If I hadn’t known Jordan had been ill, I honestly wouldn’t have been able to tell. The final 30 minutes of this episode are peak JBP and sharp as hell. Welcome back Professor.
It's so good to have him back, and just as he returns he is received with this weird red skull thing, but as usual he is giving us a master class on how to handle it, head on, intelligently, proactively and even turning into a chance to help a charity. To enhance this even further, I would suggest them to make an NFT, it would be perfect timing, (just please mint enough, or save one for me) Edit: also with humor and despationetly, the opposite of cancel culture (that the cartoon was so full of).
What an honor to see your father interviewed by someone who clearly appreciates him the way so many of us do. Must admit, I cried with them both at the end. And thank YOU Mikhaila for all that you have done...both your own work and the inexhaustible love and support you have given to your family over these last years. Beacons of light in some very dark times... In true gratitude.
Can we just take a moment to notice how lovely Dr Peterson actually is? Yes, he’s an intelligent man and says a great many good things, but he’s also overall pleasant. Takes time to explain, genuinely seems happy to be there whenever he’s interviewing, and I’ve yet to see him be patronising. A joy.
Yess, we notice and seeing the newly flowering of a beautiful human. I would again say, this was Jordan Peterson at his best, as I said thus after Michael Shermer's talk with JBP.. Again, so clear, so humble, so profound. You listen to Jordan, you hear things he said before, but its always like new, hence its coming out of the now, with all intensity, truthfulness and the wish to give the best possible in the now and wisdom finds expression. Also, Chris was at his best, also listening and also humble, with very good questions and inspirations, another milestonean gathering. Thanks to both of you!
It's so crazy when you reflect on the state of our culture too. I have a friend who is genuinely the kindest guy I've ever met. Would never cause intentional harm and genuinely is remorseful if it happens by accident. He's very pure in that way. But he's also an introvert-turned-impulsive-and-extreme-extravert; he lets so many kinds of people in his life with *no* filter, and because he has a desire to help people, very nearly all of them are very, very deeply troubled, to the point of tainting his pure heart in ways he just doesn't see like I do from the outside. His first relationship was with one of the most toxic people I've ever seen or met, period. He suffered deeply because of that but he still hasn't seemed to learn his lesson just yet, only that he should pick his partner more carefully. His desire to help has become a profound curse for him because he gets taken advantage of all the time. Some of these unwell people are the classic modern leftists who think Jordan Peterson is a hateful human being (you know the perspective I'm referring to here, I'm sure). And unfortunately, this perspective has been passed onto my kind-hearted pure soul of a friend and he visibly has a negative reaction simply to his name. And the worst part? He could really, *really* use Jordan's advice because he was raised by a single mother, and has many of the problems that tends to bring with it. I've been considering waiting for an opportunity when we are both on Psychedelics to show him a particularly well-done video of Jordan explaining the things that could really help him. Because otherwise he'll have this lens of "this guy is a hateful being and I should be disgusted by his every word" on top of what is incredibly important advice for a man in the modern day.
Exactly how I feel! Everytime I get upset by the negativity put in the world, I am grateful for the opportunities we have to make something better. Having people like Chris and Jordan who make videos like these and write books are so beneficial and uplifting. 🤗
“You do not know the depth of impact your work has had. “ I totally agree with Chris here. Well I am from India, stumbled on Dr. JBP through RUclips. His words have changed my life for better. When I hear him talk I see my emotions being articulated in a sophisticated way. It feels like a greater self of me talking to my current version trying to help me. Thanks JBP for what you are and what you do. You are a hero and my inspiration.
Omg...I am from India too...absolutely love this man! He has helped me think critically and articulate myself in a way I have never done before and it's soo enjoyable... All the best to you
What a bloody legend. This man gets so much bad press and it’s all bulshit. I hate identity politics but people say women don’t like him he’s a nazi etc and a conservative. None of these things are true I’m a white liberal painter still young and I love this man. He has changed my life for the better in so many ways. I am so happy he is back. Fantastic interview Jordan! Sending you love and wish you and your family well from Scotland!
