That's actually Avi doing the low part at the beginning, with Kevin adding his percussion. We don't see Avi doing it because FifGen Films was holding off showing him until he could do his "Listen to me" for impact. It can be verified that it's Avi when you watch live performances of the song.

Yes, it's on 3FM Live. There are other live performances also on YT, but the 3FM one probably has the best sound/mic mixing of all of them.
Pentatonix is a magical musical box of chocolates.
Any style, any genre and sometimes even in different languages.
Pentatonix is truly genre-less which may be why they don’t get airplay. They aren’t a pop group because they won a Grammy for arranging a medley of Daft Punk EDM songs. They aren’t an EDM group because their second Grammy was from arranging Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy a classical tune from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky. They aren’t a classical group because they won their third Grammy with country icon Dolly Parton singing a remake of Jolene a country song. They are a jack of all genres (trades) but they are truly Masters of all of it.

Hello Saeed, So glad to you got to this one. I had also requested it! This is such a great cover and great video production. Kevin with his beatboxing is always phenomenal when you really listen to the sounds that he is making; Avi on those deep tones; Scott with his rock-star voice and notes; Kirstie and Mitch with "hoo hoo hoo"; and Mitchell really hitting it out of the park with his sass and his rapping. Mitch's pronunciation and enunciation are always impeccable - when he sings and when he speaks. Reminder about three more on your list "Somebody That I Used To Know" "We Are Young" and "No".
