You Might want to watch Pop springs. It was a recorded concert in Japan. It has three original songs of which Mitch Raps on one and their evolution of Michael Jackson. Have you done their cover of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's "Can't Hold Us"? All three of the trio rap in that.
Mitch rapped the Iggy Azalea part of the song. He just added the “Mitch” part ☺️

This one is so much fun! Scott really gets up into his high range, Kevin and Avi are insane, Kirstin's little "Tell 'em Mitch" was so adorable, and Mitchy Mitchy rapping is a treat!
That's the amazing thing. Mitch can rap, Kevin can do cello and piano. Matt is a drum expert. Scott can play piano. They are amazing.

Arianna Grande's original came out in 2014, and so did this Pentatonix cover. In the early days (2012-14) they were building their brand by doing a capella versions of very recent pop hits. In 2014 they released PTX IV (Classics), with covers of hits from past decades. Also in 2014, they released their first full album, a Christmas album to try to follow up on the success of their 2012 PTXmas EP.

Those live recordings of "Problem" clear up the matter of who exactly is doing the opening bit. Many people think it's only Kevin, as his is the only face showing. But Avi is doing the low bass beat while Kevin is just doing the percussive beat on top of it. The video producer was simply holding off showing Avi for the "Listen to me" (which some of the Avi-cionados use as their alarm clock wake-up sound or as their ringtone).
All three of the Trio rapped in the McLemore and Ryan Lewis cover. You need to pull up the live version of this. How Mitch can keep up with that and still catch some breaths is amazing!!!
Notice how young they look. They'd received their first Grammy eight months before, but this is still Babytonix; September of 2014 was just three years after they'd gotten their start on _The Sing-Off._

This is only one of several videos where Mitch or others in PTX rap - they're really pretty good at it! Can't Hold Us, Thrift Shop, and a number of Superfruit episodes.
Remember: this is originally sung by Ariane Grande (who is a soprano) - but Scott is absolutely killing the lead in this video! The original song had Iggy Azalea doing the rap section, and Mitch substituted "Mitchy, Mitchy" for "Iggy, Iggy" - everything else in the rap is pretty much word-for-word, including the ending "Like what?".