@@sandhya797 you see someone you admire... lets say an intellectual.. and you want that outcome. the smartness, the speech, the knowledge etc.. but you dont want the hard part.. lets say 10 hours of studyng things deeply for years and the good habits that made that person (habits that are painfull to some extent.. thats the price to pay
@@jeff9393 thanks Jeff. And I think I needed this right on time. I was having an unsettling day. I will take this. I was agitated and restless about my own journey.
@@sandhya797 a lot of pain comes from disconnecting cause and effect. We see outcomes we want but don’t yet have, and we feel frustrated. But we pay little attention to the effort required to produce the outcome. By considering both, we save ourselves from delusion. Either we decide the outcome is really worth the effort and task ourselves with carrying out the required effort, or we decide the outcome is not worth the effort and move on with our lives! I’ve seen many people remain stuck in this exact mental trap for years; they want a specific outcome, but the required effort simply isn’t worth it. Instead of being honest with themselves, accepting the fact that the outcome simply isn’t good enough to justify the effort, they look for shortcuts, or try motivating themselves with affirmations and self talk. There’s nothing wrong with deciding something simply isn’t worth the effort, even if you’ve already started. It’s a hell of a lot better than wasting time pretending you’re actually going to do it. Best to continue searching for another desirable outcome, where the require effort truly IS worth the effort. When you find that calling, where the outcome IS worth the effort, everything falls into place. It might still be a ton of work, but the work will be productive, it won’t be a psychological battle you play with yourself. Every single day you’ll make incremental progress toward the desired outcome, rather than go to bed in a mental stalemate with yourself, again. And progress - momentum - is what gives us the energy to keep on going down the righteous path
Dr. Peterson is, of course, intelligent, articulate, humble, honest, and above all disarmingly vulnerable. There is no façade, no superficiality, just someone searching to be a better person and, in the process, showing us the way. How many people would open themselves up the way Dr. Peterson does? Perhaps men gravitate to him more because he displays the qualities that they admire and want to emulate--the man they want to be. Definitely one of the best interviews Dr. Peterson has done recently. We are all profoundly grateful that he is on the road to recovery and wish him continued success.
Favorite idea from this interview: "How can people cope with the pain of unreached potential? Every ideal is a judge. When you posit an ideal, you're instantly in an inferior position to that ideal. Your ideal can judge you harshly. Rearrange your reward philosophy: Instead of punishing yourself for the distance between you and your ideal, reward yourself for incremental movement towards it."
This is an incredible take away, not only does it produce more sociability and a general feeling of acceptance that comes with less over thinking, but it also promotes the constant change and perhaps growth of one’s philosophy, which is part of everyone’s journey.
At 1:28:10, Chris said: "[Dr. Peterson] was like a pebble at the top of an intellectual awakening avalanche.", which is the closest description to the feeling I had when I first heard Dr. Peterson. Thank you for the interview and thank you Dr. Peterson for every second you've spent on educating the world.
This episode was quite literally an answer to a prayer and a game changer. They say prayers are most often answered through other people. Thank you, both.🙏🏽
I don’t want to be lazy and say all of it (so much of what I thought about and felt was contextual), but probably the part about balancing productivity with “living life” and setting incremental, measurable, achievable goals in the face of opposition or time constraints-all while being aware of your temperament and taking that into account. I think the reminder about not comparing yourself to other people is critical to the growth process, otherwise you have a skewed perception of reality, which may undermine growth not support it. Modern Wisdom is a favorite of mine. Thank you, Chris, for the amazing content and hard work and personal sacrifice that it takes to put forth great discussions. And thank you Dr. Peterson for your great work and courage at such a high price and sacrifice for you and your family. It’s not in vain, and it has positively impacted so many people. Nothing but the best for your both!❤️✌🏽
I have realized years ago that helping others and making your community better is the best feeling in the world. However, what I have also realized is that you cannot really help others until you help youerself first. And you cannot help those who do not want to get help.
