Nice build looking forward to see it run. I do would like to see more of these build serieses as it gives me a newbie to the hobby a chance to see how things are done. ❤️
Looks so good loved this build series really want a trx4 sport 😁. All of your vids are so informative especially for me being new to the hobby 👍. Keep up the good work cant wait to see this run when you can get out that is. Stay safe
Another great video. I'm just finishing up my TRX4 Sport. Waiting for my hobby store to open up. So I can get the inner flairs #8081. Plus I want to install an RC4WD light controller so I can run some or all my lights at one time. I just feel it's more realistic no to always run all the lights all the time. Thanks for doing this series.
On my Sport Body I put that hole in the roof more towards the rear of the cab so the wire can run strait down between the rear window and driver door in the corner. Just seemed to make more sense from a wire management perspective.
Excellent video, a pity that you have to remove the winch to install the lights of the front fender. Your tutor has helped me a lot with the installation of the lights, since Traxxas' instructions are somewhat confusing. Greetings friend from Madrid (Spain).
So this requires no skills at all.... Interesting. 😲 The Tan does look good. Maybe Red Beadlock Rings would be less out there... But Rule #1 - it's YOUR Rig!! Do it your way. Stay SAFE!
😂😂😂😂 I bought the TRX-4 builders kit a week ago with the sport body and rack combo. I'm getting the narrow inner fenders so I don't have to cut the others. Even planning to paint it tan and black like yours. Must be a good combo except I got Incision KMC Method wheels. Great series but now you got me thinking about lights. 🤔
Oh man, love the rig, amazing job you just did, one question, can you tell me how can I get the beige color?, is it Tamiya spray?….greetings from Naples Fl 👍👏👌🚙
Great series! I did the light kit install & fender wells on mine earlier in the week. Still planning on the bumper light bar & maybe the well lights but going to wait. What is you plan for the body that came off?
' nice jeep... best suggestion that dont need 5 spare tire on the back rear... because of weight and eat battery alot plus short running time... what happen the taillights are NOT has 2 amber yellow lights on the rear taillights
I noticed that your TRX4 Sport has fenders mounted on the chassis. Did you add those or are they part of the kit? My RTR doesn't have them. Also, to add fenders, do you need both fender parts kits (chassis andbody)? Thanks, Michael
This body may fit well with the TRX-4 Sport, but it's not compatible with the TRX-4 assembly kit #82016-4. That information is nowhere to be found -- the Traxxas web site only tells you that you need a "TRX-4 compatible body (312 mm)". I bought this body with precut holes and built the kit before I discovered that this body requires narrow fenders, the rear body mount that comes with the kit wouldn't work at all, and the bumper that comes with the kit does not fit with the spare tire kit. I was not going to disassemble the kit to buy and install narrow fenders, so I cut the kit's fenders back until they fit. I bought another front mount that sort of works in the back of the kit (the precut holes line up enough to put it on but aren't exactly correct and require jiggling), and I had to buy a new bumper set to get the spare to fit. That's a lot of extra work, expense and delay that could have been avoided if Traxxas would just say what bodies actually fit. As it stands, I'm still not sure what body actually fits the kit. I also ran into some trouble putting a driver figure in the truck; it interfered with the antenna and I had to bend it over to make it fit. The other accessories mentioned in the video went together just fine and it ended up as a beautiful model in spite of everything.
Greg, I have always wondered, how do you film your vehicles in action? Are you filming and driving at same time (from some of the shadows I have seen in your videos, it appears that way)? Or do you have another person to help take video while you drive? I’m curious as I would love to take some video of my UDR but usually I’m by myself. Thanks for the great videos!
I'm proud lol I love your vids if you get a chance could you possibly do a giveaway for a traxxas rustler I have wanted it for a year especially the 4x4 vxl Just a suggestion
Can anyone help me.. I have this kit.... running. Head and tail lights. Picked up a roof light bar plugged in fine for about 20 mins. Then the box that bolts to the chassis caught fire.... checked all wiring and seems fine... running a hobbywing 1080 esc with 3s lipo The only think indont have is the 3 way.... but why did it catch fire.
How did you get such a nice fit with the rear and front bumpers ? If you cut to the Traxxas template lines, you will end up with an ugly 1-2mm gap on the side of each light, front and rear.
Be aware the Traxxas lighting module (the box attached to the chassis) is known to suddenly short for no reason and catch fire. Absolute junk and a fire hazard.
SO SWEET Greg!!! Please Keep the trx series alive. I really enjoy the different builds you put out on these!
Such a good looking body Traxxas really did a good job with the accessories.
I am a fan of Theese build series. Like it😀
I want to hate that tan and blue but its digging on me...
I love this Series plz do more like this!
Thank you so much for the details in the description. Above and beyond. Stay healthy!
Truck should turn the night into day with all those lights !! Very cool
Now I have to get the bumper light bar and rear tire carrier! Awesome video brother 👍👍👍😀
Nice build looking forward to see it run. I do would like to see more of these build serieses as it gives me a newbie to the hobby a chance to see how things are done. ❤️
this dude seems to be one who likes a nice Christmas sweater
Fun Series ! Could you do a video on adding the second gear to the transmission?
Looks so good loved this build series really want a trx4 sport 😁. All of your vids are so informative especially for me being new to the hobby 👍. Keep up the good work cant wait to see this run when you can get out that is. Stay safe
Love the blue and the desert color
The tan and blue look good👍🏻 You need to paint the sand ladders blue to match tie it all together
Spare tire mount/ mounting hardware ☝️best tip forever 💪💯 THX Form Germany Thuringia
I feel like orange rings would look better with the tan👍🏻

