The fact that the reason why you have not been able to play and upload that much GT7 for 10 days or so is that you have been driving a REAL GT4 car around the Nordschleife is just mind boggling man. What a time to be alive
These cars were never expected to ride kerbs as in '65 most kerbs were vertical and so tall they were effectively walls.

Yeah that is one of my biggest complaints with not just Gran Turismo but also racing in general. The track limits have become so irrelevant and inconsistent, it makes people take ridiculous lines through corners that would destroy these delicate machines. Even 2 wheels off track should be a warning, center of the car over the line should be half second penalty and 4 wheels off should be 1 or 2 second penalty. I don’t care how much people say “but I am already off track, I am not gaining an advantage”. That is just demonstrably false, as you can clearly see people taking these ridiculously risky lines that would never be possible otherwise. The rules should be clear and obvious for all tracks, not bendable per each track

Simply put grass and sand where you don't want cars going, and let track limits enforce themselves

There is just something special about super gt videos , like its super entertaining racing on one hand gets me excited , and then also his voice and sound of cars is so soothing it is a stress reliever , and Oh my god his facial expressions are absolutely putting reaction channel thumbnails to shame , all in all love you and good luck for your races , both in gt and irl 👍

It occurs to me that all your problems could be solved by just going faster.
Everyone else is getting better at GT7, while you're getting better opportunities to race IRL. I could do neither, personally, but I'd sacrifice the former for a chance at the latter were I in your place. Cherish those moments while you are still here on earth, Steve, I mean it!
Steve id really love to see a series on the Nations/Manufacturer cup where you take it extremely seriously.

This is the first online competition I’ve ever entered. I’ve never been more excited and nervous at the same time fighting for 11th 😂😂. Maybe I’ll see you on the track one day. Awesome content and thank you for sharing.
I like the RA272 for credit grinding on the 30 Minutes of Le Mans 700PP event, but on hard tires it's quite a challenge! I imagine that the online events also set default suspension and differential values, which makes it at least doubly challenging.

It is a lot of fun but that car is a deathtrap. It gets above 200mph on super speedways and it shimmies and sways so much it feels like it is going to fall apart underneath you

It's quite an iconic car, specially for the japanese fans, so it makes a lot of sense.

Why would it be random? RA272 is literally Honda's first motorsport car and the first Japanese F1 car that won a race.

Can you tell me about VR? I only see on one eye. Can you see objects in the far distance on either VR-Screen (as you would see IRL)? Or is it just a split-screen? Thanks

It's weird seeying the Honda RA272 with slicks... they drove with grooved bias-ply diagonal tyres... heck, AVON tyres makes replica tyres with the original molds specifically for these cars for historic racing!

The "Bus Stop" chicane at Watkins Glenn has been a thorn in my side across all games my entire life. 😆
Watkins Glen is in a very beautiful natural location in the Finger Lakes of upstate New York. A really nice place to visit in the summer of autumn.

I Fought that race (because it couldn't be said driven at all between bad drivers and no downforce grip) as well.
Everyone went from Safety Ratings went from (S) to (D) in a single day regardless if you made incidents deliberately or you did your best to drive as clean as possible.
Loved the vid. I'm curious, what is this class of car called? They look very similar to the F1 and Indy cars raced in the 1960s. Is the car a 60s Grand Prix car? I always thought that was the purest form of racing, no wings, no driver aids, just a good chassis, driver and engine trying to keep the whole explosive mess going round the track in a coherent dance.
Watching this, it's easy to see why Clark was one of the all time greats
maybe an unpopular opinion, but it's great watching those old cars race.

I enjoyed driving the Honda. It rewards you for avoiding slides and when it does slide, it's not vicious and you can correct it. This event was silly though. I think I would have enjoyed it more if they skipped the race and gave out the points after qualifying.
plot twist: the french driver was ocon and he got a 10s penalty for steve's dive bomb. ;P

Can someone explain how the points work in the nations cup my first race I started 16th and ended up 10th and got 21pts. In the second race I got pole but ended up 2nd and only got 9pts but when I look at the standings my total points say 21 with the first race showing 21 in blue and second race shows 9 in grey with a note saying points will be updated shortly after the race ( race finished 2-3 days ago) This is my first time taking part in the NC race.