That was really something, Chris--without gushing or being maudlin, at the end you distilled how so many of us feel when you told Dr. Peterson, "We chose YOU." And when you said that we'd have gladly shouldered some of his suffering if we could, I said "thank you" aloud! RIght on the money. I thought he might be overwhelmed given his still-vulnerable state, but he responded very well and you guys wrapped up a solid interview powerfully.
@@thepl8gued0ct0r8 so much this I totally never bothered to listen to him because of what I'd peripherally heard about him ...& i KNOW how the media(social & msm) work I was very humbled when i finally heard him speak
Agreed, Mara. Although I know very well that mostly men have been responsive to his message, it still surprises me every time to ponder that, because I’m a woman and I feel exactly the way he says men do as they express to them his influence in their lives. I do wish all men could hear him speak.
A while ago, I had a dream that Jordan Peterson came to my town to speak, and I attended the lecture. When it was over, everyone was leaving the building and I was looking for him to thank him, I found him on his own among the crowd, holding a baby boy, no more than a year old. He was playing with the boy, caring for him, making him laugh, and just loving him. I woke up then, and thought about the dream for a moment. Suddenly I realized that I was the baby, and I cried and cried. More specifically, it was the infant deep inside myself that has never known such love and encouragement from anyone, never known his father, and grown up mostly alone. I'm crying even now, as I type this on my lunch break. Thank you so much, Jordan, for going through all the trials of your life that have made you who you are. Thank you for believing in who I could be. You can add my life to the long list of all the lives you have saved. If all I can do to honor you is to keep my proverbial room clean, always tell the truth, and aim for the highest good, then I will stake my life on it.
As a single mother of 2 amazing young men who introduced ME to Dr. Peterson, I hear your words, I hear your hearts. I am glad for you both that you found the good doctor and I wish you the best and most productive, satisfying and love-filled future. What you say is true. There is an assault on young men, especially men of integrity and drive. Be the best you can be and bring others with you. You are the heroes that will save our world. Much love 💕 Mom
@@RealJW901 Thank you, sweet woman! I am a former plumber and current electrician, and I will do whatever I must, sacrifice myself in whatever way presents itself as necessary in order to maintain the world that so many of our ancestors have broken their backs to build for us. My life for the children.
@@RealJW901 the more I read your words, the more I realize just how much a woman's faith means to a man. If a woman gives me her genuine faith and support, there is nothing I wouldn't do to reciprocate and give further dedication. It's hard to imagine what that might be like, though I try, and you have helped immensely. Thank you, once more.
This talk was better than a Hollywood blockbuster. Absolutely legendary, humanity should treasure this guy (and others like him, I'm sure they exist). Whenever I fall into resentment I hear Dr. Peterson voice telling me "accept responsibility for the catastrophe of your life, and then, you can transcend it" and get back on track.
The thing I liked the most was that Chris was considering and thinking when answering or asking a question. He LISTENED to what Jordan was saying, he didn't have a ready script and immediately jumping to say something and prove how smart he is. It was a really thoughtful conversation. I'm so glad Jordan is having interactions with people like Chris and that they are sharing these with us. They are so helpful to so many of us.🤗
This weekend I've watched him being interviewed by Tim Dillon, Andrew Schultz, Akira the Don, Russell Brand and now Chris Williamson. Sure, there has been a lot repetition but God I can't seem to get enough of this man.
As a 49yo man and father standing in the middle of his half cleaned up room in a broken down mess of emotions and tears after that conversation .... All I can say is thank you for voicing to JBP what I will probably never get the oppertunity to say face to face. Now time get back to my room and life with a little more hope that tomorrow will be just a little bit more ok.
It's a curious thing that years from now, people will marvel to learn that JP was the genesis of so many great people. Can't wait to see what happens to the seeds he plants.
@@realmadrid314 I agree that the goal of self-help books is to get people to a place in life where they do not need to rely on self-help books, and my comment is about people realizing how naive they were to need such a book, and maybe they feel like a sucker, and that writing a sequel to a self help book is to admit that the first self help book didn't work and will get tossed in the used bin of all the other self help books that litter the market, and only temporarily replaced the last self help fad. Also, reading any particular book or the words of any guru should not be proudly considered the geneses of anyone's achievements. this is setting the bar very low for personal growth and is hero worship/cult of personality thinking. be your own hero.
