    This is great info! This is my second pregnancy and I have been doing a lot more research about labor this time around. Your video gives an excellent summary of all of the things that I have researched about promoting an effective and calm labor! The way you explained engaging the baby was very helpful. Last pregnancy I tried a thousand inducing techniques and was in prodromal labor for weeks before eventually being induced, all because my baby was not in a good position. Looking forward to watching more of your videos! :)

I explain the spinning babies techniques I used to get my daughter in the most optimal birthing position in this video here. ruclips.net/video/CoelnQMi0Rw/видео.html But you may need extra guidance from the Spinning Babies Website or Classes located in the description box of this video. :)

I have binge watched all of your videos esp the masterclass over and over again. I loved it. I am just seeking clarity on the distinction between rotation activities and engagemnet activites. Hi love! I know this can be a very difficult time waiting. is baby in the post optimal birthing position?? facing your spine and head down? I have several extra resources linked in the description box for pelvic balance and alignment in the description box, but if this is something you are for sure not good at this late in pregnancy a webster certified chiropractor may be the immediate help you need. But for me all it took was to do a few spinning babies techniques which i explain in this video right here. :) ruclips.net/video/CoelnQMi0Rw/видео.html

    Hey.. what's your opinion on sleeping on your right during pregnancy..? I know left is best but does right encourage posterior possibly? I love sleeping on my right..

    • @DanceePinkston
      @DanceePinkston  4 года назад +6

      great question! I personally sleep on both side but just make sure my belly is lower than my spine to back a hammock for baby. :) you lots of leg pillows and almost turn onto inner hip! I would have to check into detail about turning a baby with sleeping position! I know one tip spinning babies gave was to put something cold on your belly so the baby would turn around. do you know the exact position of baby?

    • @shivanisharma4983
      @shivanisharma4983 4 года назад +2

      @@DanceePinkston Great to know that you practice sleeping on both sides. My first one was an OP baby who did not turn, leading to a last minute c section so I want to do all I can to ensure that the position is LOA. No I don't know the position yet (24 weeks) and may not know for sure for a couple of weeks more. Spinning babies daily activities suggests sleeping on your left is most protective for baby but doesnt' clarify from point of view of anterior/posterior.

    • @DanceePinkston

      In late pregnancy I am going to do my best to stay on my left, but I know that's difficult. It has to do with taking pressure off your liver as well!

      Why didn't they allow for an induction? I'm currently 33 weeks and my doc says they ONLY allow a vbac if they induce at 39 weeks. Which, I'm not 100% about since my last induction resulted in a c section. And I can't find any actual data that means in one direction or the other more :/

    • @TifarahL
      @TifarahL 3 года назад +1

      @@suburbanearth9076 I just had my baby 2 weeks ago through a c section even though I was aiming for a vbac and after 20 hours of labor. This is my 2nd c section and according to my doctor they don't induce someone who has had a c section before. Reason being that the incision might start opening from the inside before the baby is born.

    • @suburbanearth9076

      @@TifarahL Congratulations on your baby! That's what I am worried about with the induction :( there's just not enough data out there for me to look into regarding this. The facility won't take no for an answer, so I'm going to try to attempt to go into spontaneous labor from walking and low impact exercise before hand. I'm sorry you didn't get the vbac you wanted, but it's good to see you came out of it well enough to at least leave a comment on youtube lol. Again congratulations on your little bundle!