This project makes you hesitate to take the risk to scratch the body. But it's nice to have it too.
This video make me excited to get one!

Excellente vidéo !! 👍👍
I just came across your channel very informative channel also all the parts you have on that trx4 sport in this video is what I have on my sport
My dream truck I’m getting it this coming summer
Nice job probably my next rc
Been waiting for this so long

Very well done video...I would like to see a roof rack like that on the 2021 Bronco body...
Wow awesome car!
thanks that was awesome i'm new to the rc world and i just ordered my blue trx 4 i look forward to doin some of these mods
I have the orange body sport and ordered the tan body today. Both are AWESOME.
Is the trx4 worth the money?
Great video!
Yessir Amazing build 💯 looking forward to the next 1.... Element sendero? Redcat pack? 🤔
I think traxxas should've made cheap licensed truck body like Mazda or Mitsubishi
So this requires no skills at all.... Interesting. 😲
The Tan does look good. Maybe Red Beadlock Rings would be less out there... But Rule #1 - it's YOUR Rig!! Do it your way.

I Likey!

I do wish Traxxas would come out with a black anodized option for all their upgrades.
Good to know on the extra leads from the lightbar. I was wondering why the hell mine was dim compared.to the rest, almost useless.
Look great ....

awesome!
looks sweet a makes me want a crawler. now which one to get?
So what did it cost to complete it?
Just did the same body and i used Duratrax Gunmetal for the body color
I love it. Could you do one for the nitro Revo plz plz plz. Not maybe videos out on the revo.
Did you have a problem with the headlights fitting with the inner fenders? And if so how did you overcome this
So if I have a stock body I can still use the light kit
I wish you could have spent more time on the final power cord placement. I couldn't follow it.
Does this body perfectly fits the Traxxas TRX4 kit?
Yes
'
nice jeep...
best suggestion that dont need 5 spare tire on the back rear...
because of weight and eat battery alot plus short running time...
what happen the taillights are NOT has 2 amber yellow lights on the rear taillights
Could you do a video on conversion from nitro to electric and other odd build type things like that.
I noticed that your TRX4 Sport has fenders mounted on the chassis. Did you add those or are they part of the kit? My RTR doesn't have them. Also, to add fenders, do you need both fender parts kits (chassis andbody)? Thanks, Michael
What's the difference(s) between the Sport and the normal Version?
Sport is more performance based no 2 speed transmission and no locking diffs basically 3 less servos to fail 💯
So Diffs are locked stock? Nice. This might be the better get. I hope they both have the same wheelbase, 'cause I want the D110 body. Thanks.
@@stinkyrainbow653 yessir both have the 12.3 wheelbase

Cool
where does the second wire from the light bar go
Is the led box waterproof ?
What are the dimensions of the expedition rack? I've asked like 10 people today but nobody will answer me
What is the y harness for in the power module
i still have a lot of work to do 😁
How do you get a cut body without having to paint it yourself
I'm newer to trucks.. is this body based on a Toyota? Thx in advance!
I'm proud lol I love your vids if you get a chance could you possibly do a giveaway for a traxxas rustler I have wanted it for a year especially the 4x4 vxl
Just a suggestion
My suggestion is get a job it feels so much better to work for what you have than to ask for it💯 🤜💥🤛
If you save up ur money it wouldn't be that hard to get a nice rc
I'm 14 and only get money from chores I try but I have other things I save up for it was just a suggestion
What are the dimensions of the rack?
What are the lengths of the two light bars?
Hola buenas los faros seles puedo montar ala carroceria de serie?? y si ay asientos para el trx4spor un saludo y un 👍

Watched the whole video and you never even turned them on...wtf