Damn I love Jordan Peterson so much. All my other idols are unfortunately long dead. But this man is just something else, I almost feel like the luckiest person in the world to even have an opportunity to listen to this genius. Honestly I think he will be remembered on the level of Carl Jung, Da Vinci and other absolute legends.
I will probably go back to this amazing podcast often. I can not imagine I will be the only one, so I wrote down some timestamps that might be useful to others too. 00:23 - Chris expressing his gratefulness for Jordan Peterson being back. 1:12 - Jordan Peterson's opinion on the resemblance between him and Red Skull in Marvel Comics' Captain America. 6:58 - Jordan Peterson discusses why the mainstream media is losing support. 18:20 - Jordan Peterson gives his thoughts on the world of productivity and chasing improvement. 25:00 - Jordan Peterson answers "how do you deal with the pain of unreached potential? 30:50 - Jordan Peterson discusses the unseen price successful people pay. 37:38 - Jordan Peterson explains how to deal with being self-conscious in 2021. Is it a blessing or a curse to feel everything so deeply? 52:58 - Jordan Peterson explains how to add a sense of urgency to life. 1:02:19 - Jordan Peterson talks about the rules which he didn't add to his original list of 42 Rules For Life. 1:11:04 - Jordan Peterson explains how to deal with losing friends as you grow. 1:21:48 - Jordan Peterson shares what is coming next and Chris shares the level of impact Jordan Peterson had on his life.
'12 ALTERNATIVE RULES FOR LIFE-: A DOTE TO CHAOS'. - for Anti-Jordaneers and Black Skulls! (These rules may better suit your character, rather than his rules - You will know!) 1. Stand up straight - unless a slight forward droop feels more comfortable. 2. Treat others like they are someone responsible for helping you. 3. Make friends with those who say they want the best for you on the off chance they mean it. 4. Compare others with yourself daily to better see how they fall short. 5. Do not let your children do anything in case you dislike them. 6. Let your house - in order to enable you to go out and criticise the world. 7. Pursue what is meaningful 'to you' (Unless its somewhat difficult) 8. Don't tell the truth when a lie or half truth might benefit you or help further an agenda. 9. Assume the person you are listening to is hoping you will interrupt and offer the advice and wisdom they seek. 10. Be a vice and a leech. 11. Do not bother yourself with children - Go skateboarding! 12. Kick a cat if you encounter one on your patch. Troll the trollers!!
Its unbelievable that even after JBP has done so many podcasts and interviews, someone can come up with multiple great questions in a row. You left me in awe, Chris Williamson.
I respect Peterson's ability to come from topic to topic near the same common pattern, and I respect Chris' ability to come up with something out of the box to make it going. Such a great combo.
It’s crazy I’ve never met this guy but I truly love him. You can feel his empathy for all humans. I know it sounds corny but you really saved my life sir. Thank you
To Dr Peterson: You are so supported, Sir. I'm also so grateful you are back too. You've helped me shift my life around (I'm not a young white male.... many of us recieve inspiration from what you do). I can't wait to rock one of the shirts your daughter is selling. I'm happy to share my protest to this ridiculousness of red skull madness. Much love and gratitude to you. God bless you.
We all hope that this is a long, long time from now, but when Jordan passes away, I cannot fathom the stadium sized crowds for miles and miles and miles paying their respects. And, no matter what, I will be there among them. I cannot measure the gratitude I have for JP. And I wish everyone else reading this the best wishes as well.
They have to be damaged. Or evil. Or highly political. Or something ... really bad. The good intentions emanating from this man combined with the caution in how he deploys them into the world are obvious to see for anyone with eyes. WIthout having to agree with every single thing he says ... you have to be a VERY cynical human being to have a negative take regards JBP. I think a fair portion of the negativity is actually commissioned blow back by the establishment ( The red skull thing being the obvious latest e.g. ) . I suspect what he's been able to accomplish in opposition to their efforts as effectively a single man scares the living shit out of them. They think ... FUCK! What if we had to deal with 1M JBPs ??? That thought keeps their scheming and anxious subconscious awake at night.
