after 11.000 miles and no gasket replacement going to help you .

    The new one is to me a much better looking design, perhaps not as avant guard as the first but at least it has a proper rear guard.

      I just got the 2024 model a week ago, albeit the 125cc version as it's my first bike here in the UK. I do personally prefer the look of the new one. The longer rear end makes it look more balanced in my opinion. I was originally looking at the 2023 model, which was 7/8ths the price of the 2024 one (both new), but all the little upgrades over the previous model added up to a better bike for the price imo. It looks like Husqvarna really took customer feedback in all areas and made it better, which gives me confidence in the company and the bike design.
      I'm generally not someone really into tech on bikes, but if I want a low tech bike I will get a Royal Enfield, but they don't make a 125 so I ended up with this. I will likely move on from it anyway when I move to a bigger bike. For the price though the tech it comes with is very impressive. About they only things it doesn't have is traction control, cruise control or various ride modes (other than rain mode and turning the rear ABS off), but all these things are fairly pointless on a 125.
      If it does breakdown for whatever reason, they have the free Mobility Service included in Europe, which covers most costs like recovery (including accomodation or a rental bike or a taxi) which lasts up to 8 years or 35,000 miles, as long as the bike is serviced at an approved Husqvarna dealer within 12 months of the previous approved service. It doesn't cover the cost of spare parts though. I'm genuinely thinking I could get cheaper insurance (I got comprehensive) as there is more included in it than I thought.
