I think Supermarket Sushi is top notch. Outstanding quality, for that price you cannot beat it. I buy it every night whilst I was in Japan, even after a late supper. Well that's me, being greedy.. BTW, I love your job Mark, keep up the good work!

I think your'e wrong here . Supermarket sushi in Japan looks pretty comparable to what you can get in la Japanese markets. Not everything is better because it's from the country of origin, particularly when it comes to cheap food..
@@00Julian00 Not everything, but most. You can clearly see this is "fresh". In germany we have very poor quality sushi only, so i can't really compare it to that, but overall it looks very good for discounters.

I absolutely love the look and idea of all this Japanese food -- seems it would be wonderful -- the price of this grocery store sushi is quite low -- here in the southern United States it cost you about $15 each and be MUCH smaller!! Supermarket sushi is always good in Japan. Still very fresh and yummy. Love to get Bentos from 7-11 cheap and yummy. Japanese instant ramen in japan is the best, the seafood and curry ramen is the bomb. I like Kansai Ramen. just the basic and also like curry ramen. How did you like the hanku Line??? they never change the look of their trains. Love Kobe can't wait till tomorrow I lived on Port island before. Kobe is great for a food crawl. They had an awesome British pub when I was there just near the main station. Hope you enjoyed mark. keep them coming.

Hi Mark, always enjoy your videos! So, raw garlic condiment is in ramen shops specialized in Hakata style with tonkotsu broth, as the flavor is rich & powerful enough to match raw garlic. It's not always offered in shoyu based ramen shops, because the chef thinks raw garlic would overpower the mild, clean broth. My favorite is powerful tonkotsu ramen!

Mark, you need to go to the Tokyo subway station and visit the Ramen street at the bottom floor. There is a well-known ramen spot there that serves the best Tsukeman ramen hands down. Don't leave Japan until you've tried it!!!