@@richardlefaive1944 from what I can see it’s a combination of pathological political and ideological allegiance and just pure ignorance. Any perceived enemy of the modern left is an enemy of thousands of people who mindlessly digest 2nd hand information as fact without a question. Probably suits their own personal narrative or makes them feel good about themselves.
@@EnDabuwya You'd be right until some Marvel writer framed him as basically being Red Skull, and he put out a t shirt(with all proceeds being given to charity) taking the piss. So as long as its coming from a sense of mockery and camaraderie, no, I don't think he would mind at all.
Professor Peterson mentioned you on a few other podcasts now - Ben Shapiro and Flagrant 2 that I saw. You evidently left a good impression. This is an interview to be very proud of.
I heard of Chris Williamson during the Ben Shapiro interview and within a few days, sure enough, the RUclips algorithm picked it up. Such a quotable and worthy listen I'll listen more than once.
I’m doing the dishes with tears rolling down my face , I’m a 47 year old builder , 😁 I don’t think I’m representing toxic masculinity very well 😂 thanks fellas 😄🤝
Finally. At the end, finally, someone was able to express to Jordan how I truly feel about him. Thanks man. Now I know, without a doubt, that he knows.
@@WoodenWizard For me it shows how much depth there was to the questions Chris asked and how much research and thought he gave to this interview. If you follow Jordan Peterson closely, he doesn’t usually say “That’s a good question” before answering.
I think that when people say 'that's a really good question' so often , it , to me is an irritating cliche and I wish people in podcasts would refrain for the most part ...
Such a beautiful human being. Every time he hears he's helped someone, he is immediately moved to tears. Admire his compassion, and strive to develop it yourself!
I have fallen down the Jordan Peterson rabbit hole and I'm loving it. Mr. Peterson has been on my radar for several years and I admit that I've avoided delving into his work because of some of the negative rhetoric I heard about him. It was immature on my part and i can admit I was wrong to make a judgment on someone without fully exploring what they were about. All the negative accusations about Jordan are ridiculous. If you listen to his talks or read his books it is all too clear what an insightful, intelligent and compassionate man he is. So Jordan please forgive my judgment of you. I'm currently reading your first book and just signed up for your on line courses. You make me want to be a better human and that is the effect great people have on others. It is clear to me what a big heart you have, your compassion shines through your eyes and is heard in your voice. I'm sorry you have dealt with so much hate. But love is stronger than hate and so may people love you. I send my love to you, I'm moved by anyone who has a need to help and elevate others. So thank you Jordan. And Chris so happy to have discovered you! I love the deeply thoughtful way you interview. And what you said about Tiger Woods..whoa! Good stuff. Oh and one more thing Jordan, you are the food that my hungry mind craves. Love to you both
@@ChrisWillx Your anecdote about Tiger Woods staggered me, very insightful. From Jordan, his segment about punishing your partner/child’s merits was very useful to know. Thanks so much for replying!
I think Chris is correct that not only Jordan, but all of us fail to understand just how much impact he has had through the "chain reaction" that emanates from the people he has helped directly. JBP hints at this when he talks about personal responsibility and often says "God knows what might happen if you then .... " , but I think even he may not fully comprehend just how far and positively his influence has impacted and may end up yet reaching. When historians look back upon this period from 2015 - 2030 , I think it will be viewed as more pivotal than most in the past and ... I suspect JBP will be viewed as one of, if not THE most central figure.
My understanding, in simple words, of Mr Peterson's message to us all is: Do the best you can in every moment of your life with any level of knowledge you might have. Be impeccable. Life is too short to be unimpeccable. Do your best at any given time under any circumstance. You will know when you are impeccable or not by the way you feel and perceive yourself
I'm speechless. I'm crying. Thank you both for this, it has been inspiring. I have been following Jordan's work for years, his words are gold, he is my teacher, his "rules" give me guidance in this crazy world. Keep up the amazing work Chris. I do not know you, but I am very proud of you.
You are correct regarding social media. I only joined because my sister convinced me after my vacation in Italy to join the rest of the human race on social media.I was asked several times to start a podcast but I value my privacy. Maybe one day I’ll put my life in writing, not sure yet. I took great pleasure in knowing I did not need social media. I stayed busy and traveled a lot. After 2 yrs on Facebook and a few months on Twitter, I was disgusted w/the trash and falsehoods on social media. My FB was hacked twice. Someone copied my pics and info, created over 20 false accounts on messenger using my name and my pics. Twitter was fun but quickly became stupid and hateful. I could not believe adults joined social media to display their stupidity and hate without remorse. Anyway, finding Jordan on RUclips is a treasure. He is the only the only reason I stay on RUclips. Good day gentlemen 🙋🏻♀️
@@ChrisWillx oh I'm so glad you responded. Yeah, I guess it was not easy to get at first an interview with him. I've been watching your interviews for almost year an I have to say that I really admire you. You are such a strong and kind man. I feel like you are a model to follow to a 19 year old man from Argentina (me). (this is the kind of impact you were discussing at the end of the interview) For what is worth, I love the friendship you have with Alex Oconnor. His philosophy is really distant to us (we love meat) , but well, he is also a very interesting person. And I will stop right here because you might be thinking I'm crazy for telling you all this things. Keep on your incredible work Chris!
Yeah man, your last closing remarks, about him not knowing how he's exponentially making things better for everyone who sees me becoming a better person, ring so true in my case - I know exactly how you feel! My parents are working class 3rd world migrants, they don't read or think deeply about much and they don't know how things work in UK, so discovering JBP was really life advice from a smart, attentive but not smotheringly-loving uncle (as much as I love my dad, there wasn't much wisdom or answers to any of my questions at home). But through his lectures I got to flesh out what I thought, felt and that has helped me clean up my act. Genuinely so grateful and happy this man is back!
Not to nit pick but ... GEOMETRICALLY better. Its that much better and more importantly, I think its actually a more accurate description of his impact.
I was straight up sobbing throughout the last 20-30 minutes!! (and tearing up at a few points before that) But for real, this episode was the exact thing I needed to get back on track, especially the parts about self-consciousness and *cleaning up one's room* really spoke to me and my current struggles. It really felt like the both of you managed to put truths I intensely thought about into words so that they've become so concrete that I can actually work with them now. It was very delightful to see JBP at this performance level again too, and I do think that's due to your intelligent questions as well :) This was truly everything and more that I hoped it would be. Thank you so much!💙
Dr. Peterson, I "discovered" you, so to speak, last year. While watching your videos, I've witnessed you struggle through illness, sadness, frustration, pain, confusion, gratitude, fortitude, and the need to reason with those who are against the truth. You, sir, are not only a breath of fresh air, but you are an anchor that helps me to hang on to while drowning in the stench and quagmire of the insanity that engulfs this nation. You make sense. You give me hope. I want you to know the impact you have on me. I can't speak for others. I pray not only for your continued relief from pain, but for your continued strength to move forward in your quest to overcome the illogical nonsense from those who push against you. I believe you are only beginning to understand the support from those of us who stand behind you, and beside you. You are the best so-called warrior for those who share your views. I am just one of them. Thank you.
What Chris said there about taking on a share of Jordan’s suffering is absolutely is absolutely right and very perceptive. I’m very impressed with Chris. Jordan is of course a very real contender for the 8th wonder of the world.
"...and if the option had been there, I and probably lot of other people would've happily taken on our share of your suffering over the last year..." That was a powerful ending. Thank you for this episode.
Flabbergasting interview, host and guest. Long time watcher and devourer of Peterson's content and Williamson's to a lesser extent. But this is gold. Pure gold. ❤
I binge too many of these talks. It's a hard habit to break, since they are endlessly fascinating. I have major depression and listening to Dr. Peterson describe what is going on in my mind when I have to manage my stress has helped me talk myself down and sort myself out. What's helped the most is "tell the truth, or at least don't lie".
The last 5 min of this podcast are even more profound than the rest. Freaken profound. Apologies for the multiple posts. This guy just means a lot to me. Makes me feel better about the world.

😍😍😍
I agree! I can't get enough of him. So glad I found him and glad he's ok!
It’s like he’s taken it upon himself to see after the intellectual development of the world because he must because he was born into the role
Conversations like these are the reason why I am thankful for the Internet.
Definitely!
Exactly how I feel! Everytime I get upset by the negativity put in the world, I am grateful for the opportunities we have to make something better. Having people like Chris and Jordan who make videos like these and write books are so beneficial and uplifting. 🤗

And progress - momentum - is what gives us the energy to keep on going down the righteous path
ruclips.net/video/-45XTnDkwoY/видео.html
Such a nice perspective 🦞
ruclips.net/video/-45XTnDkwoY/видео.html
This is an incredible take away, not only does it produce more sociability and a general feeling of acceptance that comes with less over thinking, but it also promotes the constant change and perhaps growth of one’s philosophy, which is part of everyone’s journey.

I think Chris is correct that not only Jordan, but all of us fail to understand just how much impact he has had through the "chain reaction" that emanates from the people he has helped directly. JBP hints at this when he talks about personal responsibility and often says "God knows what might happen if you then .... Life is too short to be unimpeccable. Do your best at any given time under any circumstance. You will know when you are impeccable or not by the way you feel and perceive yourself
You got the assignment for sure!!!

That ending had me in tears. Thanks Chris for telling Jordan how I feel.
Bring Jordan Peterson more regularly please!
He is such an interesting person.
Happily. He's a busy guy but I'm confident he'll be back, this was special
(this is the kind of impact you were discussing at the end of the interview)
For what is worth, I love the friendship you have with Alex Oconnor. His philosophy is really distant to us (we love meat) , but well, he is also a very interesting person.
And I will stop right here because you might be thinking I'm crazy for telling you all this things.
Keep on your incredible work Chris!
@@ChrisWillx hahaha it is unlikely you are going to see the text
What an awesome story. Thanks man.
Not to nit pick but ... GEOMETRICALLY better. Its that much better and more importantly, I think its actually a more accurate description of his impact.
@@richardlefaive1944 hahaha yes thank you Richard, always looking out for me :P
I love every and each word that comes out of the mouth of Dr. Jordan Peterson. 💕💕💕💕
I didn't know who Chris was before I watched this. I was surprised and impressed by the quality of the questions. And I found this very engaging.
I was straight up sobbing throughout the last 20-30 minutes!! (and tearing up at a few points before that)
But for real, this episode was the exact thing I needed to get back on track, especially the parts about self-consciousness and *cleaning up one's room* really spoke to me and my current struggles. It really felt like the both of you managed to put truths I intensely thought about into words so that they've become so concrete that I can actually work with them now.
It was very delightful to see JBP at this performance level again too, and I do think that's due to your intelligent questions as well :)
This was truly everything and more that I hoped it would be.
Thank you so much!💙
What an awesome comment. Thank you
Thank you.
The most important thing is that Jordan Peterson is looking very healthy and motivated to get back.
Damn, I cried at the end. Chris summarized very well how we feel towards Jordan. Several months back when I saw jordan announce he’s back, I cheered.
Jordan is underrated. He is an intellectual juggernaut and true good soul.
There is nothing that could be said to emphasize just how true this statement is.
We are truly blessed to have this man with us! The world both as a whole and for the individual is richer because of Peterson. God bless him.
"The only worst thing then being talked about is not being talked about"
Oscar Wilde
You just keep getting bigger and better Dr.Peterson.
What Chris said there about taking on a share of Jordan’s suffering is absolutely is absolutely right and very perceptive. I’m very impressed with Chris. Jordan is of course a very real contender for the 8th wonder of the world.
"...and if the option had been there, I and probably lot of other people would've happily taken on our share of your suffering over the last year..."
That was a powerful ending. Thank you for this episode.
"I have all sorts of people lined up, I'm so excited about it" - You and me both Doc. You and me both.
Flabbergasting interview, host and guest.
Long time watcher and devourer of Peterson's content and Williamson's to a lesser extent.
But this is gold. Pure gold. ❤
Jordan Peterson is so gorgeously articulate and insightful. It’s like watching Lebron play basketball or Adele sing or Picasso paint.
Don't you dare compare Jordan Peterson with LeChina James
Darn right he is
I binge too many of these talks. It's a hard habit to break, since they are endlessly fascinating. I have major depression and listening to Dr. Peterson describe what is going on in my mind when I have to manage my stress has helped me talk myself down and sort myself out. What's helped the most is "tell the truth, or at least don't lie".
Dr. Jordan Peterson is the most AUTHENTIC AND GENUINE HUMAN BEING I have ever come across.
The last 5 min of this podcast are even more profound than the rest. Freaken profound.
Apologies for the multiple posts.
This guy just means a lot to me. Makes me feel better about the world.
With great regret, I have but only one "Like" to provide this video. Well done, gentlemen, well done.
I cried. Thought I understood then, but the profoundness 🤯 of empathy, made me realise how deep they authentically shared.
I love your interview style. You ask well chosen questions, and then you let them speak. To go down their multitude of rabbit holes. It's wonderful.
The ending made me tear up. I cannot express how much of an impact JBP has had on my life and how he has changed my way of thinking and behaving.
I missed JP soooo much. Thank God he's back.
I feel like you told Jordan what I would have told him, and this is for sure something many, many people feel. I swear man, when you started thanking him, I noticed tears in my eyes, I truly felt it. Great podcast.
@Dr. Jordan Peterson Impersonating the good Dr. is a scumbag move. I don't care how noble you're pretending to be, while slinging pseudo religious bullshit; kindly fuck off. Your spam is not welcome.

Jordan is a great Father Figure that some of us Men desperately needed, I will be eternally grateful for him.
Jordan Peterson is truly a class individual, love him.
So so glad to have JP back!! You were sorely missed. You're looking healthy.
Last ten minutes of this interview was... Superb. I could tell you really touched JBP. You formulated exactly what many people think and would like to tell Jordan. God bless.
I’m so happy Jordan Peterson is back we need him more than ever now ☺️
Dr. Jordan Peterson at his best! Bravo!
So proud of this guy. To me Jordan is even more inspirational having gone through what he has and is. I can completely personally relate.
“Unbroken, we are, Noble Creatures “.... What a pleasure. This conversation is Gold. Thank You.
Lots of LOVE, Respect and Gratitude from Mexico!!!
May God give you back your health Sir. ✨🙏🏼✨
Chris, honestly, you did the best interview with JBP I've ever heard! Hands down!! I've listened to probably almost everything the man has done -- his class lectures, his biblical series, his book lectures, interviews of him, interviews by him, his Q&As, just about everything. And yet you've brought to us the most well thought out and principled interview I've ever heard. Kudos to you!! And yes, I was crying at the end because your generosity and the genuineness of heart were simply beautiful. Well done.
💗
There's likely more existential value and applicable wisdom in this youtube video than in a 3 year university degree. All encapsulated in 2 hours. Incredible.
Yes another conversation with my hero‼️ Jordan has changed my perspective on life and how I treat myself and others, It has made a tremendous improvement on my health! Thank you 🙏🏼
My pleasure Barbara. What were your favourite takeaways?
if you paid attention to JP, hero worship is unhealthy. you are your own hero.
You know something fella? You’re really good at this. You get the best out of your subjects. That takes some doing. I don’t know how you top that. But I’ll be watching. Thanks man, that was powerful.
Lots of respect and healing wishes from this woman who has been a big fan of you and your work ever since I came across it, Dr Peterson. Thank you for this amazing podcast, Chris! Such great timing as I’m at a crossroads in my own life, leap forward and take steps to serve the voice in my heart, or die without trying. I’m inspired to be brave and move forward with small steps
Everytime JP talks about the people he has helped and how their words affect him and breaks down it hits me right in the heart every time :'(
It's so nice to see Dr Peterson recovering and getting better and better every video i see him in. Much love to him and his family.
